If you drive the 91 between Riverside and Yorba Linda, there is a long stretch with no Superchargers at all. Your only options are Canyon Springs to the east or Anaheim Hills to the west, each about 15 to 30 minutes away depending on traffic. The downtown Riverside Supercharger helps fill that gap, but during the holiday season the parking structure is charging a 20 dollar entry fee because of nearby Christmas events, even though a sign says Tesla drivers get 90 minutes free. If your battery is low and you cannot reach Canyon Springs or Anaheim Hills, you are forced to pay it. This part of the 91 needs more Superchargers so drivers are not stuck choosing between long detours and/or surprise fees. Hopefully Tesla can alleviate this area. read more

Talk about roasting! Top level charging... I dunno what's worse... Car bake charging or no reception charging in the shade. Maybe in Riverside... at 96 degrees outside on the roof level... with a glass top roof... the later is better. With the AC blasting, it's was not horrible... but Geezy, that heat tho! This turtle has acclimated to the cooler SD weather! There was plenty of open charging spots surprisingly and it's was a busy location which is great! There were cars consistently coming and going. But no was ever waiting for a spot to open which is what we typically see at the supercharger stations. Location was easy to find and it never packed out. read more

This chargers are right in downtown Riverside on the top floor of the parking garage. There are two chargers in the first floor also. I often come for walks here so it's barely out of the way to come here for me. It makes charging super easy as a result. There are restaurants and coffee shops (Arcade coffee roasters, Dripp, Molinos, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Back to the Grind) around if you need to kill some time. I tried it on an older model S with free super charging so I can't speak to the cost of this location but there are plenty of open stalls whenever I come visit after work. read more

This charging station has been down for months and there does not seem to be any means to get hold of anyone to come fix it. Those of us that live near downtown Riverside and have Teslas now have to go 20-40 minutes in any given direction to charge up. That means we can never head out in to the world in our cars with a full charge! I'm waiting on my hybrid to be ready for pickup - someone ran a stop sign and hit it. Then I'm getting rid of the Tesla. I thought the model 3 got well mid 300's on a charge. Nope! Maybe 200 - claims to get 265 at full charge... My hybrid gets 51 mpg and can go 520 - 600 miles on 10.5 gallons of gas mixed with the self recharging hybrid system. read more

Had to stop by when visiting family. There is a few shops nearby. I stopped by "The Donut Bar Riverside" for a coffee and quick snack while charging. They do have a restroom here as well. First 1.5 hours were free parking here. So no validation needed for the parking ticket. read more

This supercharger is on the top of a parking garage. There were only 2 other cars charging when we stopped by on a Saturday evening around 9pm. All 24 chargers are the back-in style and our charging speed never went over 210mph (I even tried moving to a different charger). As we were leaving, I noticed 2 Tesla charging spots on the ground floor near the monthly pass exit. I'm not sure if those are superchargers or slower chargers, but they looked just like the ones upstairs. read more

Finally a new Tesla Supercharging station in the Inland Empire. This charging station is huge! 24 charrging stalls, maybe one of the largest in SoCal. It is located at the top floor of the parking garage and there are a few good places to eat within 25 feet downstairs. Many Model S are charging here now, like mine, but I am sure this size of a charging station is built for the thousands and thousands of new Model 3's coming out of production. read more

This Tesla Supercharger receives a 4 star for its slower charging and poorly marked signage directing you to the charger. It's very hard to find unless you've been to it before. Some chargers were making poor connections and stopping charging mid session. I think Supercharger locations need better marked signage especially at night. read more

No one is ever here, which is great. These are 'urban chargers' which means they are limited to 75kw, but all of them are the same speed regardless who's plugged in next to you. Head to the top level of the parking structure. Plenty of good restaurants in the area, or head out the back staircase and the walkway to the left is nice and scenic. Fairly safe area. read more

This "Supercharger" is ridiculous. My battery is at 60% of capacity now and it is charging at 26 kilowatts, 90 miles per hour. It's supposed to have 72 kilowatt maximum charge ability and it used to charge at 240 per hour or more when it was this depleted, but not for the last several months. read more

Have family that live in Riverside.....my husband and I live in Henderson, NV. We decided to take our Tesla because we can now charge multiple places on the trip down, as well as making sure we're okay by charging in Riverside, as we do use the car there as well. We have charged in Riverside twice already with no big issue....until this past weekend. Riverside closed??? Don't know the reason and don't know if it's even gone completely! What a horrible crimp in our decision!! It would be like driving a gas car down and finding out that the whole city has all gas stations closed or is out of gas and you're almost on empty! My husband had to go to Ranch Cucamonga and wait for a spot to charge.....taking about 3 hrs out of his morning instead of about 1 hour had it been in Riverside! Like I said, don't know why......but I have never been so irritated. Makes you wonder if you happen to be on a long distance trip and need to charge only to find the charge station closed and iffy on getting to another.......??? read more
