I was already on my 3rd IUD and had gotten 1 replaced early for this same reason, so I didn't think it would be a problem. Not Dr.Shiloe. Nope. She decided to tell me that in fact, I did not need a new IUD earlier than was "medically necessary", regardless of the reason. She completely disregarded the fact that I was on my 3rd IUD, I knew the risks, I knew how my body reacted to them, and I was going to get another one anyway, but nope. Just created more hassle and expense and made me feel somewhat embarrassed, as if I'd done something wrong. Will not be returning.

Being a nurse and having no experience with pain management clinics, I was very skeptical. I imagined an office where people came to easily get pain medication and a sketchy doctor. I couldn't have been more wrong about this clinic! Dr. Azzam's office and medical staff are fantastic, knowledgeable, and very caring. Funny too. Dr. Azzam himself, is not the doctor I envisioned at all. The exact opposite. He listened to my concerns and agreed that we had the same goals regarding my pain management. I am a horrible patient yet he always carefully explained things to me in the manner best suited to my personality. He took the time to understand what I was worried about. He is extremely knowledgeable and up to date with the most current therapies. I ended up having Kyphoplasty and that was a fantastic decision. I trust Dr. Azzam 100%.
