The vibe is focused on family and fun. Port A is a quick 5 minute drive if you're looking for clubs, noise and chaos but within the Cinnamon Shore community it's family friendly fun and convenient luxury steps away from all living quarters. Cinnamon Shore is a beautiful property with wonderful amenities and a family-friendly atmosphere. The beach access, pools, and overall community are what keep us coming back. La La Land was a gorgeous home and we would definitely stay at this unit again. Unfortunately, our most recent stay included several service and maintenance issues that impacted the experience. While the staff was courteous, response times were challenging when problems arose. The most significant issue occurred on our final night when multiple fire alarms sounded in our unit for an extended period of time while we were traveling with an infant and toddler. Because maintenance was not immediately available on-site, it took quite some time to resolve the situation. I truly believe our experience would have been very different had maintenance personnel been available on the property to respond more quickly to urgent issues. For a resort of this size and caliber, having faster on-site maintenance support would greatly improve the guest experience and help prevent minor issues from becoming major disruptions. Cinnamon Shore has so much potential to provide an exceptional vacation experience, and I hope management continues investing in the operational side of the resort to match the beauty of the property itself. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. I've been coming here since 2009 and have always loved staying here, but things have completely gone downhill. My family owned a home here for over 10 years, and honestly, after this experience, I'm relieved we no longer do. It's disgusting to see how loyal residents and vacationers are treated now. Cinnamon Shore seems to think they can do whatever they want and treat people like second-class citizens. To make matters worse, the house we stayed in had cockroaches, which was already unacceptable considering the cost of staying here. Larry and Juan from courtesy patrol then approached and harassed my family over an investigation that none of us were involved in. During the interaction, they were taking photos of me and my family, which made us extremely uncomfortable. When I confronted them about it, Larry responded with, "You're not that sweet, sweetheart," before they became even more disrespectful and unprofessional, eventually calling me and my sister "f***ing ret*rds." What makes this even more disturbing is that I have the entire interaction recorded. I have special needs family members, so hearing that kind of language was beyond offensive and unacceptable. No guest, resident, or homeowner should ever be treated this way, especially by staff or security personnel who are supposed to make people feel safe. After being a loyal guest and homeowner family since 2009, I am honestly shocked and disgusted by the level of harassment, disrespect, and overall experience my family had. read more

Cinnamon Shore - The whole family enjoyed every minute! - Vacation Rentals Near Me - Port Aransas, Texas

The first thing I have to say is the house was perfectly cleaned when we arrived (RENTAL La Ola 261 BE). There is nothing worse than arriving for a vacation to a dirty house. Not a problem here - Bathroom & Kitchen were spotless. There was no sand anywhere that we noticed, and for a beach house that is saying something. The best part of this particular house was there was a barn door in the living room area to keep our little ones off the stairs. The house was comfortable, including the beds & pillows. It was well stocked with everything we needed/wanted, even coffee filters. Speaking of coffee, the machine had both K-cup and drip. Good sized TV's in all but one bedroom. Common room areas had a lot of seating, inside and outside. However, for the size of the house, it would have been nice to have had just a few more chairs/seating. We ordered beach chairs & umbrellas on the beach in advance, and had no issues. They were timely setup and ready on the days we requested. As was the bonfire. We ordered a golf cart in advance and it was at the house upon our arrival. It did not have enough seats, so we tried to order another one, but they were sold out for the weekend. My suggestion is to plan ahead or you might not be able to get one. Not many cons, some were house specific and not for Cinnamon Shores overall (and were reported upon leaving). Such as, the dishwasher did not seem to clean completely, grill was broken and difficult to use, water dripping out of exhaust, and a few other things. At least some of these should have been reported by the cleaning staff and repaired. The family pool (only one we went to), was nice. However, as the "family" pool we expected a small pool area for small kids, but there isn't one. There is a small slide, but that is about it for children. The playground was also disappointing. There are things to do in the evening, such as movie night. There is a concession stand, but prepare to wait in a long line. As for the restaurants in the community, PLAN AHEAD and make a reservation well in advance! They are very small considering how many people are in Cinnamon Shore during peak season, especially inside seating. One of the two restaurants makes you leave a message to make a reservation. I did that, and they never called me back. At the other restaurant, because we waited to make our reservation when we arrived the day before, we were only able to get outside seating. On the day of the reservation, when we arrived we were told we had to take our food to go because it was going to rain. The staff was NOT accommodating. So we left - then it did NOT rain at all! This was the most disappointing part of the trip. We enjoyed Cinnamon Shores, and we would be happy to plan a trip there again in the future. read more

Shopped at the Boutique store the morning of June 25. Lovely shop, but the young blonde girl worker was unfriendly and clearly didn't want to be there. A smile and thank you upon finishing a purchase goes a long way when customers spend their hard earned money. "Here ya go" is the only thing she said after she threw our items in a bag. Our family has been staying at Cinnamon Shore for the past four years. This year our stay at Cinnamon Shore - One Particular Harbor -was unfortunately marked by a series of significant issues from the moment we arrived. The home was not properly cleaned before our check-in. We found trash left in the upstairs bedrooms, soiled linens on the third floor, dirty cups in the hallway, and used towels in the secondary bathroom. Although the dishes had been put away, many were still dirty, and several plastic cups had visible mold growing inside them. In addition to the cleanliness concerns, there were multiple maintenance and utility problems throughout our stay. The freezer was inoperable for the first two days, and the property management maintenance team taped it shut and instructed us not to use it. On the fourth night, the gas service was shut off due to non-payment by the homeowner, leaving us without gas until late the following morning. Even after the gas was restored, we later discovered that the hot water was still not working because the tankless water heater needed to be reset. To their credit, the property management company did provide some reimbursement in recognition of these issues, and we appreciated their responsiveness in addressing our concerns. However, the compensation offered did not adequately reflect the extent of the problems we experienced or the disruption they caused to our vacation. Between the cleanliness issues upon arrival, the loss of freezer use, and the interruption of essential utilities including gas and hot water, the overall experience fell well short of expectations. While the location and potential of the property may be appealing, the combination of poor housekeeping, maintenance issues, and utility interruptions had a significant negative impact on our stay. We hope these issues are addressed so future guests can enjoy a more comfortable and reliable experience. read more

This was our first time staying at Cinnamon Shores, and now we can't imagine staying anywhere else when visiting Port Aransas! The homes are so nice, the beach is fantastic, the amenities (basketball, pickleball, fitness center, swimming pools, fishing ponds, and much more) provided our family--including a 13-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter--with fun activities, and the staff took great care of us. In fact, we enjoyed it so much, we went to the real estate office and now are working towards a goal of buying a place here. In the meantime, we'll be coming back as often as possible and renting when we do. My family and I give Cinnamon Shores our highest recommendation! read more

Five night stay late June. we stayed in a condo on social circle. It was ready when we arrived which was nice! Perfect spot to see and easily partake of activities on the lawn. The condo was beautiful and open. everything we needed was available. We were disappointed in the porch seating. We had a condo for seven yet we only had two outdoor chairs. We were surprised that the back balcony which was large had nothing to sit on. Our rentals from mustang rentals were also readily available. We enjoyed the ocean as well as the pools. Very family oriented and the beach was perfect for shallow water play with littles For a shorter drive with kiddos this was a terrific place to spend with our family. read more

Five stars simply aren't enough for our incredible week at Cinnamon Shore! Our house, Cinnamon Sunset, was a dream - perfectly situated next to the pool and café, which our girls absolutely loved. The beach boardwalk was just a short, easy walk away, making beach trips a breeze. The in-house elevator at Cinnamon Sunset was a fantastic feature, making arrivals and departures so much smoother and, crucially, allowing us to plan future trips with my parents who will now be able to join us. We made the most of the onsite pickleball and basketball, and the fishing pond right behind our house was a delightful bonus (and yes, the fish were biting!). And kudos for the H-E-B delivery service - so convenient! This is our new go-to for a perfect Port Aransas getaway. read more

We loved our stay at Cinnamon Shores North and can't wait to come back! We ended up needing a last-minute getaway and loved that they had pet friendly stays so we could bring our dogs. The condo where we stayed was clean and had a lovely beach decor. We ended up going here off-season, which we love because it's less crowded and there are no lines for the restaurants that are within the complex. We also checked out the pool which was gorgeous. We loved that the beach was just a short walk away and that there were always cinnamon shores cars around monitoring the complex. One thing I would recommend is that when you first get to your abode, make sure you take pictures of anything you find that's damaged and send it to the Cinnamon Shores folks so that you don't get charged for it. We did that and they were very receptive to everything. The only drawback to our vacation were all the jellyfish that were washing up onshore, but that's just nature and not the fault of this complex. But we really enjoyed our stay and we will be back soon! read more

this is our third time to stay at cinnamon shore! disappointed that Friday and Saturday of spring break the trailer at Cinnamon Shore was not open even though it was advertised. we were all looking forward to coffee and breakfast along with a lot of other guests that would show up and no one showed up to work. The house we stayed in was our least favorite because the only supplied three beach towels when the occupancy was 14. not to deter anyone from staying at cinnamon shore because it's a fabulous place in Port Aransas. cinnamon Shores South is our favorite to stay at. summer catch & uncharted are by far more of our favorite than the one we just stayed at Park place. It was still nice but it needs to be more accommodating for the price. Our golf cart was awesome and easy. read more

We absolutely love visiting here! The beach is so beautiful and always kept clean. I highly recommend renting beach chairs. It's just one less thing to drag out to the beach and you get a reserved spot. The beach is dog friendly too! Our pup loved playing in the water with our kids! We stayed in the Happy Kat our first stay. It was an ok house. A bit overly cluttered with furniture and decor junk so it was hard to move around. Definitely not a good house for a group of people. It also had a major ant problem. Every day there were ants all over the furniture and all over the kitchen counters. Another stay we were in a lakeside house. I can't remember it's name but I posted it's picture. The house started with the word Lakeview in its name. It was a beautiful house. Laid out so well! The kitchen was fantastic and I loved the breakfast nook. It was a perfect place for kids (height wise). It was so convent to the game area, main pool and center circle where the movies play! The only issue with this house was the roach problem. Every day we were killing off roaches. The main pool is the only pool we really spend our time while here. It's a good size, there's two small water slides and the playground is attached to it. My kids loved going back and forth from the playground to the pool! There's two restaurants on site and an ice cream truck open in the evenings. This is a great, family friendly place! read more

Restaurants were worth it alone! We had 20 people and no one was dissatisfied....all happy. The two well known resorts we also visited don't compare. This was our first official family vacation and it couldn't have been more perfect! My 3 year old and 6 year old had an absolute blast. They did not want to leave! We are originally from Florida and just moved to Austin from Cali a year ago so we really missed the beach. Cinnamon Shores did not dissapoint! We also brought our pup which was great because we do not leaving him alone! He loved the beach and we really liked how dog friendly it was. The unit we stayed at was right around social circle which was great! The beds were super comfortable and we had everything we needed. A golf cart is MUST! It was a lot of fun cruising around and made it easy to drive everything out the beach! Oh and the pools! They were one of the highlights. We are definitely making this a yearly trip for us! A nice, new community in Port Aransas. They are very organized and have great communication from the moment you book and throughout your entire stay. A golf cart is a must and the beach chairs and umbrella set up is a nice addition too. Overall, we were not that impressed with the house we stayed at and think the entire community is overpriced. We expected more with the $1000/night price tag. Light filtering/blackout shades would have been nice in the bedroom, working AC downstairs and a freezer door that opens properly are just a few of the improvements that could be made to the house. read more

We had a wonderful stay at Cinnamon Shore this week. We stayed at Grey Mist. The beds were comfortable, and the house is decorated so beautifully. The kitchen is downstairs, so that made it easier for unloading groceries. We had HEB in Flour Bluff deliver our groceries, and that was very convenient. It is so worth the $40 fee. The master bedroom is also downstairs, so that was nice my parents didn't have to lug their bags upstairs. We ate at Stout's, Dylan's, and Lisabella's. They were all good, but Lisabella's wasn't as good this time as I remembered it being the last couple of years. Most of our entrees needed some salt. We had food delivered to the beach a couple of times, and that was really convenient. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back! read more
