Given the weather, Monarch was able to come out the next day - Shane came himself to look at the leak from inside the house and attic as it was still not safe to go up on the roof in the weather. Then, 2 days later, they were able to get a crew out to inspect the roof and make the necessary repairs. Communication was a bit frustrating at times as the time table kept changing and we were running up against another round of multi-day rain chances, but it all got fixed in the end. We ended up replacing 9 rain collars and some roofing around my furnace vent, totaling $750. Seemed a bit steep, but when it comes to roof leaks and impending rain I didn't have much wiggle room to start over and get new quotes. I did appreciate that the crew doing the work took before and after pictures - that provided good peace of mind.

Their guys are go-getters, clean and respectful, hard workers - and the crew (photo) includes a gal, yes, up there hammering nails! As a female contractor myself, I appreciate that Greg had other jobs going on around the city but stopped by several times to be sure all was going well The team removed old shingles, replaced rotted decking, installed new shingles, ridge vents, gutter guards - all in one day (photo, mine's on the left) My neighbor had them do his roof too (no photo) and they were able to complete both in one day (each townhome is ¼ lot). As it fell dark there were a few things that didn't get completed, so, after having worked on other roofs all day, the team came back twice to finish those up. They did a good job cleaning up debris and nails, including from neighbors' properties The company uses some high-tech tools like drones to look at the roof. The day that my roof was installed all of their roofers took GREAT care in being sure that they covered the ground around my house with sheeting to pick up all of the shingles/nails etc. that might fall onto the ground. They knew that I had dogs and I was very concerned about nails being left on the grass/ground. When they were done my yards and back patio was cleaner when they left it. If it wasn't for the owner this company they would rate a five. I wouldn't use them or recommend them.
