I hate writing negative reviews, but the fact that this company did not deliver as expected, I felt the need to write to make everyone aware of how they do business. I booked an appointment for 9/3 on 8/20 - yes, several weeks in advance as I understand that window cleaning businesses are difficult to book for services right away. This was important to me as I had an event at my home on 9/7. I spoke to the owner on 8/20 and he was very professional. I had never used their services before but, after speaking with him, I felt like I had the right company to do the job. I even purchased a Yelp voucher after our conversation. 9/3 came and went. I called and left a voice mail message - no reply. I finally emailed and did receive a reply that evening. Apparently, they had mistakenly booked me for 9/4 at 10AM. I said that was not an issue - mistakes happen - and was looking forward to seeing them on 9/4. 9/4 at 10AM came and went. I waited until noon and when I did not hear from anyone, I called the two phone numbers I could find on the internet. Today is 9/10 and I still have not heard from anyone. I just think this is a horrible way to run a business. I understand things happen, but call the customer and let them know. A conversation can go a long way. Fortunately, Yelp did reimburse me the voucher amount so I did not lose any money in this ordeal. I see this company has 3 reviews with 5 stars each. I am still puzzled as to why anyone has recommended them, given what I went through. I just hope they learn how to improve their business model. read more

My wife and I were listing our house to sell and doing everything possible to make the house perfect. One thing we had overlooked were the windows until our realtor brought it to our attention. So, we decided to give Texas Star a try. We just got home and the windows all look amazing. I would definitely use their services again and I would recommend them to my friends and colleagues. read more

The only reason they received a one star rating from me? No option for a zero star rating. Crooks! They do not follow through. They do not return phone calls. I am a real estate agent and have multiple clients I recommend window washing and pressure washing for their siding, driveways, sidewalks, etc.; HOWEVER, I will not only not be referring this company but am filing a complaint with the BBB and the Texas Attorney General's office. I've been through the wringer trying to get someone out to clean the gutters on my home. I've tried 3 different companies and they were all no-shows. Texas Star Windows makes it 4. I called them on 4/15/14 to schedule a gutter cleaning. They were happy to help and all was well--they said they'd be out that Thursday (4/17) at 3:00 pm. Super! Cut to Thursday at 2:45, they called and said they'd have to cancel due to the rain in Tarrant County making them late for other appointments. They agreed to come back the following Tuesday (4/22) at 3:00 pm. Tuesday rolls around and at 2:58, my husband HAD TO CALL THEM (not the other way around) to confirm that they were still coming. NOPE. They claimed to have called my phone (they didn't) and tried to leave a message (they didn't) about cancelling for a SECOND TIME, again because of some rain in Arlington that made them behind schedule. Awesome. So my husband reschedules for a THIRD TIME, this time for today (4/24) at 1:00 pm. He even had them confirm/repeat back that yes, they would be there Thursday 4/24 at 1:00 pm. Well, what do you know, he had to call them AGAIN to figure out where they were at 1:00 today (as they were a no-show for the third time). "Oh, no, the appointment is for Friday, right?" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I am livid! My husband has rearranged his work schedule 3 times to accommodate this unprofessional company, and they still can't get their sh*t together. Way to go, Texas Star Windows. YOU SUCK. read more

I used them once and they saved my credit card information and put it under someone elses name and have charged me 3 times for services that are not mine and they still have not refunded me the money or called me back. Would rate lower than one star if possible but that choice not available. Spoke back and forth with Manny by text and by phone of the past few weeks about gutter and veneer cleaning. After confirming directly with Manny by voice and text his company for an appointment of this past Friday he no-showed for an appointment. Called him and texted him on the day of the appointment and no reply to this date. I guess my business was not that important to him, I took off from work to get this appointment completed and ended up being a waste of time. VERY Unprofessional way to conduct business. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY. The previous bad reviews on Manny no-showing were accurate. read more

All I recommend to you is that you give 3 different price quotes before hiring Texas Star Window, because this company tries to get you all hyped on the sale they are having when in reality that is just a sales gimmick. They actual cost you pay is about 10-30% more than what other companies would charge you. read more
