Money Over Customer Care, Extremely Upsetting Experience. I provided new insurance details as requested and had my appointment scheduled a week prior, on my appointment day I'm told I'm put in as self pay and it would be $600 for the visit. Rather than informing me that the insurance was not in their network and considering the drive and time taken out from my plans I was placed as "self pay" after providing details.. And!!! They also called a day before to tell me to pickup and take a prescription for my appointment date but completely left out details about the insurance I provided not covering my visit. These people are always a problem; it takes multiply calls for your prescription refills it's always someone else's job they never answer the phone, and you have to leave a message. even when you request it they do not call back and it's the same thing for the pharmacy as well. You would think management would read these issues and truly be concerned. Hard to believe they pay no attention it's systemic. And if it's a Friday....FORGET IT!! Dr. Rittenhouse is awful. Do not go here. I was scheduled for a 10:10AM appointment. Arrived early as asked at 9:50AM. Checked in and then left in a room to wait for almost an hour and a half. When Rittenhouse walks in, I bring this up and say how unprofessional it is. He then immediately becomes aggressive and rude. This guy obviously thinks he's above accountability and tells me I am free to go somewhere else. No courtesy, no apologies for wasting my time. I proceeded to let him know what I thought about him and left. DO NOT GO HERE! Awful service and the doctor doesn't care about you or your time. If they are going to ask you to be there early and sign a form agreeing to be fined $50 if you are late or reschedule, then they need to at least see patients in a timely manner themselves. read more

The doctors never call back, cancel appointments an procedures. My husband had a problem after a procedure and had to go to the ER. When we called to talk to a doctor, they would not call back and give us any direction on what to do next. We do NOT recommend this group!!!!!!!!!! read more

This is the absolute worst ever. My mom needed a shot for a UTI. We asked if home health could give this shot and they said yes. Gave them the name and number of a speciality pharmacy that would have this shot. Been trying since Friday April 12 to get someone to call me because pharmacy still doesn't have the prescription and no one will call me. I've even spoken to the office manager who was of no help. Apparently they can't be bothered to return calls. The pharmacy even called them to try and help us. You guessed it they won't return their call either. Things went down hill when Dr. Parham left. My mom will never return. I advise you from using them. Dr Keith you need a better nurse. She is horrible. read more

This place is a joke. Don't go there If you love your family member! My mom was referred to the wrong doctor, we drove all the way from mansfield. And they checked us in, asked us to pay in advance. We go to the back and their PA comes in and tells us there was a mix up and we in fact don't need to see anyone there. No service provided. Just someone coming in to tell us we were referred incorrectly. So we call to ask for a refund of the almost 200.00 they charged and the PA tells the person on the phone we saw the PA even if it was her telling us we were referred incorrectly and we couldn't be refunded. Talk about the worst medical office in Texas. The office staff is clueless. I feel bad for the doctors and PAs that have to work with this staff. They have no idea what they're doing and I've shown up to get multiple x-rays without the x-rays being ordered by the doctors office. After a mediocre initial consult several months ago with symptoms only being exacerbated, along with a horrendous experience with a certain scheduling/receptionist who has no business in customer service, much less healthcare, we were quickly losing faith in Texas Center for Urology.  That all changed this morning after a visit with Keith DeSonier, PA-C. Mr. DeSonier is a true asset to the organization, and the saving grace of the office.  He listened before speaking, took the time to understand the frustrations, and took action seeking resolution to the condition.  Although we did not leave with answers today, we left with a plan, and the comfort in knowing that we were in good hands.  Thank you, Keith. read more

Don't go there! They don't return calls. They don't care! I was scheduled to do a procedure. I was greeted by a young lady that explained the procedure asked if I had questions. Proceeded to strap me in and begin the process I asked who's performing she said she was. I saw tattoos nose ring in dread locks. I said how long have you being doing the procedure she said oh I have done many I said no how long she said a month. Dr. Young could have at least introduced me to the lady. I like to go to people who have years of experience. After the procedure I asked why I was burning and hurting so much she asked if I took the antibiotics. What ? She said she called the pharmacy on Friday and I was supposed to take it the night before the procedure. she said the pharmacy was supposed to call me. I said what pharmacy she said Walgreen I said I do walmart. I told her , she or the nurse here should have called me and asked me what pharmacy I prefer and let me know what I had to do before the surgery. She said it's ok you will be alright. She then gave me something out of her cabinet. Where is the professionalism, and care not at this place. I could maybe understand if it was a free or charity facility, but I paid $500+ dollars when I first came into the office. read more

Texas Center for Urology would not accept my husband for a UTI exam because he did not have a primary care doctor (and therefore had no referral), even though he is in a lot of pain and needs to be seen immediately. When I asked them to give us the name of a primary care doctor that could see him and provide the referral, they directed us to the emergency room. My husband dos not have insurance and pays for all health care out of pocket. This was a ridiculous, expensive, and unprofessional suggestion. I do not recommend this group; perhaps the doctors are fine, but the staff fielding appointment calls are highly unprofessional, unhelpful, and not knowledgeable or empathetic. read more

They did a blatter check up on. After 24 hrs. had a infection. Went in the following Monday to leave a sample. By Thursday had not heard for anyone about my test. Had to see my primer care Doctor. Checked my sample and said I had an infection. Got two antibocs. Would not use these Doctors to treat my dog read more

I have been a patient here for a little over 3 months now. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of The PA Keith and Dr. Young. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with a Chronic painful bladder syndrome with not cure available. I have done everything that has been asked of me and as time has gone by Iv had to come in follow up appts, bladder instillations weekly and 2pre op appts. None of which is my fault. Every time I've come in several staff members have treated me with bad attitudes, irritable and just did not have the time. Not real sure how a office is allowed to have that much unprofessionalism and high school girl attitudes and get away with it. I had an issue and took it to the Clinical manger which handled the situation. I was in the next Friday for a follow up appt and as I was leaving my room I was met with the girl from the previous week standing at The Nurses station which gave me the rudest, intimidating and child like stair I've ever seen from a "professional" Behavior was more along the lines of High school maturity level. Fast forward to a week later and I'm scheduled the very next day for surgery. I was referred to a pain specialist and when I called and spoke to Dr. Young's MA letting her know that they would not see me she then was so rude that when I got off the phone my 11 year old little boy in he backseat said "Mommy who was that she was mean" At this point I've decided it's best for me to cancel surgery and go else where. I shared my humiliation about having to come in so often with The Pa Keith and he told me "Never to be embarrassed because I was seeking help" Not real sure what the issue is but unfortunately At This point I'm done! I hate to leave Dr. Young and The Pa Keith but I think I would rather drink bleach that continually put myself through that type of judgement or humiliation on a weekly basis as Yes Right now I'm getting bladder instillations so it isThanks But No thanks!!! read more

Very poor office the staff is rude and very uncaring. They called us I was in the office and he stepped out to the car for a sec. They made us wait another 1/2 hour. The dr was already running an hour behind. You talk to them they are snobby read more

I have been a patient for about a year. I had an 11am appointment scheduled over 6 months in advance. I showed up at 10:40 to check in and was instantly told that the doctor was 45-60min behind but that he was trying to catch up so hopefully it wouldn't take that long. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour before finally asking the front desk when I could expect to be called back. She was apologetic and assured me I was the next patient. About 15min later I was finally taken back where someone took my BP and weight. I was then taken to an exam room and told my doctor would be right in. After another 15min I asked the nurse if he would be in soon as I had already been waiting for 2 hours and did have other meetings today. She was again apologetic and said that he was still with another patient. She explained that he often was 1-2 hours behind. (I instantly think that if this is happening often that perhaps he should schedule more time per appointment). I explained that this was ridiculous and unacceptable and that I had other things to do with my day than just wait around for who knows how much longer. I ended up leaving (luckily got my copay refunded!) without ever seeing my doctor. All I needed was a scan reviewed that would have most likely taken 10min but instead I spent over 2 hours waiting for nothing. I will be searching for a new urologist and office now (wish I didn't have to, loved the doctor I met twice). I am a fellow healthcare professional and I felt very disrespected as a patient in this office. Bottom line, don't become a patient if you want your time respected and don't have all day to wait around for doctors who are continuously hours behind schedule. I'm only giving 2 stars because I appreciated the nurse being apologetic and upfront about what was going on once I was taken back and the office refunded by copay without question. read more
