Reading the reviews just proves the failure of customer review systems! I was particularly amused by the reviewer complaining about taking pictures (who admitted he makes his own shirts!) - obviously knocking off ideas! As for food and drink, the store is crammed with fresh stock at all times, so common sense should say "no food......" If you want excellent collections of well made, styled men's clothing AND get helpful professional and knowledgeable advice, shop here. The owners run the store (and have done so for 20+ years) and work hard to provide great selections at fair prices. Jackets and shirts are especially good, with basic tailoring changes included. Be pleasant, and you will be served well!! A shout out to independent stores here: sadly (and due to some ill-informed window browsers), they are slowly disappearing. read more

The store appears to have some very amazing menswear but the woman working is extremely rude! Very condescending. Rather than helping a man that didn't have his glasses and asked what color a shirt was said, it's on the tag, another gal walked in and said you can't come here with food or drink and proceeded to say it's on the door in a very snide way. read more

We have been going to this store for over 20 years. The clothes are unique and more than reasonable. This is one of the most outstanding clothiers on the continent, but if you give Alan, the proprietor a hard time don't expect him to take any of your gruff because his time is valuable and his expertise about clothes and world events is impeccable. read more

Was immediately profiled by the owner. I walked in incredibly excited to peruse the diverse and exemplary selection of men's shirts. As someone who sews his own dress shirts for fun, I was very excited to see this store of unique fabrics. As I walked in, the owner was immediate rude with me. He ignored all of my questions, and when I was taking a picture of some shirts to send to my friends, he told me to put my phone away and said "it's as if I walked into your house and took pictures of all of your things." Immediately following the encounter, he trailed me around the store, never taking his eyes off me, and ignoring all of my questions. I never gave him a reason to be so upset and unprofessional with me, he just took one look at me and decided I didn't belong in his store. When in Naples I always try to go here. Great store for men. First, it's a no pressure sales atmosphere. Second, what they sell is unique. We came to this store on vacation and my boyfriend was thrilled to find a place that sold quality men's wear shirts, especially as he has recently developed a passion for creating his own. The employee (possibly the owner?) was on the phone as we were initially looking, which was no bit deal. He offered to help us if we had questions but immediately got short with us as my boyfriend tried to take a picture to send to a friend asking which shirt he should buy. My boyfriend said it was no problem that he couldn't take a photo and tried to switch the subject to avoid awkwardness, mentioning how he had recently got into men's fashion and asking about the clothes. The employee ignored him and instead talked about how taking photos was like walking into someone's house taking pictures (which first of all, is a bit of a stretch) and how they never knew the type of people who would come in to take pictures. (Additionally, there were no signs indicating no pictures.) A bit of a strange statement, but ok. The rest of the time, he very intently watched my boyfriend as he was simply admiring the fashions and looking for a shirt to pick out. We felt so uncomfortable we just left. I'm not sure if he thought because we were young or dressed casually that we weren't there to buy, but honestly, his condescending attitude turned us off from even considering a purchase. I had even mentioned out loud buying a shirt for my boyfriend, so I have no idea why we were written off as legitimate customers. I never write Yelp reviews, but I really feel like there was poor customer service and stereotyping involved in our experience. We left feeling extremely disappointed and judged. I think the place should reconsider its approach to its customers, especially in a popular tourist area where they never know the type of people where there business may come from. read more

I tried to get a resolution on a pair of expensive jeans I wore once and washed. They shrank quite a bit so I brought them back to see what the owner would say. Never in all my life have I been so insulted. He was nasty and accused me of washing them incorrectly. He words were, "What do you want ME to do about it?" I thought he was going to physically assault me. I left when he told me that I was nasty and I threw the pants at him. Stay away, stay far away. read more

I check out Teruzzi's every time I am in Naples. They always have great looking shirts and other clothing. They recently replaced their Bugatchi line with a Canadian brand called Bertigo, which is a great looking shirt and half the cost. One warning however; the Bertigo sizing is strange. I wear a large or XL and found I had to get a XXL in these. The owners have always been friendly when I was in their store. read more

The rudest, most unprofessional owner I have EVER come in contact with. My father passed away several months ago, and he had purchased quite a bit of clothing from the store over the years. Today was my mother's 85th birthday and while in the shopping center to buy her ice cream, she asked if we could stop at the store because she wanted to thank the owner and tell him how much my father enjoyed his clothing from Teruzzi's. Although the sign said that the Store closes at 7 PM the door was locked at 6:52 PM. The owner was standing just inside the door with another employee and my mother knocked on the door and he turned around and dismissed her away with an awful look on his face. My sister then knocked on the door and said my mom just wanted to talk to him for a moment. He literally scowled at them and told them to leave. My poor mother was so confused because she just wanted to pay this man a compliment, so I then approached the door and knocked loudly and when he turned I told him that my mother only needed a minute of his time. He walked to the door with the most unpleasant and furious look on his face. He opened the door and spoke in the most condescending manner. While my mom tried to explain to him that her husband had passed away and how much he had enjoyed the store he dismissed her and was basically closing the door in her face. I was furious that anyone would talk to my mother this way especially when she was just trying to be nice. Up until that point the three of us were just stunned that any professional would act this way. I blew my top and actually referred to him as an a-hole, because quite honestly, that word best describes him at that moment. My mother had tears in her eyes and she was just speechless that he spoke to her in that manner. We walked away from the store and while I turned around to take a picture of the sign he stormed out of the store and as he walked past me he said, "you will be hearing from my lawyer." Not sure what he meant by that threat to me, but I can say that in my 50 years of life, I have never dealt with anyone more unprofessional or rude and downright nasty. At first we thought it was a disgruntled employee, and when we found out later that it was actually the owner, we were shocked. If this is the way he treats a customer that tries to give him a compliment, I can't even imagine how he reacts if someone actually has an issue with his clothing. Best ever wash and wear dressy shirts. Expect to pay more but the styles and quality are worth the price. The owner/operator is very helpful without being thee least bit pushy. Other dress shirts are also spectacular, but I just do not like to iron! Wool dress slacks are first rate and and a decent price. read more
