So incredibly happy! I brought my (not so expensive or well made) boots for an assessment / repair, and the owner was honest and upfront about the cost and about how long the repair would hold given the make and materials of the boots. When I decided to have them repaired (the soles had come unglued), it was about a week or so turnaround, and they now look like nothing ever happened to them! Voila, shoe magic! Don't take your shoes to anyone else in this town because, if you do, you may get someone (like I did) who, within five seconds of looking, flat out tells you to forget about it... not going to name names, but if you know you know. I appreciate that Tesone's not only completed the repair (and excellently so), but that they gave me a few minutes of their time to patiently examine and explain my options. All of that to say, I'll be returning when my next repair comes up - and it will... I hate to waste shoes, when I can fix and keep wearing. If you're like me, now you know where to go! read more

Update: It was claimed that the price was on the ticket stub, but it is hard to prove as it was kept when the shoes were picked up. Cost aside, how hard is it to run a pair of shoes over the buffer as a good business move when you charge for something that must have taken less than 10 minutes to do. I brought in a pair of boots the other day to get repaired as the sole was coming off. The woman in the front brings them to the back and comes back out and says he doesn't want to fix them, not that he can't, he doesn't WANT to. Not very good business in my opinion. read more

I was so surprised to see the negative reviews! I have been bringing all my repairs to Tesone's for years, i.e., belts, shoes, boots and suitcases to have wheels put on. They have done excellent jobs on all of these things. I actually wonder what I will do when they retire. I have a pair of $250 Redwing boots that I wanted cleaned, polished and new laces put on. I brought them in on Tuesday and they said they won't be ready until Saturday morning. So Saturday he opens the bag and they aren't touched. Why would they put the shoes in the bag if the work wasn't done? So then he tells me if I wait for them to do the work it will only take ten minutes?? But really, he just sprayed some cleaner on them and it took 4 minutes, and he didn't even put the laces on ! Then he wanted $15 !! I felt absolutely ripped off. I felt little to no value going to this place. Why would they need by shoes for 5 days and STILL not have the work done which literally took 4 minutes? I wanted them to take special time and work on restoring the boots as best that they could. How could they do that in 4 minutes? It's sad because they just lost all my future business over a shoeshine. read more

Took my boots in to them in March 2014. Called them about once a month, not done in Octoner when I called they were to busy to talk to me said they would call right back. Two days later they called an said they were done. Five days later I picked them up paid the other half of my $105.00. They are fixed not pretty but fixed, they also dyed them back to look new. Lol NOT! They were suppose to clean they on the fur never touched.. Will never talk shoes or boots there again! Was hoping to give them 3 more pairs of boots.....NOT. BEWARE read more

I took a pair of my granddaughter's Ugg boots there to be cleaned, as winter had gotten them quite dirty. Tesone's was able to clean them, and also redyed them, which I did not realize they would do. The boots looked as great as the day the were bought! They looked absolutely brand new, (pink suede boots)! The charge was only $33.00 and they did a lot of really great work.
