After returning home from work, excited to walk into a just-cleaned apartment, I was extremely disappointed. - surfaces in both bedrooms had not been dusted/ wiped down (dressers, night stand and desk) - kitchen island was dirty - top of liquor cabinet had not been dusted - coffee table top had not been cleaned - dust and crumbs on the floor were overlooked I called Alexis to talk about what might have happened, and was even more disappointed. She told me that "the dust must have settled" since they had been there hours before, that "sometimes the towels leave lint", and "they don't lift furniture". She assured me that she watched the surfaces get wiped down while I could clearly see that they hadn't been. I was extremely disappointed by the contrived and combative response. I feel completely duped, especially since there are so many competing services at better price points. Attention to detail is paramount in this industry, and apparently austins finest cares as little about the details as they do their customers (see screenshots).

I ended up choosing Precision Carpet and I have not been disappointed. They have a nice, professional website, they're responsive to email and calls, and they can usually get me booked within a week. We choose the Green Clean because we have birds and they are sensitive to chemicals; this service usually costs more than the standard cleaning, but because the area they are cleaning here is so much smaller than the maximum square footage they cover in the price, they charge me for a standard clean instead. They also only charge me for a bedroom and stairs rather than adding a charge for the closet, again because of the small area. Precision clearly cares more about their customers than they do the money, and I appreciate that. We just had our second clean done and they have always sent very professional and friendly guys for the job. They also always arrive during the 3 hour window and complete the task in a timely manner. We plan to buy a house once our current lease ends (Sept 2017) and will continue to use Precision in our home.

I called this company in the spring when my regular carpet cleaner was full and could not fit me…read morein. Huge mistake. I should have waited. I have berber carpet, which is admittedly difficult to clean, but a good company can handle it and know that you cannot over wet it. When it is over wet and left that way, spots will wick back up. Two guys showed up and were in and out in less than an hour. My carpet looked good for about an hour. I did notice that it seemed overly wet and as the day went on, more and more spots reappeared; even spots that had been removed by my previous guy. Long story short...my carpet wasn't completely dry for three days, and this was with the air turned down low, ceiling fans on and floor fans blowing. When it finally did dry, it looked worse than when before they came. Additionally, they didn't put any plastic squares under any of the legs of my furniture. I had to cut up plastic bags and put it under the legs of my dining table, chairs, etc... I would NEVER use these people again. I notice that they have multiple web pages and names, but it is all the same company, Precision Carpet Care, Round Rock Carpet Cleaning, Austin Carpet Clean... all the same company. I was also told they would call me about 15 minutes before they finished so I could come by and look at the place. I drove by after several hours and the cleaners were gone. Unfortunately, I just have to trust when they left - which is harder since they weren't honest about when they arrived. I didn't hear anything from the company until the next day, which is when I learned about the incorrect start time. When I asked about this, they sad the charge was correct even with the adjusted time.
