My wife wanted to go to the exhibit because she knew the quilter who designed and made the quilts and has since passed. It was a well done display. The artist was versatile with a broad range of themes. I didn't count, but they must have had 30 or so quilts on display. My wife considered the exhibit worth the trip from Houston to La Grange. I'm not that much of a quilt enthusiast but the quilts were nice. You aren't supposed to take pictures inside the museum, but I took one toward the entrance (assuming they didn't care) and another of the main area when the receptionist looked away accepting the fee from an arriving customer.

    Beautiful gardens.

Loved it. The "docents" were very kind and attentive. It's a small place but a nice outing. I think it was $5 admission.

The price just to look was $8 and only had about 30 quilts to look at and about 6 used ones for sale!

There is a wonderful mural and Grandmother's Flower Garden, which is parterre, lovely, with a sundial in the middle.
