Dr Heather Anderegg along with Violet and Jamie are so WONDERFUL! The eye exam with Dr Heather was very thorough and she explained EVERYTHING!!! I highly recommend her for your next eye exam and contact fitting, she made me feel very comfortable and is so kind and patient. Jamie did all of my pre~exam fittings and testing and she is very sweet and makes you feel very comfortable while getting pictures of the inside of your eye (that picture is pretty awesome, you will LIVE IT!) Violet helped me following my eye exam, with choosing my awesome frames for glasses and sunglasses and she had so much patience and a great since of humor...because I spent an hour choosing my frames! So I spent two hours there...no one tried to hurry me or pressure me, I chose my contacts, glasses, & sunglasses and they filed my insurance, went over all costs with me and it was a very positive experience! I used TSO in Bastrop when I lived in that county and was pleased, so when I moved back to the Hill Country I tried the one in Fredericksburg - Excellent! Whether getting or changing appointments, the equipment and instruments, working with the opticians on my glasses, or, most importantly, the examinations by Drs. Anderegg and Pena and their staff, it is all excellent! The doctors not only tell you what they are finding, they show you, compare to previous visits, let you ask copious questions, and provide clear, understandable information in response. Dr. Anderegg is great. This was my best eye doctor experience ever. The support staff was very helpful and friendly and straightened out my insurance issue as well. Even though it costs $40, I can recommend the pictures of the eye over the drops that dilate you pupils. No side affects unlike the drops that blur your vision for 4 hours. And the pics stay in your file for comparison in the future. Once again, if you need an eye doctor don't even thing about going anywhere else. read more

The facility and the people who work in the facility are very knowledgeable. They treat you with respect and let you know everything that is going on. I have used other eye doctors in the Hill country and San Antonio, this is the finest office around.
