Patients tend to leave reviews when they've had bad experiences and not when they have good ones - perhaps because we are already stressed. Personally, I had a great experience here. The staff were friendly, caring and reassuring. Most importantly , the results of my scans were posted within 24 hours both times I had to go. Isn't that what matters most?

Children's has the parent in a viewing window area...wish they would have told us ANYTHING Had 5 phone calls about money - not one mention of what to wear, what not to wear, what is going to happen, no explanation to child, made me stay at desk to pay while took my kid because the technician told me as she was tapping her watch - they had a schedule to keep - again - their schedule & money more important than your child or patient comfort here. Even when I asked for someone to go over what would be done, they rolled their eyes & gave me a forced explanation. We would have left if I had not already paid & I would not have paid if I knew it was a itty bitty room w old machine, no viewing area, no care for anxiety of the child, no care to explain, such incompetence of customer service it's sad. Just all around bad experience! Scottish rite or Children's has a sliding scale, & better facilities- go there instead.

You can use both entrances, but if you use the parking garage, you have to ring the bell so they let you in. The have a snacks and coffee counter for you to raid when you are done with whatever it is you need. I had imaging with contrast, and so I wasn't supposed to eat before my appointment. I had a coffee and a snack before I left and a little bottle of water. When I had to come back to bring my imaging disc to my referring doctor, it was just a quick call and it was ready for me by the time I came to pick it up on my way,which was about 20 minutes! I am a DCC fan, so it was so cool to see a DCC name in the CT scan room (although unfortunate that she had to get a scan!) Whenever they have athletes in,they can sign the wall. I thought it was neat.

This time, I arrived more than 30 minutes early. At intake I was presented with a few forms to review and sign as well as the expected out-of-pocket expense. They took me back for my imaging after maybe a 5-minute wait in the reception area. I actually was out of there BEFORE my original appointment time! Technicians and staff were friendly and efficient. Overall, a very pleasant experience if you're in need of medical imaging. I highly recommend them.

I asked them three different times on multiple phone calls if they had an Open MRI. They said "Yes." I asked if it was open on the sides and not closed in, they said "Yes." I asked if it was "hamburger style" and they said "Yes." I drive 30 miles to them and get there only to find out that the "Open MRI" is still a tube but slightly bigger. Just like a regular MRI machine just a little bigger. This is NOT what I was told on the phone. Also, this company had me scheduled for a normal MRI at a different location. When I called, they said I was supposed to go to a different location and there was no note in my file about an "Open MRI." I am glad I called because I would have went to the wrong location in the first place. I will not be using this company again. When I went to the facility, there was someone waiting in the waiting room not wearing a mask. During these times of COVID-19, it should be one in and one out like every other doctor's office I have visited.

They had hand sanitizers and there was enough distancing between seats. Besides it was not full of people. There was 1 person when I got there and one arrived after me. They had their face masks. I was given the choice of waiting inside watching TV for the 45 minutes it takes for the contrast fluid to go through me, or I was welcome to take it outside, or to my car and drink it and return in 45 mins. The radiologist was extremely nice through the entire process, explaining things as we were going. There was no surprises. I even apologized for not being able to hold my breath for 20 seconds. She told me that she got the image and it was perfectly clear! Turns out I let my air out on the 18th or 19th second.

Details: Envision Imaging is conveniently located on Plano Pkwy near Marsh Lane. Gorgeous and sparkling clean medical office building. I had an MRI and CT Scan this week at Envision Imaging. Nurse was professional, a good communicator, friendly, and cheerful. It is wonderful to have a nurse who smiles and can relax a patient. Nurse explained everything in an easy way for me to understand. I appreciate her expertise and her willingness to have short conversations with me. She gently inserted the catheter that was used for contrast dye. She also gently removed the catheter after the procedures were complete. MRI and CT technicians were also professional and good communicators. They also explained everything ahead of time so I knew what to expect. Two days later I returned to Envision Imaging to pick up my CD-ROM of previous imaging. I also picked up a CD-ROM of the MRI and CT that Envision Imaging performed. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. They quickly provided the 2 CD-ROM that I ask for. Thank you to the entire staff at Envision Imaging on Plano Pwky. The gentleman, shook my hand and introduced himself and told me what he was going to do. He really cared. It was just such a high-quality place the Type of Care this place gives you is amazing and then to get your results and they go through it with a fine tooth comb and they tell you about each part of it and give you diagrams to touch and learn about what's going on highly recommend this place. It took another five minutes to verify information. Because it was my little one getting blood work done, the phlebotomist called another colleague to hold down my kid's arm. They were both really nice, patient, and encouraging. My kiddo did great because of their help. The only tricky part is finding parking and the clinic itself.
