We are on a tight timeframe as the surgeon is only available 1 day weekly. Staff was not accommodating and did not have answers to why authorization was not followed up on. In addition, they told me that the results would be read immediately for a follow up surgeon appointment 48 hours later, but proceeded to tell my adolescent daughter that it would take 4 days. As a result, she missed valuable practice time and had to wait an additional 9 days to see the surgeon. 1 week after: I had to call, again, 7 days post MRI to get follow up & the final reading. They were not sent or even initiated to be sent.

I think many medical offices, including imaging centers, receive more negative reviews than they…read moredeserve. Patients tend to leave reviews when they've had bad experiences and not when they have good ones - perhaps because we are already stressed. Personally, I had a great experience here. The staff were friendly, caring and reassuring. Most importantly , the results of my scans were posted within 24 hours both times I had to go. Isn't that what matters most?

Can't be in view of room w your child either- super disturbing. Children's has the parent in a viewing window area...wish they would have told us ANYTHING Had 5 phone calls about money - not one mention of what to wear, what not to wear, what is going to happen, no explanation to child, made me stay at desk to pay while took my kid because the technician told me as she was tapping her watch - they had a schedule to keep - again - their schedule & money more important than your child or patient comfort here. Even when I asked for someone to go over what would be done, they rolled their eyes & gave me a forced explanation. We would have left if I had not already paid & I would not have paid if I knew it was a itty bitty room w old machine, no viewing area, no care for anxiety of the child, no care to explain, such incompetence of customer service it's sad. Just all around bad experience! Scottish rite or Children's has a sliding scale, & better facilities- go there instead.

They agreed but did not tell me it would be without anesthesia. It was the most pain I have ever experienced. My hiatus hernia which had never given me a problem started choking me from the experience. I lost 10 lbs I was literally throwing up water for a couple months. I had to go to the GI dr. To get on medicine. It was the most traumatic experience of my life. Do not go to these people they are barbaric. The tooth is not as white as my other teeth. They cut the tooth next to it, so it is just now getting over the trauma. .I have PTSD from the experience. I don't ever want to go back! I'll live with my darker shade tooth for now. The last visit when they finally put the implant in 7 months later. You can use both entrances, but if you use the parking garage, you have to ring the bell so they let you in. The have a snacks and coffee counter for you to raid when you are done with whatever it is you need. I had imaging with contrast, and so I wasn't supposed to eat before my appointment. I had a coffee and a snack before I left and a little bottle of water. When I had to come back to bring my imaging disc to my referring doctor, it was just a quick call and it was ready for me by the time I came to pick it up on my way,which was about 20 minutes! I am a DCC fan, so it was so cool to see a DCC name in the CT scan room (although unfortunate that she had to get a scan!) Whenever they have athletes in,they can sign the wall. I thought it was neat.

This time, I arrived more than 30 minutes early. At intake I was presented with a few forms to review and sign as well as the expected out-of-pocket expense. They took me back for my imaging after maybe a 5-minute wait in the reception area. I actually was out of there BEFORE my original appointment time! Technicians and staff were friendly and efficient. Overall, a very pleasant experience if you're in need of medical imaging. I highly recommend them.

I arrived a little after 9:00PM and Patrick took me back at 9:15PM and I was leaving at 9:35Pm. Everyone there was fantastic! The whole process was so easy. Patrick was amazing! He was very reassuring and he burned a CD of my MRI and promised to have the results sent over before 9:00AM the next morning. These guys have definitely got their act together!!! I wish more facilities were this customer service focus and competent!!!! Thank you for a great experience, even if it wasn't the best of circumstances.

Midtown Medical Imaging is a very nice facility. It looks new, professional, and dare I say…read moreinviting? I was referred to this place by my orthopedic doctor. While they take a variety of insurance, they were also willing to do my MRI on a cash basis. I was invited to sit down and asked to fill out several forms. They were provided on a clipboard and there was a cup of pens to select from. I was taking a little too long to complete the paperwork, so the receptionist asked me to come up to her desk where she could help me quickly complete them with the information they needed. She said she would fill in any blanks. Normally I wouldn't do that, but it was for things like my insurance card which they had already scanned and put on file. The actual MRI was quick and painless. Prior to starting, I was asked about the reason for the MRI and whether I had any implants or metal on me. Once I was safely cleared for the test, I was given the opportunity to change clothes and place my items in a secure locker where I input the code. The MRI tech Kari lowered the bed for me, queued my favorite tunes, and helped make me comfortable. She even put a pillow under my knees to steady me. The machine plays some loud bangs and mechanical whizzing noises, but I just kept my eyes closed, my body still, and focused on the classical piano music I asked her to play into the headphones I was given for the 10 minute test. I was told at the desk that they would bill my insurance, so I owed nothing today. However, I might receive a bill at a later date if insurance denies the claim. It will supposedly cost me about $400. I can get my results from my doctor within a week, but I can also request the results within 15 business days. Because I'm doing the cheapest option, I was not given a CD like other patients. I would definitely return here as they were very clean, comfortable, professional, and willing to work with me on a cash basis.

My wife had a neurology appointment scheduled--an appointment we were relying on for a serious medical concern--only to discover that the office had **cancelled it without bothering to notify us.** No phone call. No voicemail. No text. No email. Apparently, communicating with patients is considered optional here. The irony would almost be funny if it weren't so infuriating. **It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that if you cancel someone's appointment, you should probably tell them.** And considering this is a *neurology* office, you would think that concept might be somewhere within their intellectual reach. Patients aren't calendar entries. They are real people dealing with real medical problems, rearranging work schedules, family responsibilities, transportation, and their lives around appointments that can already take weeks or months to get. Mistakes happen. What separates a competent medical practice from a dysfunctional one is how those mistakes are handled. Silently cancelling an appointment and leaving the patient to discover it themselves is not an innocent scheduling error--it is an astonishing lack of professionalism and basic respect. If this is how the office handles something as simple as notifying a patient of a cancelled appointment, it certainly doesn't inspire confidence in how they handle anything more complicated. Absolutely unacceptable.

Ken offered earphones with my choice of music AND would give me a heads-up as to when each different noise was coming. Jessica is very efficient, was patient with me and didn't make me feel dumbwhen missed finishing filling out a form. Would definitely recommend them!!! She let me go in and out of the machine to give a "test" run to make sure I could do the tests... she also let my son (23 yrs old) hold my hand and showed him where the emergency escape button was so if I started to panic that he could get me out faster. My doctor prescribed me 3 Xanax to help calm me but those didn't help much..until after the procedure then I fell asleep while he went to get the car...
