We were visiting from out of town for the first time. The service was excellent from the beginning. They explained the menu, made suggestions, and didn't rush us to order. The restaurant was clean and there was plenty of seating. We ordered the family menu, it was pricey but worth it. The food was delicious! Homemade tortillas made it better. This was my first time here. The building was nice, the food was excellent, the staff was dressed up as your regular cowgirl and super friendly. The place was a little cold - ok it was a lot cold. It felt like I was sitting 1 inch from the A/C. I don't remember what I had but it was a sandwich of some sort with corn and brisket black bean. My husband got the brisket tacos and enjoyed them with the cilantro sauce. Cheesy potatoes were delish but a little dry (but again, the doordash drive probably accounts for that). Mexican corn was SEVERELY undercooked, which was a big disappointment. Corn fritter was a little dry, bacon mac & cheese was good but nothing to write home about. I was disappointed to not see more veggie options- nothing green- especially with the corn being undercooked. Overall really happy with the portion sizes and flavor for the price. Since I couldn't decide between the mac n' cheese or the mash potatoes earlier, he gave us a container of mash potatoes for us to share.. boy was it amazing.
