The pharmacy is good with a satisfactory range of products. Don't get rid of it like you have with the cafe.
You spoilled what could have been a customer focal friendly and enticement for business by opening a Costa Coffee, burnt expensive labelled motorway style service, in an area whos customers required a no frills cafe.
I often meet my clients in a Morrisons, Sainsburys or Asda Cafe. The food is not a'le carte but simple, they are located where we can find it and often buy something else from the store even a newspaper.
Why did you not flag it out to a decent caterer? No you now have a book shop when even as I notice the newspapers are pilled up unsoled, don't insult my inteligence by claiming that the stands are regularly topped up.
Now as of June 2010, you have built an entrance hall indicative and uniformed as other stores. Well, for safety why did you not realign the entrance road to avoid pedestrians in conflict with moving traffic? No because your H & S has been dubbed by corporate image.
I also suggest that you make substantial reductions to your reduced cabinet. It is false economy to claim reduction and not pass on to the customer. You customers should be valued and provided good customer service as in the case of reductions as described. May I also suggest that you Mr Tesco stop selling fruit that has gone bad as I often find. Reduce it before it gets shop soiled and sell on therefore turning a waste into cash, 'wiping its face'. Then manage the flow of produce. Once again do not insult my intelligence by saying that the produce is subject to demand and production, this can be managed if customers at both ends of the chain are respected. Customers will attend the store brows the reduction and buy other produce. Example, Co-Op Scholar Green. Substantial reduction on near sale by dated goods. Customers attend buy and also buy other products that are not reduced. Result good customer retention equals proffit equals your job. Need I say more?
