Airstream of Utah were the only folks who were able to set a date when I was traveling through for me to stop by and have someone look at the problem. Merquis and Eric were not only super cool amigos but also a couple of professionals. 30 minutes later, my outside river issue was solved. We were quite disappointed with the Customer Service from the Service Department at Airstream of…read moreUtah in Salt Lake City. We needed an emergency repair/replacement to one awning arm. That's it. That's all we really needed. The scheduler immediately said that she doubted they could do anything because any parts for an awning take 2 months to arrive and then an undetermined amount of time to schedule the repair with an unknown time to actually perform the repair. However, when I went online to try to order the part myself, I found that the part could be ordered immediately and sent overnight! So, the scheduler never even checked for me. She also said that someone had looked at the trailer and the only option was to completely remove it. It seemed odd that anyone would go look at the trailer without taking the owner with him/her to explain what was actually being requested. Upon inquiring how long it would take to remove the awning, the answer was basically the same. The first appointment was one week in the future just to drop off the trailer, but no estimate of when they could actually work on it or how long it would take or how much it would cost. Frankly, she made it clear that Airstream of Utah was not interested in even attempting to help figure out how to get me back on the road. The one positive part of the entire experience was from one of the sales representatives. I don't want to get that person in trouble so I will simply say that s/he evidently overheard the conversation with Service and made the effort to follow me outside to try to help direct me to a local RV repair facility that could likely be of some help.

BCC gave me the most detailed estimate out of 4 other body shops, broke down each charge, and even tried to save money by trying to find used fenders and other auto body parts to keep the cost low, especially since I was paying out of pocket. They kept to the amount of the estimate and now over 2 years later since the work was done, it's still in great shape. Hopefully, these kids stop hitting things with my cars, but when the next accident happens I won't waste my time getting other estimates and will just take my cars to Bountiful Collision Center.
