This store is very hit or miss, depending on what you're looking for. Things are generally very…read morereasonably priced if not downright cheap. They do not have a lot of big furniture, though they get sofas, chairs, and beds from time to time. Most clothes and shoes are $2 or $3. This is a great place to shop for kids' stuff, with lots of clothes and books. The ladies who run this store are fantastic--so kind and helpful. They have a great "dollar bag" deal. In a certain area of the store, you can fill a grocery bag with as much clothing as you can fit (and still tie it) and it only costs $1. Single items from that area I believe are only 25 cents. Great prices on home items such as dishes an small appliances. Their hours are kind of weird and hard to remember. Their selection is not always great, but it is worth making a special stop, even on a "miss" day.

Not to mention they have great stuff for great prices. My favorite name brand items such as Micheal Kors, Kate Spade, Miss Me's, BKE and more buckle brands. Plus they always have great PINK stuff from VS. I got both my Micheal Kors purses from there for great prices as well as most the PINK clothing I have in my closet! I then make my way back to the men's shirts (that's what I came in for) and I find that yes they may be colorized but sizing..GOOD LUCK!!!! It was a total roll of the dice what size you were going to come to next....S,XL,L,M,XXL......but worse than that was that the racks were sooooo tight that you could not slide a hanger left or right, not a single cm!! There were shirts fallen down under the racks, horrible and the smell, grandmas attic. But lucky for me I did find 3 tshirts and after wandering the women's section which I actually pulled about 10 pair of shorts off the rack just so I could see what was on it the bar was that tight. But a laughable moment was when I picked up a pair of Walmart tennis shoes that looked like they were 15yrs old and a mess and out of curiosity looked at the tag, $35! Ohhh myyy! This store is in big trouble if they do not find fashionable buyers and fix their floor. So then I go to the register to pay, total inconvenience for them I could tell but one of the men's tshirts still had the store tag $6.88 and they were pricing it $10. I showed Faith, my cashier who took it over to another young girl and came back and said "this is what our system priced it at, nothing we can do" I said no thanks I will go buy it new. As a DM for Uptown Cheapskate, I would be appalled if one of my stores looked like this or my associates treated customers with such disregard to not even say hello upon entering. I was very excited to see this store and go in until I got in it. If I were the owner of this franchised store I would strongly consider an overhaul or it just is not going to last long in the current condition. Very very sad to see. There is soooo much potential in these resale stores if run properly but these are deadly to the longevity of the store mistakes. The staff at the loading dock for very professional and nice as they helped me load everything. There's also a sign clearly posted outside the door, explaining what they do and don't accept (unlike the GW in my previous location). Inside, the store is way cleaner than I expected. Every single person me, my children, and other customers, and one man happily pointed out new children's books for a mom with her young children. I found a hard wood bookcase for just $20. That's a steal, and not one I would have found in the Phoenix metro. It's in excellent condition, and I was able to quickly buy it, run home, and quickly come back to load it into my car. My personal take is to give this place a chance. It's small, but if you know what you're looking for, you can find great deals. I absolutely plan to come back.

This is a terrible place the have rats in the store in the break room. They treat their workers like slaves for 7.25 they cuss at them and talk bad to them. It's people who worked six years there and haven't even got a raise or even a bonus. They also have roaches all through the store. When sorting they open they bags with roaches in it and still hang up the clothes and put them on the floor. read more

This small business turned out to be a large disappointment. The fact that there were very few antiques in the store was a disappointment but the friendly service made up for that until we discovered they sell body parts of "humanely euthanized cats from shelters." in jars to the public. When we questioned the owner she literally said the person selling these "scientific specimens" obtain the cats from shelters that had humanely euthanized them. There are so many things wrong and disturbing about her statement I almost laughed in her face but couldn't because she said it as if she actually believed it. These were/are not "scientific specimens" they are someone's business and where they are sourcing the kittens, cats and fetal kittens from is questionable. Local shelters should not be euthanizing cats, kittens and pregnant cats so a worker/ friend of a worker or the manager can sell or donate the bodies to an individual that will cut them up, place them into jars and sell them at a local "Antique & Oddities" shop. These are not "Oddities" these are the work of someone most likely breaking federal/state laws and definitely the law of decency. Recommend skipping this business if you are shopping with little ones, animal lovers, or find people profiting off the exploitation of euthanized (or worse) animals under the guise of "science" wrong.
