If you need a PROFESSIONAL roofer I can recommend Shamrock Roofing based in Spring. I have used them twice. The first time was to replace a roof on a previous house. Great installation. Great experience. Many years after the sale of that house there was a minor issue and the new owner contacted Shamrock - and they honored their warranty fully even then. Recently I had a very bad experience with another roofer. Shamrock was able to come in and mitigate all the deficiencies and for a very reasonable price. Lots of supervision and communication. ****BANKRUPTCY FILLED - BEWARE**** We had them come out and replace our roof after a storm because they claimed we had roof damage even thou we could not see nor did they ever show us pictures of said damage. They came back after I was at work and talked my mom into giving them our insurance to file a claim promising to cover our deductible which was never done after we found out that was now illegal for roofers to do. Man in a shot out green pt cruiser. Our roof after 2 years is now leaking and causing all kinds of interior damage and they wont call us back to fix. We were skeptical after no longer seeing them at their address by mossy oak dr but they reassured us that everything was good and that they were honest. We researched them and found they have filled for bankruptcy! We spoke to the vendor who they used to get shingles from and they told us Shamrock Roofing scammed them out of thousands of dollars in supplies. The crew that they subcontracted had came to our house a week after they finished saying they had not gotten paid and wanted their money. Im guessing they paid or threatened them because they never came back. Needless to say, Shamrock Roofing and their owner Paul Martin are a bunch of storm chasing scam artists. Now I have a worthless roof and cannot sue because any money they get goes to the many people they scammed first! So much for a lifetime warranty. I should of looked at the negative reviews beforehand but this is still bad business. We worked hard to save money to replace our roof and ended up being scammed by these lowlifes. As a resident of Spring, our elected officials need to do better to keep these out of town scamsters from setting up shop and running off with our hard earned money. They think that they are home but their not, but that's were were going to send them. And i can bet money that they will say that this is a fake review just like every other bad review they have. The business' secretary called on Monday to say the roofing supplies would be delivered Tuesday morning. Imagine my surprise when I looked outside at 0640 and saw a full crew starting to lay tarps down around the house and putting up ladders. The work went on all day at a very fast pace. An area of siding that needed replacing and painting was dealt with very effectively. I provided the paint formula and the manager was able to get perfectly matching paint with no difficulty. All the work was completed by 1730 on the same day. One negative, the foreman asked if they could remove an unused satellite dish from the roof. I said, of course. But they did not remove the old satellite dish, it's still on the roof. I mean, why offer to perform a service, then not do it? Still puzzled about why they left the defunct satellite dish in place. The workers also broke both a bird bath and a bird feeder. Not a huge deal, but no one mentioned it and I discovered the pieces of both items had been placed surreptitiously in the garbage can. The roof looks good, as does the area where the siding was applied. As far as cost, I'm not sure if I got a good deal or not - I didn't bother to get any other quotes and that's on me. All in all, it was a speedily completed project and I am grateful that the roof is fixed and hopefully watertight. read more

I contacted Shamrock Roofing about a small roof repair on a rental house I own. They are local (2 miles away) so I hoped this would be a simple repair job. Roof had less than a dozen shingles that needed to be replaced all in one area due to a wind storm. I had already had my insurance adjuster out to verify damage was just in that one area. I was very clear that is all that I was looking for. I initialled called and discussed on May 11th. They said they would have a salesman contact me to setup an appointment for a quote. Salesman called and we discussed what I was looking for. Appointment was set for May 17th. I received no quote nor a phone call. I called back on May 24th to inquire. They promised to get back to me that same day. The next day salesperson calls and says wind damage for complete roof and my insurance will cover. I remind him again I'll already had my insurance company inspect and to please provide a quote of just the small repair. He sends me a quote on May 26th for entire roof replacement. So If you want to pick a roofer that listens to you, don't select Shamrock. read more

I could not be happier with the quality of the work and the professionalism of everyone I dealt with at the company, from Steve the salesman to Jose the foreman of the roofing crew. They were extremely competent and very responsive to my questions and concerns, and did a fantastic job, with great communication throughout the project. They showed up when they said they would, performed the work in a high quality manner, explained what they were doing and what needed to be changed during the project, and cleaned everything up when they were done. They offered a great price, and when it turned out they underestimated the size of my roof when providing me the initial quote, they agreed to honor the original quote without me even asking. Unprofessional,sloppy work,zero Customer service.A nightmare from beginning to end,a year and a half later! They lost the insurance check twice,then accused ME of keeping the $$ and threatened legal action. The owner Paul has some nerve,and not even an apology for being COMPLETELY WRONG.
