There are cubbies and a coat rack for your belongings and two unisex restrooms just outside the yoga studio. A couple hours prior to class I stopped by and met one of the Center's managers, Rebecca (very sweet) was hosting an open house for expectant moms featuring all they offer in prenatal and postpartum yoga classes, wellness treatments and support. Medicine Wheel also offers physical therapy, acupuncture, massage therapy, Spiritual direction and other fitness training classes. They have essential oils and treatments and other health supplements and yoga equipment for purchase. My instructor, Ari, was so gifted and exuded such peaceful energy i immediately felt at ease and welcomed. She asked from the elements which I'd most benefit and I chose Earth to get some practice grounding and balancing. She did a super job of leading us through the breathing and poses, encouraging us throughout the Hour whenever our bodies were not cooperating. At the end of shavasana she gave us a brief and gentle foot massage which was heavenly!! It can be intimidating going to a new studio but Medicine Wheel's staff and facilities are inviting, energizing and comforting, too. This is truly a healing space!! I had severe disc damage at L5/S1, the inflammation made the sciatic nerve extremely irritated and painful. I couldn't be on my feet for more than a couple minutes, I couldn't sit and for days I wasn't able to sleep for more than 20 -30 minutes at the time. The pain would wake me up. Dry needling brought the inflammation down immediately. After two sections, I was sleeping better, walking and started riding my mountain bike again. After jumping off a truck…read moreand then having a dog trip you and hearing something but still running until your knee gives out is not the great plan. We had a nurse with us and she said just rest it will be fine, well after a week of rest in the middle of the wilderness. We called it, to the ER we went to, they were super sweet and not busy as it was summer and their super busy time is the winter when everyone is skiing. They did an x-ray and MRI and confirmed that it was in fact torn in many places. They gave me painkillers as well as a knee brace that was from my thie to my ankle with some crunches. They said to go see an orthopedic doctor, well that doctor was out till mid-August. I was able to hop around until I went home and my ortho looked at it. It by that point started to heal and he was like your young and if it not bothering you then at least see what PT can do too. I am now 26 and my knee is fine nothing to complain about. For nurses yes you are very wise but also know when to encourage people to go get things checked out. I think she was worried because she was the owner of the dog that tripped me by running up behind me and taking my knee out. Because of the location that were were at they had all the high-end medical tools for a knee injury.

Exceptional and unreal experience!…read more In Aug 2017 after traveling through Yellowstone and Grand Teton parks I happened to get admitted to St John's Medical Center, Jackson Hole WY with a bad foot infection. The care I received there was absolutely exceptional! Thank you very much Dr. Bullington, Dr. Greenbaum, Dr. Turner, Registered Nurses Laura, Deisy, Karen, Hanna, Kimberly, David, Charge Nurse Jen, and all the staff of this wonderful hospital! More details: ER: After zero wait time I was checked by RN and few min later Dr. J. Greenbaum examined my foot, diagnosed infectious inflammation, took culture samples, and ordered an immediate infusion of antibiotics which was started right away. In a little while orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Bullington examined the foot, opened up the abscess locally, and cleaned it out. Then I was transferred to Primary Care Unit. Primary Care Unit: From the moment I was transferred I received not only exceptional attention and care from all the nurses, but also a very warm, kind, and sincere attitude like I was their relative! It was unbelievable! And I'm actually glad I had an opportunity to meet such wonderful people! While doing their job they didn't rush and still found time to talk to me, to check if I needed anything, and to help keeping me comfortable and sleeping well. And Charge Nurse Jennifer was really in charge and on top of things. Dr. Bullington visited me daily to follow up on the healing progress even though it was a weekend and he wasn't working. Dr. Turner attended last two days of my stay and ensured smooth discharge and clear instructions on next steps. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. Food was a restaurant grade with variety and quality you would never expect in a hospital. Thank you all for such an experience!

I can't compare this to any other emergency room visit since I've never had that need before. But in the pantheon of my medical visits over the years, this has to be one of the very best of all experiences. From check in to the fantastic nurse to the great care from the doctor, who both prescribed for my immediate needs and gave me specific follow up on how to obtain testing results he was having conducted that day and urging me to follow up with my primary care doctor immedicately on my return home, which was expediated as a result of this, I felt well cared for by top notch professionals. Hopefully you aren't reading this Yelp review in Jackson because you are in need of emergency care. But if you are I add my five star experience to Brandi S's FTR of the same.
