Dr. Thwaites and Dr. Huber are amazing…read more The staff not so much. It took them over a month to email me and tell me my test results were ready when they had been ready for almost 3 weeks prior. I was also referred to another specialty physician almost 3 weeks ago and still have not gotten a call to schedule an appointment and I have messaged them to find out the other Dr's name and cannot get anyone to message me back in a timely manner. I am afraid that even though I do like both Dr's i will be searching for a new PCP.

Dr. Huber is maybe the worst doctor I've ever seen in 36 years. And that's saying something…read more I drove 120 miles to come here because I could not get in anytime soon same day. I asked the receptionist if I could get ADA accommodations same day, she Che med and said yes. He did not address the reason I was there (He refused to give me the ADA Accommodations). I asked about medication, he did not give me the ones I needed, gave me another that after 2 doses it is clear I cannot take and will never take again, and gave me 1 of my former prescriptions that I don't take anymore and don't need. He's a smug prick that should maybe go back to the frat house. Maybe do some keg stands.

I've been a patient of Dr. Bergman for over 16 years, and I can honestly say she is one of the most…read moreexceptional physicians I've ever encountered. It's rare these days to find a doctor who not only remembers your history but genuinely cares about you as a whole person and that is exactly who she is. Dr. Bergman has walked with me through some of my most challenging medical moments over the years, as well as my victories. She always takes time to listen, never rushes appointments, and treats every concern with compassion, patience, and thoroughness. Her clinical judgment is outstanding, and her ability to explain things in a way that makes sense has helped me understand and manage my health so much better. What I appreciate most is that she treats me like a human being, not a chart number. You can feel that she truly cares about her patients, their families, and their long-term well-being. In an era where medical care can feel rushed and impersonal, she remains a shining example of what healthcare should be. I am incredibly grateful for her continued support, dedication, and consistency over more than a decade and a half. If you're looking for a primary care physician who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly committed to her patients, I cannot recommend Dr. Bergman enough. She absolutely deserves every star -- and then some.

However, after being healthy for three years and not needing to visit, I was surprised and disappointed to learn that they had canceled me as a patient. I now have to re-establish myself as a new patient, which comes with additional costs. They still have all my charts and history, so it was hard to understand why this was necessary. They told me that is the standard practice across the industry, but this affirms that healthcare providers are only in it for the money now, not customer service or patient care. I'm deeply saddened to know that this practice is more focused on squeezing every dollar out of you than on the health and long-term care of their patients.

I had been looking for a doctor's office that was close to my home, and I found the Family Medicine…read morePlus office was in-network in my insurance and accepting new patients. I had my routine annual physical done, then some time later I came in because I suspected that I was having a gout flare up, but that had never been diagnosed. The office ran a blood test to test for uric acid, based on which I was diagnosed with gout prescribed a couple of medications. I never had a good feeling while visiting the office -- the staff felt brusque at best, so I decided to switch my PCP to a doctor that a friend recommended. Then more than a year ago, I receive letters in the mail claiming that I had a balance from a doctor's visit. The name of the patient was not me, nor my wife, but had my same last name. I had already discontinued going to Family Medicine Plus for over 2 years. I was forced to call the office to find out why they were sending the bill to the wrong party. The office manager claimed that it would be fixed, however, I received additional mail attempting to claim the balance, and I was forced to call once again. Then, this morning, I received another call from a random number in California claiming that I had a balance from a visit in May. So, I had to call again. The office manager claimed that no one was attached to my account and that I had no balance. I wanted to know why I'm still getting these calls and wanted to make sure that no damage was being done to my credit. She insisted that everything had been fixed, and said she would loop in Dr. Hastings, before abruptly hanging up. I waited 5 minutes before writing this review, but the staff and this office acts as if doing their job (for which they are paid) is akin to doing you a favor.
