This place seemed to have it all, a friendly waitress lured us in having a chat with us and saying that if we ordered two mains, we got a free starter. AND there was discounts on cocktails. Perfect.
It did not live up to the expectations. The nachos, admittedly LOADED with toppings, were a tiny portion and were only about 10 on the plate.
Mains were divided. I had fajitas. A classic, and it didn't disappoint. Came complete with a whole little plate of various toppings including extra peppers to spice it up. My companions RARE steak however, was barely even pink, and certainly had no blood in it what so ever.. Which I'm pretty sure constitutes as a medium, if not medium well. We told the waiter and he offered to cook a new one. We were off to the cinema so didn't have time really and my companion ended up helping me with the fajitas - pretty huge portion to be honest. The waiter offered a free cocktail to compensate. Fair call. And exactly what should be done, I think. This would all have been amicable, had the waiter not be chewing food while talking to us!? And looking over, his fellow waitress was too. And I have a horrible sneaking suspicion that it was the sent back steak that they were munching on!
We did not stay for dessert.
Upon leaving, we saw a new display had appeared in the doorway of the special of the day - 'steak salad'. In case you think to try it, I will warn you that it looked more like 'burnt tyre rubber salad' read more
