So I book open gym through the Pearachute App. I called the day before to make sure they would be open: the girl said yes. So arrived with a couple of friends and there were like 13 Other moms with kids in the parking lot. By 10:15am no one showed up. Open gym starts at 10am. There was a sign in the door saying they would be closed Labor Day weekend 31,1,2,3. So they clearly knew this and don't know to communicate with their staff. We all ended up at Altitude Trampoline park and it was great. I was so excited to bring my son to open gym because I was a gymnast for 10 years. But this is beyond frustrating. I drove 30min to get there and waited for 25min. I won't ever waste my time there again. As you can see from the picture they clearly knew it was going to be closed. read more

I had a great time training here. The coaches were knowledgeable, skilled teachers. The staff and owner very friendly, helpful and fair. Good facilities with a large variety of classes to choose from in a convenient location. I'm really sad to see it close. read more

I have two daughters who are currently at Texas Tumblers. One is doing competitive cheer and the other is in gymnastics. They feel like the gym is their second home. The coaches really build relationships with the kids and the owner is involved daily and has always been very responsive. I feel like my daughters are learning discipline and work ethic! When we let the gym know that our girls had church commitments on Wednesday nights, they were able to work with us to make sure the practice schedule wouldn't be a problem. My daughter's coach even told me that they believed in the importance of family and church, too. It's not all about practice. My girls feel like their coaches are family (even when they are pushing them to work harder). Texas Tumblers has been a great place for my girls to learn the sport and challenge themselves! read more

We came here for an introductory class this morning. My three year old had a great time. The instructors were great with the kids and made it really fun. They did balance beams, bars, floor exercises, and ran through a bounce house (not sure if that's a constant or just there for this event). read more

Unorganized and lazy. Child not making progress. And btw if you start mid month with Groupon it only counts for the remaining weeks. You explain your child isn't improving and you see instructors sitting and telling them what to do, not what I'm paying for. My child has been guided by me many times when I've seen her not knowing what to do. Owner still wants to charge another month for "notice". The shoulder shrug of "too bad" really seemed like a lot of concern. This is not in best interest of children, seems like money to me. Much better options out there. Texas Tumblers has been disappointing on multiple levels. Communication and knowledge of the office staff has been limited since my child has begun there. Along with this, information that is important was not shared upon sign up. Classes are average but the structure seems to lack for the younger kids. With this, it is hard for the children to remain focused on tasks when they are in the younger age range. Too much sit time, lack of correction, limited guidance and correction of wrong moves. read more

My daughter has been going here for tumbling for the past year. I recently needed some donations for our Family Fun Night at the elementary I work at. They were so kind a generous. First- ALL the coaches mentioned in previous reviews have QUIT! Coach Ronda, Coach Wendy, Coach Jessi, & Coach Kelee (cheer coaches). Coach Brendan, Coach Heather (tumbling coaches)... ALL QUIT (in under a year). My daughter attended for years as a cheerleader, we left this year because Traci is incredibly dishonest. Please don't provide her any bank or credit card info. You won't get your money back. She was constantly trying for task us to do work in the gym: renovate; clean; etc. My husband stopped coming to the gym because she has expectations you'll do work in the gym for her (unfortunate that he had to miss our daughter's achievements to avoid the owner). She had her minion Amy (who also quit), guilt parents into physically packing and helping Traci move from Frisco to Fort Worth (yet she has more $$$ than most of us to pay for movers) ... She acts as if it's a "family gym", but only for her own gain. I see she will respond to neg comments, so I will put it out there now (Traci DO NOT bother) or I will be forced to add all the harassing texts etc on here as well. We didnt know tht her "co-director" was arrested, she would refuse to disclose it. However, he was a bully (like Traci) anyway. I'm NOW writing this review because my daughter went to open gym and was berated by Traci about "loyalty", why an owner would dare talk to a child that way is infuriating (I'm the parent, if you have issues, you address ME). Ironic though, because she didn't refuse the $$$. The gym is gross, it has leaks and she won't clean it, she jst turns on the giant fans to dry it. When we did "fundraisers", the amount was extremely disproportionate to what we knew we raised. I found out the practice Leos were MUCH cheaper if I had bought them on my own directly, Traci adds to the price for her own profit. When your child grows out of them, she will offer for you to sell them behind the counter - BEWARE, when they sell she pretends she knows nothing about it (so she KEEPS) the money! She has a mom make the appurtenances and its crap and falls off. This same mom will come up w/ideas "for the girls" to buy bags, bows etc, then make you buy them (I guess between seasons she needs the $$$, who knows). We lost about 6 coaches last year sporadically. ALL of the cheerleaders left for Champiom Cheer, including half the coaches. The cheer tumbling coach quit and went to SGA. There are lots of gyms, try them (most are free to try). Please don't settle for convenience or otherwise, my child and yours deserve the professionals you pay for. And if you are already a past parent of this gym and she ripped you off - PLEASE FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB (even if nothing comes out of it, she can be on record for doing so)! read more

If I could give this establishment 0 starts I would!!!!! Rudest people I have ever dealt with!!!! Terrible. They drafted money out of my account 3 months after cancelling classes for my daughter. I have been calling, emailing, and facebooking them for a month to get a refund. Every single time I call or stop by they tell me there is nothing they can do I will have to follow up with the owner named Tracey. I have emailed that woman NUMEROUS times!!! Texas tumblers is a scam artist. I pay for my granddaughter to do cheer there and on several occasions, the try to inflate or sneak in an extra charge on my credit card at which at which time I have to constantly call my daughter to have her find out what the charge is for. I am in SC so I am not able to visit them and demand an explanation. I strictly do not recommend anyone living in that area to enrole their kids there read more

I'm very happy with Texas Tumblers. My child has been there for over two years. Her coaches are great and Traci, the owner, is always there to answer questions. I've see negative reviews regarding fees but these are all outlined in the contract. Nothing is out of the ordinary for a cheer team contract. I couldn't be happier. read more

Should have read the reviews and listened to the multiple parents complaining and dropping their kids every time my daughter had a class. Coaches think it's just play time for the kids and they just sit and talk the whole time. Once my daughter met all requirements to move up they still paid zero attention and never talked to me about putting her in a more advanced appropriate class. They are just after your money, not bettering your children's skills. We won't be coming back! There are plenty other gyms that will actually push your children to be better athletes AND listen (without attitude) when you confront them with a complaint. read more

We LOVE Texas Tumblers Cheer! Our daughter has been cheering for several years and prefers the family feel of a small gym. The athletes work together and are super supportive of each other. And the parents are just as invested in the gym as the athletes are... showing the kids what commitment means and taking pride in where they spend much of their time. There was a big turnover of staff this season. After 10 years, it was time for retirement and new phases of life. But, the new coaches are just as amazing as the old! this place was my family for a long time, i've cheered there for many years of my life and made life long friends with the athletes and the coaches. it was an amazing program, but when I thought it was time for me move on to bigger things and try a new gym for my last year of cheering, and this went for EVERYBODY who ever cheered here then moved, we get BANNED from the gym. banned. we're literally not allowed to step into the gym because we want to try new things. I don't even know how they're allowed to do this. and I also heard that you can only be let in if you make a worlds team at a different gym.... hm so what i'm getting as is if you can't make a worlds team then you shouldn't move. and if you do you get banned. also while cheering there, you weren't allowed to tumble at a different gym. cheering there felt like we were kept captive. unless you think this is the only gym you will ever go in your life, do not go here. read more
