I had several good referral and got some good part time jobs. I would go back when I need to.

Yes, you still should have LinkedIn. Though, You need a set of fresh eyes in telling you how what's going on, with your resume, interview skills, etc... to upgrade yourself career wise and level up to the demanding skills of today. I know this because I was brought here through a network. Now going at it on your own in LA can be a challenge and I'll say it, ROUGH! Long story short, I learned about Appleone through a friend I decided to finally give her a call and I got in touch with Ha (yes that's her name) And yes and she was delightful professional attentive. It's a pain but your skills need to be assessed for true legit employment. If you ever found yourself not getting evaluated or just being asked a couple of questions. Be Aware. Or it sounds to easy to do or believe it - (Be careful out there) ALL OR MOST JOBS applications are not supposed to charge you. Anyways, sidetracked! Coming back to my story - you got to do all the tests, you got to do all the work by completing watching all the videos. And signing a gazillion papers. That's just how the agency protects themselves of making sure you are who you are supposed to be! You'll know honestly, if you want something legit is going to take discipline to get you through and in order to get the agency to speak on your behalf as a great employable candidate.

Apparently those people have schedule of can't be contacted directly. It's always been I leave my information and will contact when one these mysterious service providers are there. They tell me they will contact me when someone is available so we can schedule a meeting and weeks go by and I go down there again (It's close by) and go through the same all over again! I 'm not sure what exactly is going on on down there: It's all promises- no delivery.

Tellus Recruiting truly changed my life…read more After spending months stuck in a toxic workplace with power and emotional harassment, I worked with Tellus Recruiting for about three months while receiving career counseling. Having three female recruiters--who are also moms--made the process feel supportive, safe, and even fun. I never felt alone during my job search, and it truly felt like a team effort. I was able to leave a temporary job and find a position in a healthy, positive work environment. I've been at my new job for almost a month now and feel confident this is a place I can stay long-term. I especially want to thank Yukari, Natsue and Narumi for their constant support and kindness throughout this process. What really sets Tellus apart is their aftercare. Even after I was hired, they continue to check in and genuinely care. I'm incredibly grateful to the Tellus team and highly recommend them to anyone who needs real support during a career transition.

I contacted Tellus to help me find work in a different industry than the one I was previously in, and Narumi helped me out a lot with ways to edit my resume. She even got me an interview. However, both parties ghosted me - both the employer who interviewed me AND Tellus/Narumi. Both told me they'd get back by the following week and no communication. She ignored my emails and texts and gave me absolutely zero follow up about the job. What a waste, not only of my time, but of my emotions. Basic communication should be a given. This was inconsiderate and unprofessional.

I must have submitted my resume into a dozen job agency ads/websites, various online portals (Monster, Ziprecruiter, LinkedInetc) and spoke with many representatives while visiting their offices. Over time, the search became repetitive and discouraging, as it stretched longer than anticipated and I was getting the same dead-end responses from recruiters. It was a breath of fresh air when Elite Placement reached out to me. Right away I noticed the differences in their service. John and his team are certainly the experts that were there to support, ready to communicate, and sincerely want to go above and beyond to find the right job for me. My main contact was John. He was very professional, stayed transparent and accessible to answer any/all questions via email and phone. This was comforting for me because I was not familiar with the "temp to hire" process and I had moments when it was easy to let negatives creep into my thoughts. Please note it is so important to not give up or settle for any offers that are on the table especially if it doesn't fullfill all your requirements. From my first conversation with John to the time I received my official offer letter, it took a total of 6 months. A lot of sacrificing and adjustments were made along the way, but John and his team stayed supportive and encouraging the entire time. Remember that they are on your side! I feel really lucky to have found Elite Placement Group. It is a wonderful feeling and a great sense of accomplishment when finally signing that offer letter. I now hold a position that aligns with my career and within the company of my top choice. I am beyond happy and this is the best gift I can receive right before the Holidays. I feel blessed that I can spend happy times with my family without having to worry about my future. Thank you John and Team! Wishing you guys lots of success and happiness in the future!
