The homes are so nice, the beach is fantastic, the amenities (basketball, pickleball, fitness center, swimming pools, fishing ponds, and much more) provided our family--including a 13-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter--with fun activities, and the staff took great care of us. In fact, we enjoyed it so much, we went to the real estate office and now are working towards a goal of buying a place here. In the meantime, we'll be coming back as often as possible and renting when we do. My family and I give Cinnamon Shores our highest recommendation!

My family owned a home here for over 10 years, and honestly, after this experience, I'm relieved we no longer do. It's disgusting to see how loyal residents and vacationers are treated now. Cinnamon Shore seems to think they can do whatever they want and treat people like second-class citizens. To make matters worse, the house we stayed in had cockroaches, which was already unacceptable considering the cost of staying here. Larry and Juan from courtesy patrol then approached and harassed my family over an investigation that none of us were involved in. During the interaction, they were taking photos of me and my family, which made us extremely uncomfortable. When I confronted them about it, Larry responded with, "You're not that sweet, sweetheart," before they became even more disrespectful and unprofessional, eventually calling me and my sister "f***ing ret*rds." What makes this even more disturbing is that I have the entire interaction recorded. I have special needs family members, so hearing that kind of language was beyond offensive and unacceptable. No guest, resident, or homeowner should ever be treated this way, especially by staff or security personnel who are supposed to make people feel safe. After being a loyal guest and homeowner family since 2009, I am honestly shocked and disgusted by the level of harassment, disrespect, and overall experience my family had.

Place had rules posted up that made it clear they wouldn't tolerate behavior that makes an uncomfortable sat for any other guests (partying, loud music, unwelcome visitors). I expected dirty rooms and having to burn my clothes after, but that was not the case here. This place was nice. This is not a 5 star hotel. This is not a vacation destination for your family. If you want chocolate on your pillows go somewhere else and expect to pay more. This is the perfect place to grab a couple hours sleep off the road, or if a warm cozy bed if the deer camp gets too cold! Downside: towels were small, and the bed was uncomfortable for me. It wasn't a bad bed. It was one of those new hyped up memory foam mattresses everyone loves. As a big guy i prefer an old box spring or hybrid. I still slept like a baby, but I would've slept better on an old mattress. I know I'm weird...

Cherry on top, besides all the noise heard, power went out around 0400 with no word on when it would return and we could hear it ALL. I understand bfast prep being needed, but i don't think she had ever been in this situation and wasn't sure how to obtain this info I requested. Most of the stalls were occupied when we arrived around 12:30 in the afternoon on Christmas Eve, but no wait for us. Speeds were good and it looked like all the stalls were operational.

I reported to the front desk, and the young lady offered me a shower in another room the next morning. I felt paranoid and uncomfortable all night, concerned about bugs. The next morning, I spoke with the front desk personnel again, who gave me the key to 212 for my family to shower. I appreciate the gesture, but I am deeply upset that I paid for a room that was unclean and not satisfactory. I emailed the general manager on 12/27/2024 but received no response. I followed up with another email today. This was not a good experience.

The room had a mini kitchen with a stove and fridge. The room also had plates and cups. They allow dogs. They charge $20 per dog. It's worth it your traveling with your pets. They have a doggy potty area out back by the parking lot. Pool: small. I didn't use it, so I can't say much for it. Breakfast: The breakfast is continental. I'm used to the waffles and this time they didn't have them. I am not sure if it is due to the pandemic. They did have scrambled eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns/tater tots for the hot portion.
