Unfortunately, that's where the praise ends. Don't get me wrong, the lounge does have nice recliners, but it completely lacks that "home" feeling. It's just uninviting, and not a place you actually want to hang out in. It's a shame because having the space for great parking is a huge win, but corporate still fails to invest in making the inside feel welcoming for the drivers. First of all, the hours of the Tack Room... which if a fantastic experience, have been cut back. I was shocked to hear their top shelf bar closes at 10 PM on a Saturday night! Then, the formally great breakfast buffet was below average. After that the courtyard hot tub did not work. When we asked question about all the changes we were told "new owners" every time. The good news is that the staff is all still awesome and try to help all they can. We spoke to two other large groups who were down for their yearly trip and they joined is in their open disapproval of the changes. The bad news is that new owners are clearly trying to cut cost and it shows. I sincerely hope they soon realize that both the La Posada Hotel and Laredo TX are quite unique in their international hospitality and traditions. They have always been so very welcoming and helpful, a main reason for the repeated trips by those who know and love it. This place has been recognized numerous times in both magazines and television programs and I hope the new owners figure out they have a gem that needs to be left to run as it has in the past, or they will lose it. I have done business in Laredo and Mexico since 2007 and speak with some experience that the worst thing groups or large corporations can do is try to "Americanize" Laredo.

Small but sweet This…read moreis one of the smallest airports I've ever been in, but also a very nice airport. I thought the Fort Myers airport Florida was small until I found myself here in Laredo. I think only 3 or 4 airlines fly out of here, and there may only be 2 or 3 gates for planes. This airport is very clean and feels new and fresh inside. They were even doing some work to make it better and more beautiful. The TSA agents were the nicest I've ever met. Other airports they're not very nice and sometimes they are rude. There's nothing I could really complain about with this airport, so I'm giving 5 stars. If I had to find something to complain about it would only be they could use another food vendor. They have Chick-fil-A but that's it. Not bad but maybe something else would help too.

The ticket I purchased on line didn't work, so they gave me a new ticket for cash. I noticed that the new ticket was for a 9:30 bus. By 10:00, the bus still hadn't arrived and when I asked, I was told that the bus was stuck in customs at the border and would arrive in a few minutes. By 10:30 the bus had arrived and there was some confusion as to whether it was my bus. By 11:00 the bus was still there and I couldn't make my appointment to pick up my car in Houston by 6:00, if they took any extra time arriving there. So, I decided to not go. They refused to give me a refund for the ticket. I called the police and he said I could take them to small claims court, but it would cost more than the price of a ticket. Once the police came, they offered me a voucher for another bus.
