My kids and I were nearby and driving in it, as it produced pieces of ice falling from the sky that were literally the size of my fist. They sounded like indescribable explosions hitting my car (we were thankfully able to take shelter under the very last available spot at the local Sonic). My realtor informed me that everyone at the house that morning did, in fact, also suffer the hail's effects.
