There were a variety of different earrings I could choose from that ranged from $30-$60. Mine were $50/each--which I felt like was comparable to other places and was a fair price. Beth was very thorough with disinfecting my ear and was patient with me. I got a little light headed since I'm not good with needles and she was very understanding. Not only was our artist, Diana friendly, but everyone working here is. I spent several hours here, over 2 days, and actually enjoyed myself. All of the artists/employees were very down to earth and easy to spend that much time with. That's important if you're going to be there awhile. The environment is very clean, with an almost antiseptic smell (which is a good thing), all tools were sterilized, and gloves were worn. I'm sure there are a lot of other measure taken for our safety, but that's what I noticed, and that's what I want to see when someone's sticking needles into me. My experience with Diana was fantastic. She's an amazing artist. We came in with ideas, and she took it to a level we didn't think of. The design is better than we imagined. I've had tattoos before, but I'm not an expert, so all I can say is that it felt like getting a tattoo should, and it's healing normally, and looking as I expect it to look at this stage. So no complaints at all. She was very easy to work with, understanding that I was sometimes holding an uncomfortable position for awhile, and very positive. I was directed to the website where it was easy to arrange an appointment, and that appointment happened to be with the owner of the establishment. Once I got there for my appointment, I was in awe of the interior decor as well, which was really nicely decorated and had a very cool indoor plant garden, of sorts. I was greeted very professionally, and then was shown all the options available for my dermal piercing, which was fantastic! I didn't realize I would be given such a massive selection to choose from, which got me really giggity lol. It took me a few minutes, but I made my selection and then proceeded to wait in the lobby until I was called. It was there that I became more in awe- especially after seeing his pressed penny machine. I have literally never walked by a pressed penny machine without choosing to partake, so that was RAAAAD! Now, I don't want to think about my age hahaaa but it's been at least 20 years since my last piercing. This shop is clean, the artists are wonderful and knowledgeable and very helpful. If this is your first tattoo, be realistic and don't ask for knuckles, hands, face or head (job stoppers). Tattoos take a few hours and whether the artist charges by the hour or by the piece, respect that the price is the price. Don't haggle, it's offensive to the artist. If you want a quality tattoo you can be proud of, then know it's about $100-$150 an hour, and don't forget to tip. If you don't have the time or the money, then don't get tattooed, and don't go to someone willing to do less. Tattoos are pretty permanent, don't get something you'll just have to cover up later. Style here is traditional and neo-traditional, and artists are genuinely some of the best in the city. Check them out.
