They are abusing one of their USMD Urology consultants by scheduling me (a new patient, not sick) at 0930 on the Tuesday after the Memorial Day weekend. I'm a retired Family Practitioner who ran lots of offices and can't help watching how offices operate. When they hadn't called me by 10:30 (with a full bladder for over an hour), and seeing many (old male) patients come in with distress I asked them to reschedule me. The next available appointment was the day after the July 4th holiday! So this is not an isolated case. I told them no thanks.

I have complicated health issues and he's navigated around them without any issues and no secondary problems. His staff is courteous, prompt and helpful. I'm two days post-op now and in minimal pain he took great care of me once again. My wounds look great and inconspicuous in places where previous scars were. Extremely happy about that! Highly recommended, my previous surgery was 6 or so years ago and also no complaints or complications. That one was more intense. Same experience and why I came back to him.

He explained my PSA results, he did poke me rear and did whatever needed and although he found nothing concerning, he suggested a follow-up appointment after three months as a precaution. FAIR. I returned on August 27, and they drew blood for another PSA test. I began receiving repeated text reminders to schedule an appointment. On August 29, I called and spoke with Shree, requesting a copy of my test results so I could review them myself and be prepared for the appointment. She firmly stated that they do not provide reports. I explained that since I am paying for the test, I should be entitled to the results. Her response was that it was simply "not their policy." I called again on September 2 with the same request and received the same answer. While the doctors at this facility may be competent, I believe their policy is designed to keep patients coming back unnecessarily, like a revolving door, in order to maximize revenue. This leaves the impression that patients are being treated more as a source of income than as individuals receiving care. PATIENTS IN THIS FACILITY ARE USED AS MILKING COWS.
