We were in constant contact while waiting for approval from insurance. Inez was always at a quick reach and able to answer any of the crazy questions. Now once everything got started we met and spoke with Frank and he was so precise with everything measurement wise to answer questions as well. Once demo happened, it wasn't but a few days before cabinets started being put in. Thomas with a few others were the go to guys during that time. Let me just say every single person who walked through our door who worked with crafted kitchens were so professional and amazingly nice. It was like having buddies in your home working on your kitchen. Every day they left the area they worked on was cleaner than when they got there. When they said they were gonna be there, there were always a few mins early. They said something was gonna happen this day, it almost every time happened a little earlier. The smallest of details that most companies don't care about were put in to our new kitchen. I will be using them again for so much more in our home. We want to slowly remodel everything and I won't evey use anyone else. I seriously can not recommend a better company to work with. They seemed overwhelmed post Harvey. They didn't really monitor subs and had some serious quality…read moreissues. We ended up hiring someone else to finish up - we fired them as ineffective. Likely they took on too many jobs post flood, and customers paid the price. Some ridiculously sloppy work was done- they installed window sill trim upside down and doors opening the wrong way! Dry wall was bad, paint was terrible, any carpentry was poor, and exterior work was borderline negligent. They damaged some areas they (or unmanaged subs) should not have been working in. No issue with reaching them as noted - somehow whenever we called "we must have just missed them as they were there earlier". EVERY screwup was "punchlist", as in unfinished carpentry, paint peeling off the cabinets, cabinets not built to spec, 1 inch dry wall gaps around electrical boxes, doors only primed, not painted. Horrendous. We sat with Mr Lujohn to design cabinets, then they delivered generic builds without the features we requested. Poorly build cabinets never truly aligned, so the drawers stick. Note the lack of professionalism by noting first and last name in responding to the review - Yelp censors last name to an initial for a reason. Watch these guys, use them at your peril!

We never had one issue with our new roof and if we need to replace the roof at our new home, we would use them again. Justin was incredibly communicative and accommodating. He checked in before the crew started working and gave me his cell if I had any issues. I felt terrible bothering him, but we had these rose bushes in the front yard and there were a few shingles that had fallen on just one of the the multiple bushes. I just mentioned it to him and it was immediately gone (it wasn't a big deal and they were being as tidy as possible, but the bush was full bloom and I love roses so I wanted to keep as many flowers as possible!)! He didn't seem bothered or agitated and someone on the crew even apologized to me. I had two smaller kiddos I was concerned about them getting hurt after the replacement, but the crew did a great job keeping the mess as organized as possible and they even did a second check, we had no issues at all after the roof was finished being replaced. FairClaims did not accept or respond to that proposal at the time, the company ghosted me for over a year. The amount I offered would not even cover the cost of correcting the installation deficiencies & hiring qualified contractors to complete the outstanding work that FairClaims was paid to perform. FairClaims requested mediation, and I responded with a good-faith settlement proposal in the hope of resolving this matter. If Fairclaims Roofing / FCR Services is a honest company, they would want to do right thing, They would agree to a fair and reasonable settlement: 1) refund for work they failed to do and incorrect installation 2) cover all repairs and all outstanding work, however, based on the unreasonable settlement offer I recently received, I do not believe that their request for mediation was made in good faith to resolve this dispute, If this matter proceeds to litigation, when I am successful, I intend to seek all damages and remedies available under applicable law, including attorney's fees, costs, and any other relief authorized by law including RCAT and DTPA claims.
