Dr. Matt's bedside manner is perfect (my teeth are borderline unbearable and I'm an antsy one in the dentist's chair). I've gone for cleanings, fillings, and once for an abscess tooth with my life on the line (kidding, but kinda' not)-- all handled brilliantly and with minimal tears. Thankfully, the staff at this particular office make me hate dental visits a whole lot less. And that's saying a lot. They take care of me like I'm a 5 year old, and I love them for that. During my visit, Dr. Davis attempted to have an inexperienced technician handle the preparation for my crown, which could have led to serious errors in my dental work. Due to the lack of transparency and the subpar care I received, I would not recommend Dr. Davis to anyone seeking reliable dental treatment.

Even so, I happily travel back to Texas City because Dr. Bove and his staff are absolutely extraordinary. To fit my tight travel schedule, Dr. Bove booked my major, time-intensive procedure on a Friday. Since the office is normally closed that day and kept strictly as an "available by appointment" day, I was incredibly grateful that they opened the building specifically to accommodate my workload and timeline. Every employee here is remarkably patient, personable, and greets you with a massive smile from the front door to the exit. I plan to work PRN at Disney World by Q2 2027 once my travels wind down, but Dr. Bove's team provides the real magic. 10/10 recommendation!

I don't think I have ever experienced such excellent, quality dentistry...and I have had a huge amount done including root canals, implants, veneers and Invisalign. I only wish I'd had Dr. Bove for all my previous work. the crown he put in looks so much better than my last provider did just a bit over 2 years ago (it had never felt or looked right and previous dentist just kept saying it was fine). All of the techs and hygienists at Bayview are fantastic too. The front staff is welcoming and I feel like I'm a valued customer every time I am there. We did try 2 other high rated dentists in the area before we found Dr. Bove. 1 completely bilked us on my husbands crown which failed in less than an year and the other was just plain rude and uncaring. I can tell you those big chains will bilk you every time. I cannot say enough great things about Bayview Dental. It's a further drive for us than many others but I would drive over an hour for this kind of superior care every time.

To tell the truth the last few times I've been in there for cleanings, I have only received cleaning and polishings but no fluoride rinses. I thought maybe cleanings do not require this but everyone else I have asked says that their hygienists do blast their teeth with fluoride, clean their gums with the dental tool and floss and polish their teeth, With that said, I still wanted to remain with this dentist because I really liked him. Currently, I am working long hours and was happy to know that Dr. Moore still has Friday appointments. I am off only every other Friday and she said that every other Friday was booked up until June 27, 2014 and so I set an appointment for then. I called them again on Thursday because I thought maybe I could get an early Thursday morning appointment the following week but the receptionist said they would be able to work me in at 11 am this Friday. I had an appointment with my husband a block away and said okay to this only because she said you will have to wait long awhile to be seen as we will work you in. When I got there at 11:10am( and I am one to be very punctual, if it was an appointment) no one was in the waiting room actually the office was pretty empty and I was told by my hygienist that I was 15 minutes late...(no, I looked at the clock in their office and saw that it was 11:13 AM ) and that I will have to reschedule my appointment Now this is a waaay over due cleaning and it has been hard for me to take time off to get this appointment. When I told them this was not an appointment and that the receptionist told me that but that it was a work in sort of thing, The hygienist nodded their head and said "It was! (and appointment)" I don't know if the hygienist thought I was lying... and heard this all before BUT I WAS NOT LYING! and it was said with a quick snippy tone. I told her I would call and try an get an appointment later.... I walked out then came back and said " I think I need to find a dentist that has Friday hrs because I do work crazy shifts " The hygenist quickly opened an available slot two weeks from today. She mentioned that the office is opened on Fridays evey other Friday. Well that is funny because the receptionist said they are all booked up on Fridays until June 27 and I had mentioned to her that I can only come in to see the doctor every other Friday. She gave me some water and I left feeling I was patronized.. So either the receptionist is giving me the run around or I am just not really wanted as a customer. When I started thinking about everything, I am a customer and I should take my services elsewhere. I called to cancel the appointment that had miraclously opened up for April 25th and the receptionist said, "We can send you your files! We will send you your files!," in a hurried voice. No one can hear what was happening on the other end; so she made me come off seemingly crazy. What I was asking her on the other end was why didn't she speak up and tell the hygienist that she said they would work me in and it was not an appointment? Is it because YOU were afraid to get in trouble?, that is what I thought I should have asked her that. I don't want someone giving me the run around when scheduling appoints only to get the hygienist upset with me before they work on my mouth. The receptionist is a kid and very unprofessional; she needs customer service classes because putting a patient on hold and telling them that the dentist is all booked up and then when the patient comes in to the waiting room, they can hear crickets chirping doesnt add up) How about the senior staff believing your patient, giving them the benefit of the doubt and helping them to remain your patient! I know I am just one patient and they probably didn't need my business I suppose

Great pediatric dentist!!…read more My 18 month old's first dentist visit went very smooth. The waiting room and staff was very nice and helpful. there is a very nice and cool playroom. I love the themes in the office and so did my daughter. She was very relaxed and it went very well. (We did practice beofre which i think helped a lot) the dentist and assistant were awesome with children.
