Cinnamon Shore is a beautiful property with wonderful amenities and a family-friendly atmosphere. The beach access, pools, and overall community are what keep us coming back. La La Land was a gorgeous home and we would definitely stay at this unit again. Unfortunately, our most recent stay included several service and maintenance issues that impacted the experience. While the staff was courteous, response times were challenging when problems arose. The most significant issue occurred on our final night when multiple fire alarms sounded in our unit for an extended period of time while we were traveling with an infant and toddler. Because maintenance was not immediately available on-site, it took quite some time to resolve the situation. I truly believe our experience would have been very different had maintenance personnel been available on the property to respond more quickly to urgent issues. For a resort of this size and caliber, having faster on-site maintenance support would greatly improve the guest experience and help prevent minor issues from becoming major disruptions. Cinnamon Shore has so much potential to provide an exceptional vacation experience, and I hope management continues investing in the operational side of the resort to match the beauty of the property itself. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. I've been coming here since 2009 and have always loved staying here, but things have completely gone downhill. My family owned a home here for over 10 years, and honestly, after this experience, I'm relieved we no longer do. It's disgusting to see how loyal residents and vacationers are treated now. Cinnamon Shore seems to think they can do whatever they want and treat people like second-class citizens. To make matters worse, the house we stayed in had cockroaches, which was already unacceptable considering the cost of staying here. Larry and Juan from courtesy patrol then approached and harassed my family over an investigation that none of us were involved in. During the interaction, they were taking photos of me and my family, which made us extremely uncomfortable. When I confronted them about it, Larry responded with, "You're not that sweet, sweetheart," before they became even more disrespectful and unprofessional, eventually calling me and my sister "f***ing ret*rds." What makes this even more disturbing is that I have the entire interaction recorded. I have special needs family members, so hearing that kind of language was beyond offensive and unacceptable. No guest, resident, or homeowner should ever be treated this way, especially by staff or security personnel who are supposed to make people feel safe. After being a loyal guest and homeowner family since 2009, I am honestly shocked and disgusted by the level of harassment, disrespect, and overall experience my family had. read more

We stayed in Casa Grande (327 Hideaway) and it was exceptional! This is such a beautiful home and was very comfortable for our family - 6 adults and 3 children. The designer decor and high end appliances are not typically found in a rental property (nugget icemaker). You get the feeling you are staying in a private home and not a vacation rental. The location of the home is close to the beach access and it is an easy walk to the beach. Of course the convenience of the Cinnamon Shores beach chairs and umbrellas are another added touch that can't be found in other rentals. The home is also in walking distance to two community pools and the community areas where you can find lots of activities, shopping and food. We look forward to returning to this stunning home! read more

The first thing I have to say is the house was perfectly cleaned when we arrived (RENTAL La Ola 261 BE). There is nothing worse than arriving for a vacation to a dirty house. Not a problem here - Bathroom & Kitchen were spotless. There was no sand anywhere that we noticed, and for a beach house that is saying something. The best part of this particular house was there was a barn door in the living room area to keep our little ones off the stairs. The house was comfortable, including the beds & pillows. It was well stocked with everything we needed/wanted, even coffee filters. Speaking of coffee, the machine had both K-cup and drip. Good sized TV's in all but one bedroom. Common room areas had a lot of seating, inside and outside. However, for the size of the house, it would have been nice to have had just a few more chairs/seating. We ordered beach chairs & umbrellas on the beach in advance, and had no issues. They were timely setup and ready on the days we requested. As was the bonfire. We ordered a golf cart in advance and it was at the house upon our arrival. It did not have enough seats, so we tried to order another one, but they were sold out for the weekend. My suggestion is to plan ahead or you might not be able to get one. Not many cons, some were house specific and not for Cinnamon Shores overall (and were reported upon leaving). Such as, the dishwasher did not seem to clean completely, grill was broken and difficult to use, water dripping out of exhaust, and a few other things. At least some of these should have been reported by the cleaning staff and repaired. The family pool (only one we went to), was nice. However, as the "family" pool we expected a small pool area for small kids, but there isn't one. There is a small slide, but that is about it for children. The playground was also disappointing. There are things to do in the evening, such as movie night. There is a concession stand, but prepare to wait in a long line. As for the restaurants in the community, PLAN AHEAD and make a reservation well in advance! They are very small considering how many people are in Cinnamon Shore during peak season, especially inside seating. One of the two restaurants makes you leave a message to make a reservation. I did that, and they never called me back. At the other restaurant, because we waited to make our reservation when we arrived the day before, we were only able to get outside seating. On the day of the reservation, when we arrived we were told we had to take our food to go because it was going to rain. The staff was NOT accommodating. So we left - then it did NOT rain at all! This was the most disappointing part of the trip. We enjoyed Cinnamon Shores, and we would be happy to plan a trip there again in the future. read more

We had an amazing experience and thoroughly enjoyed both the property and the variety of community activities offered. The customer service was outstanding. One suggestion that could further enhance the guest experience would be to have a staff member provide a brief property orientation or walking tour upon arrival, highlighting key amenities and offering helpful tips. For example, the beach access paths and exits were not particularly pedestrian-friendly. Since most guests rent golf carts, the pathways can become quite narrow, making it feel crowded and somewhat unsafe for those who are walking. read more

The construction of this place was very poor. We had some sort of electrical issue the whole time. Oven didn't work, dishwasher didn't work, garbage disposal didn't work. They don't answer the phone when you call. I had to go to the office each time. Griddle outside didn't have a good seal on gas tank. Lights in upper bunk room and lower bedroom would randomly pop on. Bar area in pool was not open as they said it was. Not impressed at all with the stay. Not worth the large price tag. read more

Really all you're paying for is the convenience here -- there is a coffee shop and a pizza restaurant you can walk to which is nice, but everywhere we have stayed on Port A has been nicer, more affordable, and more equipped for guests. The beach houses don't have any beach towels, nor dish soap or salt or basics of any kind. For a "luxury" experience and price tag, I definitely expected better. Next time we'll be staying elsewhere. read more

Cinnamon Shore South is great family location, not as busy as North area. Plenty of pools and activities for the kids to enjoy. Beach access was great. We rented 2 carts and they were delivered on time and we got one refueled during our stay by the Cinnamon Shore staff which was very nice. We stayed at 217 Southshore drive. The house and casita setup was perfect for our family get together. Large covered porch and hot tub were fantastic. The kitchen area had 2 ice makers which were life savers, lotsa pots and pans for cooking and even a good selection of spices. 2 refrigerators helped to assure we had plenty of cold beverages for the family. Highly recommend this property for large family gatherings. read more

This was our first time staying at Cinnamon Shores, and now we can't imagine staying anywhere else when visiting Port Aransas! The homes are so nice, the beach is fantastic, the amenities (basketball, pickleball, fitness center, swimming pools, fishing ponds, and much more) provided our family--including a 13-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter--with fun activities, and the staff took great care of us. In fact, we enjoyed it so much, we went to the real estate office and now are working towards a goal of buying a place here. In the meantime, we'll be coming back as often as possible and renting when we do. My family and I give Cinnamon Shores our highest recommendation! read more

Our family has been staying at Cinnamon Shore for the past four years. This year our stay at Cinnamon Shore - One Particular Harbor -was unfortunately marked by a series of significant issues from the moment we arrived. The home was not properly cleaned before our check-in. We found trash left in the upstairs bedrooms, soiled linens on the third floor, dirty cups in the hallway, and used towels in the secondary bathroom. Although the dishes had been put away, many were still dirty, and several plastic cups had visible mold growing inside them. In addition to the cleanliness concerns, there were multiple maintenance and utility problems throughout our stay. The freezer was inoperable for the first two days, and the property management maintenance team taped it shut and instructed us not to use it. On the fourth night, the gas service was shut off due to non-payment by the homeowner, leaving us without gas until late the following morning. Even after the gas was restored, we later discovered that the hot water was still not working because the tankless water heater needed to be reset. To their credit, the property management company did provide some reimbursement in recognition of these issues, and we appreciated their responsiveness in addressing our concerns. However, the compensation offered did not adequately reflect the extent of the problems we experienced or the disruption they caused to our vacation. Between the cleanliness issues upon arrival, the loss of freezer use, and the interruption of essential utilities including gas and hot water, the overall experience fell well short of expectations. While the location and potential of the property may be appealing, the combination of poor housekeeping, maintenance issues, and utility interruptions had a significant negative impact on our stay. We hope these issues are addressed so future guests can enjoy a more comfortable and reliable experience. read more

Five stars simply aren't enough for our incredible week at Cinnamon Shore! Our house, Cinnamon Sunset, was a dream - perfectly situated next to the pool and café, which our girls absolutely loved. The beach boardwalk was just a short, easy walk away, making beach trips a breeze. The in-house elevator at Cinnamon Sunset was a fantastic feature, making arrivals and departures so much smoother and, crucially, allowing us to plan future trips with my parents who will now be able to join us. We made the most of the onsite pickleball and basketball, and the fishing pond right behind our house was a delightful bonus (and yes, the fish were biting!). And kudos for the H-E-B delivery service - so convenient! This is our new go-to for a perfect Port Aransas getaway. read more

I give cinnamon shores 4 stars. I do recommend visiting cinnamon shores. Great place for families to enjoy a vacation. The upside to cinnamon shores is obviously the beach. It's directly adjacent to the beach making the beach fun and easy to access. Cinnamon shores has a beautiful Neibor hood with lakes, play places for kids, games, pools and amazingly clean and accessible restrooms throughout. The only reason for the 4 stars is that there is not enough food options. There is one coffee shop that serves a breakfast bagel sandwich and great coffee but when it's the only place around. Good luck getting your order. I sat in line for 30 minutes ordered the food and was told a 20 min wait for the food. I waited another 45 minutes then was told they gave my food to the wrong people and I was asked to wait another 20 min. I did since there were non other options. Then I was told sorry we stopped serving breakfast and never received my order. There is a pizza place for lunch or dinner but it's not anything to write home about. Especially since the food is not cheap. Then there's a seafood place and when we called they said they're booked out the whole summer. So we only got to eat the pizza place or we were forced to drive out of cinnamon shores to get food. Let me tell you cinnamon shores is beautiful. The rest of the city is not. So paying big price to stay somewhere nice then being forced to leave and go somewhere that's not nice is a bummer. A smile and thank you upon finishing a purchase goes a long way when customers spend their hard earned money. "Here ya go" is the only thing she said after she threw our items in a bag. we stayed in a condo right on town center Pros: it was within walking distance of restaurant, shops and outdoor activities and music.. it was also a short walk to beach.. 3 bedroom condo was spacious Beach cart rental was very easy, dropped off and picked up right by condo.. beach chairs an umbrellas were perfect get.. made beach going very enjoyable and easy to find because set up in same place every day Cons: we did see a couple of roaches, upstairs master bedroom had no curtains/ shades for doors so at 6:30 sun was shining in bedroom, also had TV issues but by the time guest services got back with us we had fixed problem.. also early morning sitting on balcony you got to listen to delivery truck for awhile dropping off supplies to restaurant so it was kind of noisy, finally we got back from beach with relatives only to find out we had no water.. we called three times up to guest services .. no response back, I then drove up there and asked about issue which they said it had been assigned but that was it... after three hours had gone by and no communication on when issue would be fixed, I drove up there again ( 10 minutes before closing ) and again someone said they'd get maintenance right over... finally about 10-20 minutes later ( after waiting almost 3 hrs ) we were told a valve had been turned off on side of condo... by the time that was figured out our guests had to leave without dinner.. overall first time there was OK read more

Five night stay late June. we stayed in a condo on social circle. It was ready when we arrived which was nice! Perfect spot to see and easily partake of activities on the lawn. The condo was beautiful and open. everything we needed was available. We were disappointed in the porch seating. We had a condo for seven yet we only had two outdoor chairs. We were surprised that the back balcony which was large had nothing to sit on. Our rentals from mustang rentals were also readily available. We enjoyed the ocean as well as the pools. Very family oriented and the beach was perfect for shallow water play with littles For a shorter drive with kiddos this was a terrific place to spend with our family. read more

We've been 3-4 times but this visit made me question if we will go back. It was insane- especially with little kids. Teens were driving carts all over the beach my daughter almost got run over. It took 5 requests and 24 hours to get a response from the front desk regarding issues with the condo. Two ppl were working the coffee shop- the only place to get coffee Memorial Day weekend- the line was out the door/an hour. Our cart was delivered to the wrong condo. After several texts and calls we still got it a day late. read more

We have stayed at the North property twice now and my only complaint is the temperature of the pools and lack of slides/splash pads for the kids. The pools are HOT by July. We loved our stay at Cinnamon Shores North and can't wait to come back! We ended up needing a last-minute getaway and loved that they had pet friendly stays so we could bring our dogs. The condo where we stayed was clean and had a lovely beach decor. We ended up going here off-season, which we love because it's less crowded and there are no lines for the restaurants that are within the complex. We also checked out the pool which was gorgeous. We loved that the beach was just a short walk away and that there were always cinnamon shores cars around monitoring the complex. One thing I would recommend is that when you first get to your abode, make sure you take pictures of anything you find that's damaged and send it to the Cinnamon Shores folks so that you don't get charged for it. We did that and they were very receptive to everything. The only drawback to our vacation were all the jellyfish that were washing up onshore, but that's just nature and not the fault of this complex. But we really enjoyed our stay and we will be back soon! read more
