Of all the different gelato shops along Via Maqueda, Terzo Cerchio had by far my favorite selection of flavors on offer! There was the unique Gattopardo, a pistachio-based gelato with a generous topping of chopped nuts, including walnuts, pistachios, and hazelnuts, which added an amazing crunch. I was also a big fan of the coffee flavor (with a few whole coffee beans thrown in) and the nocciolosa (hazelnuts). But yet another highlight was the Greek pistachio, their only savory gelato flavor and a great selection to balance out the sweet flavors. You can get the gelato in a cup or cone (or on a freshly-made waffle), but I would not miss trying their gelato in a brioche bun, whose softness and slight savory was made for a surprisingly good pairing with the cold treat! read more
