They not only helped find a tenant, but Matt even went over to scrub the grout in my tiles to make sure it showed well. I lost my mailbox key and Matt helped coordinate a locksmith for my tenant. Upon moving in, EG had hired great repair guys that flipped all the apartments. It was an old place that desperately needed it. While I may have not gone the way about moving people out they way they did, I felt like it needed to happen. People had lived there for 8+ years but paying WAY below market prices - for crappy places but it needed the upgrade and I get the motive behind it. Those guys actually fixed issues and cared about the residents which was an added plus. They then fired those guys and hired one guy to "do it all" at all the properties, needless to say, it was a lesser level of care and it showed. I got my floor replaced and no joke, this dude left skid marks in my toilet and pee on the floor. It was disgusting. The property manager (KR) is rude and not willing to help if it requires any money out of the company's pocket (note: not hers). I understand people try to nickel and dime apartment complexes and property managers have to put up with a lot, however, asking how the problem was going to fixed and documenting the all money I paid out of pocket for damages from flooding it has caused me, she said: "what about all the money, it's caused the company???" She is a joke and her communication is so unprofessional, it's embarrassing. Anyway, there are serious, serious issues with MANY of those units. Before moving in 2 years ago, we were made aware by neighbors that the unit we'd be moving into (#107) floods. About 3 days before we moved in, there was a heavy rain and we popped over and literally saw INCHES of rain in this apartment. They cut out dry-wall and replaced a bunch of flooring/base boards, however, when we expressed concern, they told us everything had been fixed (including the flooding issue) and no issues would happen moving forward. We were concerned about the rain, mold, etc but were tight on time and moved in anyway. About a month in, it rained heavily and our apartment flooded - INCHES of rain again, I'm talking two bedrooms, in the hallway up to the living room and this time, #108, our neighbors were effected as well. They then installed sump pumps and a french drain that they swore would fix the issue. But they constantly didn't work due to electrical shorts and the mass amounts of rain from the roof/gutters that pour into the units patios. Needs a serious redirect. We continued to flood for the next two years that we lived there (yes, we should have left WAY SOONER!!) We would take pictures, videos, ask them to come out and check it out themselves and at times, I swear to you, they would tell me "there's been no evidence of flooding" though I have photo proof, the soaking towels and numerous calls to them at all hours. Many times, our items were damaged. They replaced SOME of the items but only cause we raised hell and they were big ticket items like a damaged bed, dresser, etc. After a couple bad rains in a row and the mass amounts of laundry, dirt, stress, and frustration, we asked for simple compensations ie. a house cleaner (your feet would be black if you walked around barefoot), laundry/utility money from all the towels we washed and electricity for large fans/blowers to dry-out our place and they refused or skirted around the issue and never wrote us back. Finally, we wised up and moved out after another terrible flood, #108 flooded into us due to pumps not working (ours and theirs) and then it started flooding from the ceiling down. So ceiling to floor flooding in #107 and given the history with them, I'm not sure they're looking to do a full reno. So bless whoever they sucker to move in there after us - and also try to make you pay the premium or market price (it's an awesome location but not for a flooding unit). They luckily let us out of our lease with no termination fees and said we were to receive our full deposit back due to all the "troubles." Well that was sort of true, they charged us with "cleaning fees" as we didn't leave appliances clean cause they weren't "affected by the rain water" so snaked us $75 from the deposit. Overall, unit #107 & #108 I know first hand flood, I also know there are anywhere from 2-3 more units that also flood and that's just the ones we know of, could be more. You shouldn't have to live in fear of rain or at least have a management company that can promise on safe living conditions. I would think hard about moving in here or find a second floor unit.

He showed us a dozen or so houses, even taking time to do so on the weekends, or whenever was convenient for us. There were a few times that we had limited time to see a house before they would stop taking offers, so Tim would even drive out to meet us on short notice. We were working with Tim at the start of the pandemic, so he even thought to bring masks and gloves for us during the open houses before that became standard practice. Kaillie was great too-- she kept us on track for all the paperwork and deadlines. I loved that she kept reminding us when it became urgent that we sign something, remit payment, secure insurance, do a rekey, etc. Beyond helping us find a home, Tim and Kaillie also made arrangements for us to close on the house remotely (we were in Florida when we closed on a house in Austin) by sending someone out to us to get the contract notarized. They also helped arrange an inspector and gave us referrals for a contractor and an interior designer. Alyssa Rome was the interior designer, by the way. She offers a walk-through special where you can ask for suggestions all throughout the house during a minimum hour-long session.
