Our Abby watching Clara the donkey!

We just finished our 3rd stay here! It's one of our favorite places to stay when we make our cross country jaunts from MI to CA twice a year! It's very quiet, I love the animals they have, the sites are wide and long, and the prices very reasonable! Last evening we sat outside until 9 ish, in the warm breezy and beautiful Texas air! It's very low key which is one reason we love it!

My husband and I stayed here for a night because it was convenient for the route we were on. We didn't know anything about it but we were pleasantly surprised when we got there. It's basically a little farm with chickens, goats, a couple cows, and a donkey. We loved staying here! Everything was in great condition, I'm not sure if it's a newer RV park but it seemed like it. The bathrooms were under construction but they still had one open and they were very clean. The showers weren't working but that didn't bother us. We did tent camping which is nice that they offer that. It is right off the highway so if you're a light sleeper or think the cars passing all night will bother you then I would recommend ear plugs. Overall very nice place! We would definitely stay again!

Rustic spot, close to I-40 offering clean critters for the kids to enjoy viewing and a enticing array of souvenirs in the camp store. Very economical and a comfortable stop along your way west.

My son was in love with the goats and they were so gentle!

Highly recommend this RV park!! Super friendly owners and very clean. We did laundry and it was very nice. It had a great place to fold clothes. I have a 16 month old and it was by far his favorite place. They have swings, miniature goats, and chickens. They also have two underground shelters that are brand new. It was really nice considering we are RVing in tornado alley. Can't say enough good things about this place!

What a charming place. Open space and goats, sheep, chickens, cows and a donkey to greet you. We are in space 4 and our dog loved not only greeting the animals when we returned to the RV he just watched them play and was engrossed in the show. Peaceful and inviting and very affordable! Check it out ! I think you will enjoy the serenity

This is an excellent RV/Camping site with a perfect location for exploring both Palo Duro Canyon…read moreState Park and Caprock Canyons State Park. The site itself and the bathhouse were very clean, and the host was friendly and welcoming. One of the best surprises was the on-site food truck, which was amazing and such a convenient bonus. The other guests were quiet and respectful, and the whole property felt safe, peaceful, and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay and would gladly recommend it to others visiting the area.

I'd much prefer a Fairfield, but there are no Fairfield's or Holiday Inns in Silverton less than an hour away. Therefore, when we visit our kids in Silverton, we are happy to pay $100 for a bedroom that doesn't require one of our grandchildren to sleep on the couch. I am grateful that these cabins now exist. They weren't here when our kids first moved to Silverton. The owners are friendly and helpful. We will be staying here on future trips to Silverton. It appears Silver Wind's main business is their RV Park. That is a valuable asset to the community whether their customers are Wind employees, Silverton citizens living in motor homes, or travelers passing through or visiting family in Silverton. Update in response to owner's comments: Great to hear there's improvements planned. We would continue to stay here when in Silverton, but looks like we can enjoy our stay even more. Thank you!
