Ordered a 14 ft dump trailer after looking on line for a while. Called & talked to a sales rep (John Pate). Had my financing pre approved with Synchrony Bank. Called a told him what I wanted. He had one with an awning I didn't need so he removed the awning & upgraded to 14 ply tires for a great price. I pulled into their lot and in less than an hour I had signed paper work they had hooked up the trailer and tested lights and put tag & vin sticker on & I was ready to pull out. Got a better deal than any I found on line & trailer included spare tire & ramps. Definitely satisfied and would recommend them. Even got 2 nice caps with the trailer. read more

Very dissatisfied. I worked with Tyler in getting a quote for a 7k dump trailer in mid February. I received my quote and was ready to order with a pickup date in mid April in TN. Tyler advised me to wait a month so the trailer wasn't sitting in the yard for a month. He said to give him a call in a month. So it is now mid March and I give Tyler a call to move forward with the order. Tyler informs me the price has gone up approximately $300 and states his quote was only good for 7 DAYS. Did Tyler inform me of this when we talked in February, NO. Is $300 going to break me, no it is not. It is the principle that a company will not honor the pricing on a quote provided. And I get the seven day issue on pricing, but the company employee advised me to wait without pointing out the risk of a price increase. I would have gladly paid for the trailer in February. When I challenged Tyler to honor the pricing or I would shop else where, HE REPLIED GOODBYE. A company is only as good as its' reputation. PLEASE....Avoid the headache!! Sound like a broken record but people need to know....these trailers are shamefully bad on quality and craftsmanship. I ordered a 16k gooseneck rolloff system with 3 - 21 yard cans. Upon delivery one of the D-rings was busted. The dumpsters are delivered stacked inside each other. The busted D-ring was on the bottom can. So it was transported from Texas to Missouri this way....luckily no one died because this whole stack could have rolled off the trailer on the highway. Other issues, keep in mind I've only had this since for 1 MONTH!!....Leaking hydraulic cylinder, crimped winch cable, thr busted D-ring mentioned, surface rust, cans dinged and dented before even using, hinges welded crooked so doors don't close properly, running paint everywhere, poor welds. I have had many different trailers over the years from various manufacturers. Texas pride talks a good game in advertising but their mouth does not match their product. DO NOT buy one of these. I know, maybe yours will be different is what's playing in your head....but what if it isn't? What if it's JUST like mine or the multiple other complaints from people with experiences just like mine? What you get after buying a $35,000, 40ft gooseneck hydraulic tilt deck Texas Pride Trailer? A repair bill for over 10k within a year to replace their junk knockoff axles, non stop issues with the hydrualic system leaking down overnight; brake issues from the cheap magnetos, and the license plate wouldn't even mount up due to poor craftsmanship, & no warranty to back anything up after they failed to fix the issues. After Texas Pride sent us to a repair facility chosen by them in OKC, the repair shop failed to properly fix our issues and caused us to fail an axle the next day stranding our guys on the side of the road by not tightening the spindle nut, then everyone played the blame game on who's gonna foot the bill for the new one. So we cut ties with the joke of a company "Texas Pride" and put brand new 15k Dexter axles under it, but stil l continue to fight the hydraulic issues. Just a quick glimpse of your future if you buy a Texas Pride trailer. The quality is pathetic & the warranty is even more of a disgrace to the name. Hello people, i have owned all the big name manufacturers, Lamar, Load trail, Big Tex. I must admit, we work our trailers hard every day. I wanted to try Texas Pride. I did not see it as a money saver per sey. The trailer looked cheaper than all the others, but I didn't want to judge a book it it's cover. The Load Trail out worked the beefier looking Lamar by far. My crew sent a pic of the D ring that ripped out of the floor. This has never ever ever ever happened to any trailer before. Paper thin floor, super wavy from less than 6 months of service. Call the warranty department, and they said it's being overloaded. None of the other trailers have this thin of a floor. I suspect this trailer will fall apart and leave me disappointed. So far, it has broken down and needed repair 1.5 years before any other trailer. Add $975.00 and 3 days out of service to the price I paid. No other manufacturer balked at any warranty claims. This was easy transaction, made an order for a dump trailer. Trailer was made and shipped out to California for us. Very good quality trailer and the staff in Texas (Derek) and in California (Sean) were great to deal with. Delivery at the Perris facility was great. Every trailer I've bought with these guys have the worst wheels and tires. have had a trailer where one side both wheel studs sheered off completely, tires splitting and brakes just horrible. all less than 15k miles on the trailers. I've had to buy tires for every trailer (three to be exact), 12 tires due to how bad they are. trailers are ok but tires are not safe. maybe I got a bad batch but three trailers bought on the same day all had crappy tires. read more

I shopped around for two years and settled on Texas Pride. I thought they were all about craftsmanship, integrity and pride. I was WRONG! The trailer was delivered with sand embedded in the paint from stem to stern. The lock for the tool chest was sand and painted closed. Took three times to get the right latch and lock and it was still the wrong one. Customer service and parts get an F- for their pitiful efforts. A month later two wheels on one side had broken lug studs due to being improperly sized and taper. Just prior to thanksgiving both hinges on the tilt deck that holds the deck onto the trailer ripped away with while driving with 12,000 pound tractor on it. I've called no less than 12 times and still, the Warranty and Chief Engineer Brad Walker. Despite messages left he has not returned my phone calls. Not one time in three weeks now. Due to their lack of action I was forced to pay for and ha e the repairs done by a local professional welder and Monster Truck engineer who repaired it and said "this is some of the worst, most unsafe welding and faulty design I've ever seen in thirty years". Perhaps the Company CEO and Owner will give a crap after reading this? This company should fire Mr Walker or change it's name to Texas Trash! Think I'm kidding? Check the welds in the pictures here. Only two lazy defective beads on two sides of each of the hinges holding it to the axle and frame! Little to zero burn in on the welds. This should have been welded on all four sides as well as top and bottom. Buy one of their trailers and you will get a dangerous hunk of garbage with zero customer service. read more

I have never given a review on anything, but i feel people should know what happened to me. I will never buy a trailer from these people again. I bought a custom trailer from them in the early 2000s and it was the best trailer you could ask for. Picked it up at the manufactures shook the hand of the owners and enjoyed an awesome trailer! Fast forward to December 2024. They built another custom trailer for me. It was built over Christmas and New Years holidays. Bad idea! I even joked about it to my business partners. When i picked the trailer up in Lebanon MO, The center axel was already loose and a tire was ruined from the tri[p from Texas. That should have been a warning! We have lost axels several times and finally figured out they used the wrong U bolts. the wiring was poorly connected and poorly routed. The D rings were welded to the thin metal on the side, rendering them useless. The welding on the flooring was insufficient, but the biggest issue was the bearings. All 6 bearings on these 9000 lb triple axels where never torqued so the bearings spun on the spindle. I found this when another axel came loose and i had to jack it up this time. I am only 3 months out of there 1 year warranty. So much for customers first. I have a piece of junk that is going to cost me thousands to fix. This is what happens when you expand and your quality goes down. I asked to speak to the owner but the rude lady told me "that's not going to happen! He doesn't take calls!" I finally got the Warranty big wig and he told me what i was seeing was normal! Be wary buyers... If you buy from these people check your purchase very closely! read more

I bought a brand new Texas pride trailer. The trailer had 3k miles on it before one of my axles went out. I had a load going to Texas so I swing by the manufacturer and explained the problem. The manger of the service department Jordan fixed the problem and gave me two new tires because they had worn out because of the axle issue. Yes I should have not had this problem with a new trailer but I am thankful they fixed the issue for free and tried to make the issue right. So five stars for the service. read more

Horrible quality. I wanted to start a hot shot business. I went out and bought a brand new ram 5500, outfitted it with an external gas tank and converted the back seats to a bed. I needed a good trailer. I looked around, everywhere was sold out. I went online and found Texas Pride. This is where my journey of pain began. I called and ordered a 36k GVWR 3 axle trailer, 3 12k axles. I thought this would be perfect. After about 3 months it was completed and I drove from Seattle to just north of Houston to pick it up from them. Immediately I should have known something was wrong when their wiring diagram they gave me was wrong for the 7 pin round plug. Anyhow I figured it out after a few hours of playing with it and hit the road. By that time I had my business all set up, insured etc. I found a load the following day from Houston back up to Seattle with one stop in Sacramento. The trailer made it to just past Sacramento until a axle bearing blew out. It was devastating. I had to pay thousands to get help on the side of the road. I contacted Texas Pride they shipped me a new axle hub. I was hoping it would be fixed. Nope, I kept blowing the Hubs despite checking oil levels multiple times per day, as they all leaked. On top of this, I had a total of 10 out of the 12 rims crack due to weight but I never got close to the 23,000lb limit on the trailer. It broke my spirit and sent me and my wife into financial ruin. I gave up and sold the trailer for half price. Take my advice. Spend more on a better trailer that uses QUALITY AXLES AND WHEELS NOT CHINESE CRAP. Go buy a PJ or a diamond C. Don't buy this crap. I selected bumper pull style and nothing but 5 wheel trailers kept showing up. I bought a 12 ft dump trailer a day or two later I went to hall some stuff in it it was weaving back and forth and the bolts were rubbing the tires. Causing us to crash I contacted the warranty and they said they were going to do nothing but I could send it to them and they would give me an estimate of what it would cost to get it fixed. Made my decision to go with Texas Pride to build my 20' Gooseneck Lowboy in June of this year, 2021. Emailed the sales rep several times these last 3 months with no word. Due date was 8/10, then 8/20 and find out they haven't even started building it!! Shouldn't take but 1 weeks to build a trailer at your facility. Well... My brother and i ordered 2-45' goosenecks and only had 2 requirements on the trailers. The deck height needed to be 32" or less and they had to weigh 6,000# +/- 500 (advertised at 5,750#). 10 days later, i stopped in to pick the trailers up and the deck height was 35" and after scaling them at the truck stop, found they were almost 10,000# each. With 3-7,000# axles, that didn't leave much room for freight. The trailer dog-tracked and two of the LED turn/marker lights were cracked and four of the hub caps were smashed. Completely useless.. 12 MO. UPDATE: To be completely honest, you get what you pay for. The trailers were painted very poorly. Within 6 months, the complete bottom side of the trailer is rust. The upside still looks decent because i buy black spray paint by the case and touch it up on a weekly basis. The wiring is crap. I've completely rewired the trailer and replaced their garbage LED package. Don't spend the money on the upgrade! Got an average of 30k miles out of the Korean tires. 50k on the trailer so far and i'm getting to the point where i'll need to do brakes and wheel bearings very soon. Pay the extra money for the upgraded axles (8 or 10k). read more

Junk. Bought a 5 car trailer in June of 2017. Has issues with trailer beginning October of 2017. So I started talking to the warranty rep and they sent out new parts. I installed them in November only to have them fail by January of 2018. I was told to bring the trailer back to have them fix it. Being that I'm over 1,000 mines away I paid to have it shipped back because they offered zero assistance. It sat there a little over 4 months!!!! Every time I called I got a different excuse. Then finally was told it was finished . I asked to send pictures of repairs since I was 1,000 miles away before I paid to have it shipped back to me. They did not want to do that. Finally they agreed and sent me a couple pictures after weeks of going back and fourth with them. As the pictures came through I realized that pretty much nothing I asked them to look at was addressed. So I went over everything again with warranty person. Two weeks later I was told the trailer is ready to go. Unfortunately it was not. However I had been without my trailer for 4 months easily. I actually paid someone that would be hauling my trailer back to me to go look it over and send me pictures . He did just that and I see that only one issue was addressed while it was there. Since I couldn't see the trailer in person I agreed to pay again to have it shipped back to me. When I got my trailer back it was NOT USABLE. The "repair" they performed was done incorrectly and the trailer was unsafe to use. If there was any weight loaded into the trailer it would have blown out the front tires every time. So... I was told by Texas pride I could pay to have it shipped back to have them take a look at it! Really! After I paid to have it shipped round trip now they want me to pay to have it shipped back! I couldn't justify doing that since they had my trailer well over 4 months and didn't address even half of my issues. That being said I chose to have a local shop fix the major issues so that I could use the trailer that I purchased and haven't been able to use. I was told by Texas pride that I rushed them to get the trailer back! Hmm 4 months wasn't enough time I guess! Then I was told that I was nearing the end of my coverage so I better hurry up and ship it back to them if I wanted it fixed. I tried explaining this to them that it makes zero sense to pay again to send my trailer back after they had it for over 4 months and that they couldn't fix it then why would I pay to have it sit for another month or two and allow the warranty to run out as they did nothing to it. Bottom line I paid a local shop to repair the trailer and have been stuck with all the cost of snotty workmanship because they allowed a trailer to leave their facility knowing it was a danger to me and anyone else on the roads around me! I travel with work throughout the country and have looked at different manufacturers of dump trailers. There is no comparison to the quality and design integrity of my new Texas Pride 7 X 14 X 33 16K dump trailer. Fortunately for me I've been working at sand & gravel pits the past few months and haul a load of sand, gravel and clay home every day. I sometimes forget I'm pulling tons of weight, very stable and balanced piece of equipment. Best bang for your buck. And customer service team, from sales to title, we're very polite and helpful. This company is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. From day one I have had nothing but issues out of the 2- 40' deck over nose gooseneck trailers I ordered from them. When I left their lot I had to turn back around and immediately get the trailers aligned. Both were tracking crooked and both out of alignment bad. Their response was "we don't warranty alignments". I told them I understood that had I taken them for 3-6 months and then at that point said they were bad..... but I literally just pulled off the lot!! Since then I have had them in 2-3 times each for the same exact issues along with several others. - won't stay in alignment - wiring issues with lights - battery for brakes won't charge (took in twice for this issue) -half the tires wearing choppy for no reason - decks over nose are sitting about 3 inches higher in the front than back so it's never level with trailer deck - painted over oil bath covers when painted trailers so impossible to see oil level when doing inspections. - paint rusted after the first 3 weeks. Carry spray paint to touch up every chance I get. - rotor on one axle was defective from manufacturer which in return also messed up the caliper I know I left something out. But to top all of this off, the customer service is horrible. They were supposed to leave my trailer in the after hours lot for me to pick up on a Sunday after more warranty work was done to it. I drove 2.5 hrs to get this trailer (made this trip about 6 times now for warranty work to get done!) and when I get there it's locked up in the other lot that I cannot get to. In return I get a response of "we don't allow our guys to work Sunday but if somebody wants to come up there later today to let you in you can get it...." really!!!! This is just piss poor customer service. Save your money and time. Had I bought the trailers from another manufacturer and spent 3-4K more per trailer I would have actually saved money by now once you add the time and fuel to madisonville and back to get repairs done and add in the days I could not use the trailers to make money! When my brake caliper and rotor issue appears I was stranded in NV. They told me they would not pay for parts but would reimburse me for the labor charges (wasn't happy but at least they would pay for something right???) I had this repair done and sent them the invoice I paid. It took 3 more phone calls and 3 months to get paid back for something they messed up! This is honestly the only time I have ever left a review on a company and wouldn't bash a company usually. My business partner purchased a deck over, goose neck flatbed trailer from Texas Pride, with the sale person bragging about how he was once also a hot shot trucker and knew EXACTLY what would fit our hauling needs; especially stating the tires and wheels were perfect for our loads. We have had 6 blow outs on the road, with 6 cracked wheels to match, in less than a month and 1/2 of being on the road. Not only is this a loss of business and income, but Texas Pride refused to even consider making right their wrong and pushed us onto Trailstar for warranty reimbursement, where we were given only the wholesale price, which covers the cost of two tires and rims at our pricing, and that doesn't include having to upgrade to the PROPER tires and wheels. I have held off on my public display of disgust toward this company, but after being sidelined again yesterday, I have had enough. This company lacks integrity, morals, and intelligence. Anyone worth their weight in business knows that customer service and backing your product are the most important key to growing a business. Shady gimmicks and spiels may make you a quick fortune, but that fortune dwindles quicker when your deceitfulness comes to light and potential customers go where they can trust. We are a small business, just starting, and we relied on Texas Pride's product to safely get our loads from A to B, without hazardous stops between every part of C through Z this defective equipment takes us. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SANITY, and find a reputable company to purchase your equipment from. UPDATE. Upon initial delivery, the trailer had broken wheel studs. The prior "manager" sent replacement parts, claiming the studs weren't torqued by delivery driver. Texas Pride begged me to remove my prior bad review in exchange for the parts. I did, assuming fair is fair. New studs were professionally installed, on my dime. Fast forward, trailer has less than 4000 miles on it. Stud torque checked before every trip and trailer has a dedicated torque wrench due to said issues. I've never once, out of the large number of vehicles and trailers owned, had to carry a torque wrench. Studs have now broke four times and wheels come off twice. Same axle, same spindle. Ive been stranded in Death Valley for five days during a holiday weekend due to shoddy parts. Again, my dime to recover back to a shop. My last call to warranty (1-28-2021) ended with Texas Pride claiming defective axles are not covered and they offered to sell me a new one. Why on earth would I pay to replace a part I've already paid for when its had a documented issue since day one? All 4 oil baths have had to be replaced with grease almost immediately after delivery as all four inner oil seals allowed all internal oil to leak out during the delivery from Madisonville to Las Vegas. Texas Pride uses sub standard in house built axles. The last "manager" verified this but has since been let go. Convenient. The welds alone look like something a first grader stuck to the wall in art class. I've had three lights fall out, wiring issues, pine deck boards splitting, and rust everywhere due to the spray paint job. I live in the Nevada desert and the trailer is already rusty. I'd hate to see something from a wet climate. It rust through in a couple years. I wanted to love the trailer. I cant, its basically a pile of trash that will eventually hurt or kill someone. I fully understand things go wrong and can break. In this case, I have a defective structural part of the trailer, documented from delivery, that continues to break. I never asked the company for money or even reimbursiment. I simply asked them to fix the issue. The difference between a stand up company and a shady company is in the service when things go wrong. Texas Pride is a terrible company and refuses to stand behind the shoddy craftmanship. Save yourself the headache, buy a different brand. Anything. Someone need to let the owner know that his trailers are trash. Mr. Jim B instead of calling and asking individuals to remove bad reviews or praising only good reviews, you should really look at the production of these trailers. I purchased a trailer in November of 2020. It was brand new. I put it on the road in December of 2020. Now, not even six months later, they hit me with a bill to pay almost $3,000 for some faulty brakes. They said I need to replace 6-9k magnets, 4-9k equalizers, and 6-9k brake assemblies. It started out with us receiving a message to check the brakes. We took the trailer to them on a late Thursday evening. I never authorized them to do the work, yet the service department cut the wiring and we had to travel back nearly 300 miles without any brakes. So inconsiderate of Texas Pride. Really, Mr. Jim B you be ashamed of your product and invest in some due diligence of the faulty work and product you are selling. In addition, the warranty does not state that it excludes labor, but it excludes parts. Texas Pride did not even offer to pay for the install or even give me the courtesy of good customer service. Now, after the fact, I have read so many negative reviews on your axles and brakes. I'm going to spend the $2,800 you were going to charge me on making sure that individuals like me are not a victim of such a senseless act. Then Ivan, service specialist, is so rude. You should have compassion for individuals who trust you and your product and make good faith purchases and then the end result is that you have received a piece of junk. This trailer cost me nearly $20,000. Who would ever imagine that I would have to replace not 1 brake, not 2 but all 6. Texas Pride simply did nothing, but tried to place blame. Please review your warranty and read these reviews prior to making a decision to do business with Texas Pride. I'm on a mission to report this incident to each and every reporting agency available. I will not stop until I am able to encourage others not to purchase from Texas Pride. Please don't purchase from this Company until you have tried others who put their customers first and those who guarantee their product, instead of using faulty or defective parts from the beginning. They thought I would continue to be stupid, but I was only stupid to purchase your trailer, but not stupid enough to give you another $2,800 so the brakes can go out again in another five months and you sing the same song. read more

I AM LOOKING TO PURCHASE A 14 FT DUMP TRAILER WITH THESE PEOPLE. Why is it the owner of the company will not respond back to the poor reviews?? You would think they would care enough to respond back with their side of the story! That dosent look good in my opinion! Especially with how much they are asking for these trailers! The only reason i am wanting one of their trailers is, the lifting ability of the trailer! Everyone else has the junk scissor lift style of trailers that wont lift squat!! Before i buy one of these trailers, i would like for the owner of the company to respond back to this review and let me know WHY i should choose this company over another..... I purchased a 14ft gooseneck dump trailer with a 14,000 lb GVWR It had a horrible shaking at speeds between about 35 and 55 mph. I took it back to Texas Pride and they essentially reworked the trailer, putting on new axles, new wheels & tires but the trailer still had a bad, but lesser, shaking issue. As an engineer I know that no matter the product, if you build enough you will finally produce a lemon. So it's about the customer service and not the quality. Jim, the owner of Texas Pride, never blinked. New trailer built for me at no cost and it pulls as smooth as a baby's behind. GREAT people. SPECTACULAR customer service. I can't say enough good things about Jim, Becky and all the great people at Texas Pride. You can't go wrong with these folks and their pricing is super competitive. read more
