She needed something, I never thought she would love cheer but she did/does the relationship that has been built is more like a family. So she was on a prep team (no skills) within 3-4 months she started getting skills from a back walkover, front walkover, valdez, back handspring all within her first year and now she is in her 3rd season with Warrior on the highest level team they have (3) she is now working on level 4 skills. I know alot had to do with her coaches, and she had to put in the work. The way they believe in her and motivate her and support her no words can be described. Now her coaches are at other gyms now but that's how it goes and we have Great new coaches that have joined who provide experience and who currently are cheering and competing themselves plus our athletic director is recognized in the nation so new bonds are being built. Tina does love the kids and it's all about them to have a successful season, learning and leveling up. You won't be disappointed if you join a team or a class but if you do join a team then be prepared to have a new family because that's how they treat you.

They charged my credit card on file three times without authorization, even after I raised the issue following the second occurrence. At the time, my account was already paid in full and should have never been charged again. The gym offered a credit, which I accepted at the time since I planned to use it toward an out of town competition. I did use part of the credit to cover that expense but continue with $245.50 as credit. (imagine how much I charged/stolen) After deciding to leave the gym for personal reasons, I requested a refund for the remaining balance. Which I don't believe should be an issue since it was THEIR mistake. Despite assurances from the owner that the matter would be handled, it has now been over three months with no resolution. I was removed from the team's communication group (which I get since we are no longer in the team) and my follow-up emails have gone unanswered. This review is based on my personal experience, but I also know I am not the only parent still waiting on money owed. Thankfully, my card on file was a credit card, and I will be contacting my bank to dispute the charges and filing a complaint regarding the unauthorized transactions. To new customers, keep a close eye on your account and do not allow repeated "mistakes" to slide (there's always an excuse). Most importantly, do not accept "credit" in place of a refund. Credit is not real money! out of the gym, it becomes worthless.

During this time, we volunteered and gave to the school as much as we were able because we wanted to support the community our children were in. Beginning in September of 2025, we began to have concerns about behaviors / conversations occurring and it continued throughout the school year. We always tried to be gentle and respectful when bringing these concerns to the attention of administrators. Finally, with two weeks of school left, we made the decision to completely withdraw and cancel the re-enrollment of both of our children after our safety concerns were met with a refusal for answers, zero accountability, hostility and even pitting families against one another. I won't claim to have handled this perfectly because there was so much frustration once we started being treated poorly simply for having concerns and being denied answers from individuals who our children were under the care of for 30+ hours per week. I explained many times that I did not expect personal information of any student, I just wanted clarification on policies, what behaviors would or would not be allowed, and how similar situations would be handled in the future. As a Christian Private School - which MPS claims to be - with so many children under their care, they are absolutely held to a higher standard and should be able to have hard conversations, be accountable, professional and respectful to ALL families - especially when it comes to the safety of their children. The repeated phrase of admin was that how we feel is not their responsibility and if we don't like it we can withdraw - which is exactly what we did. Added for perspective - I want to draw your attention to the laugh reactions on our reviews. These are from a current teacher at MPS (admin's mother) and the BIBLE teacher at MPS (admin's husband) - neither of which were involved with any of our communications. Sadly, it just continues to prove our point. If at the time you are ready this they are no longer there, it may be because they realized as much.

I'm so thankful for MPS and the love that's been poured into our son and his education. We weren't just seeking education for him when we found MPS. We wanted him to have the opportunity to thrive, contribute, and make a positive impact wherever he went - somewhere he could further his character and deepen his faith. This is one of the things going right in the curry of Milford! Here is what I learned... They have a 100% Graduation Rate! I could not believe it, so I started asking questions as to how they do that... It starts with attendance. These students come to class. At a 98% attendance rate, Milford's students are engaged and look forward to coming to class. They also maintain a 9 to 1 Student to Teacher Ratio. By keeping that ratio in check, teachers are able to spend the time with their students and become as engaged with them as the students are with them. This lends to having a lot of rude parents sitting parked in their cars on the streets, neighborhoods, and alleys blocking access and hindering progress for those of us that live in the area. Mornings, goodness, traffic is horrible. They also like to play some loud pounding music at zero dark early. They say it's to help motivate the kids, tho in the house in the neighborhood all we hear is the pounding bass becayse they have to turn it up to questionable volume levels. We've confronted them about in on a few occasions. The lower the volume for a bit, then it goes back to selfish mode where they don't have any consideration for the folks that live int he area. And these are the folks teaching the impressionable children.
