Initially, I had two other mechanics look at my car and one wanted $2,700 just for the AC/heat repair! Mine needed that and balljoints & arms replaced + few more issues so the total spent was $5K but was very fair and included a 24 month or 24K miles warranty on the work completed. JCA are the first mechanics I've ever dealt with that included in the diagnosis, mphotos of every issue + returned the old parts to me. As it turns out, the previous mechanic in another state didn't perform most of the work of which I paid over $2500; he hasn't returned my four phone calls and three email inquiries for copies of my invoices, most of which were paid by cash. . .things that make ya go "hmmmm".... Everybody at John Chak Automotive is professional, efficient and friendly. I dealt with Tyler the most - 5 Stars, too! - and they performed the needed repairs in a timely manner. Decided to have my car towed to another shop. Once there it was discovered that B&B mechanics took out my spark plugs and disconnected all kinds of hoses. All of which didnt need to be done for what was wrong with the car, an evap purge valve. The second shop had to fix what the B&B mechanics did in retaliation of us removing my car from their shop before they could fix the initial problem. B&B quoted 1500.00 to fix my car. Burdicks Auto Solutions in McKinney had my car for two days and have my car fixed and cost me 1350.00 to fix the damage that was done by B&B, fix the puge valve, and gave me an oil change. Of course my husband was stern in his interaction with the staff at B&B but never cussed or screamed. Once things were resolved in the office, he went outside to his truck contact AAA to get the tow truck in route. Two of B&B mechanics came out to his truck and threatened to beat him down. Totally unacceptable behavior all the way around. I highly suggest you dont use this shop for anything. All of this would have been avoided had they just called us to keep us in the loop of what was going on with my car.

The shop "forgot" $100 of labor on the first estimate for the Accord and then their repair did not fix the problem. When my son called to let them know they told him they would call him the next day. They did not. Three days later they finally say they have fixed the problem and I "only" need to pay for the part. About a year ago the interior door panel on that same door began detaching and squeaking badly. When we brought it to Platinum Honda (who bought Classic), the service manager admitted the clips were likely installed incorrectly during the original repair, but said it was outside Honda's one-year warranty on the work. All the other doors that have never been opened by anyone including the dealership are all fine. No other panels are coming apart. This is clearly a workmanship issue from their own service department. They refused to cover the $322 repair even though their own tech damaged the panel during a previous job. Very disappointed in both the original repair quality and their refusal to stand behind their work. Service Manager attempted to use the "This really wasn't us" defense, but freely admitted Platinum purchased Classic.

They had tried Honda in McKinney. The Honda dealer in McKinney offered $19,000 on their trade-in. In Denison, they offered her $12,000 on the same exact car. If you want an honest experience in buying a Honda, go to McKinney or somewhere closer to Dallas.
