I figured I needed to update this review…read more... They have done a complete overhaul of this station and now my old review no longer applies. This location has been updated with new Superchargers that all run faster, are cleaner, and there are twice as many as there were before. It is now up to standard of all other local Tesla Supercharger locations. It charges at blistering rates and the new hardware is great!! One note... as of 3-20-24 this station showed as "offline" on my cars map. I am not sure why. It was working. '24 - 23/100

One plus is the number of nice restaurants within reasonable walking distance. A Taco Bell is about 250' away. I feel really safe charging here.

Ultra fast Tesla Supercharger. It was charging at 800 mph the last time I was there. Of course it…read moreslows down as it charges. It runs 250kwh max and is consistently charging from 10% to 90% in about 35 mins. I've visited 7-8 times now. I got 90 days free SC with my car purchase. It charges faster than the Supercharger on Park (it's like 150-200 mph 150kwh max) does. Park location is always full and there were 10 cars waiting in line last time I was there. It's been pretty easy to just pull up and plug in here though. I guess MS is a little slow to adopt the EV, much like education, car insurance coverage, and things like, regular dentist visits & various general hygiene opportunities. Bonus!!! Milano's Pizza is across from it and the SC are actually in a Burger King parking lot. There are plenty of other walkable spots to visit as you add the electricity to your ride. Abbay's, Lowe's, Red Hook, just to name a few. Pretty soon the entire world of EV's will be charging here.

We tried going to Starbucks, but without crosswalks and lots of traffic, it was much more difficult than expected. It is nice to have a charger in this area, but plan accordingly for amenities.

They have a buffet and they have a couple of other restaurants that you can buy food from here at this location. I am used to going to casinos in California in Nevada, but not here in Arkansas. I was very impressed at how kind the staff was when we arrived. Everybody was customer service, friendly, and really wanted to make you feel like you were a valued guest. The ladies at the players club were professional about signing us all up because I came with a group. The machines are clean and they aren't sticky, which is a plus at a casino. I also thought that the dealers all looked very professional in they were ready and waiting for customers to sit down for games. There were so many pretty lights in the casino and it really highlighted the gaming floor. They have a hotel here, which is impressive. One of the negative things that I found out about was the bathrooms in the casino. When I walked in, there was a stench and stale smell of old urine. It seems that the cleaning person had just mopped the floor and had used an old mop because it smelled like old stale urine. I was so frustrated about this that, when I got outside of the restroom, I double and tripled wiped my shoes on the casino carpet just to get that smell out of the soles. Overall, this is a nice casino. I just had a couple of issues with not winning and the smelly bathroom floor.

Now, the main reason I visited Southland was for the buffet--and man, it was amazing. I sat there for over an hour enjoying fresh, hot, delicious food. The buffet was very well put together: clean, well-staffed, and full of great hospitality. Southland Casino Resort literally has everything you need for a great experience. Plus, being only about 10 minutes from downtown Memphis gave my partner and me even more places to explore. We can't wait to visit again soon.

Just walk across and take the elevator up then walk down the stairs and across then down thru the tunnel then take the fork in the road. Then once you finish with the paperwork, go up the escalator towards the mountains to get to your actual rental.

There are nice things about having an international airport in a major U.S. City. Also, there are opportunities for you to see very cool Art pieces on your way in and out out of the city. There are a lot of Art pieces displayed through out this airport. I believe that there is new construction because it does look a lot different from pictures that I saw when others visited here. They've done a great job with keeping it fresh clean and culturally relevant. Also, the bathrooms our very updated and new. At least in the terminal we were in near gate five. They have around the clock bathroom attendance, making sure that the supplies are in Check as well as that it is clean. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we rented a vehicle and had a horrible experience. The rental car company will be reviewed separately as it is not a part of the negative experience. The rental car center is about 1/2 mile away from the terminal. THERE IS NO RENTAL CAR SHUTTLE OPERATING. You will need to get your baggage, and then walk all the way to the rental car center in the outside heat. When we arrived, it was about 98 degrees outside and it was absolutely humid and hot. That walk to the rental car center was HORRIBLE. On the way back, after dropping off the rental car, it was 90 degrees. We took the 0.6 mile trek back in to the terminal from the rental car center. It was horrible as well. The highlight of this trip was not only the horrible long walk, but the TSA taking 22 minutes to screen my husband's backpack. The kid was searching forever and ever for some item even though we told him what we thought it was. Anyway, he found it and it was basically an enforcement challenge coin. We feel safer knowing that he's checking everything but the wait was ridiculous. And....WE ARE TSA PRECHECK so it was interesting because we BOTH got flagged to secondary processing. I did have an unopened water bottle in one of my bags, so that was totally on me.
