The place did a terrible job. I went in there to get some bangs and the lady used a straight blade on my hair! It was so uneven and there were still some long strands that I had to cut mixed in with my bangs. It looks terrible and I KNOW that I'm gonna get laughed at tomorrow when I go to work. I usually cut my hair in another location, but I decided to give this one a try. I set and appointment and arrived about ten min early. As I walked in, I wasn't greeted nor acknowledged. I stood in the front hoping someone would approach me, or at least acknowledge I was present. After about 15 min, and about another two other people arriving somebody finally came to the front. I signed in, and was taken to a chair. I explained to the stylist the hair cut I wanted and she cut the amount I wanted and styled my hair exactly how I had asked! Was very pleased with my hair cut, I just feel the salon needs a little bit of work on their customer service. read more

This was my go to salon for a few years before I followed a previous employer to her salon. During COVID I understand that things have gotten more difficult so I followed the instructions on the website and booked through google for an appointment. I received an email less than an hour before my appointment time stating that my appointment had been cancelled by the location. During the booking process it requested my email and phone number and asked how I would like to be notified of changes and I chose text or phone call. I have attempted to reach them regarding a different appointment and they have yet to answer the phone. I'll find a new salon where customers are valued. read more

I went in today with a 9am appointment for low lights and color underneath the hair . Irma was my stylist and she was wonderful!!! She listened to my ideas and helped me pick the perfect colors . I had blonde hair that looked very unhealthy and Irma bought life and beauty to it . She also cut face framing layers and my hair looks 100% better . My appointment started right at 9 and I was blow dried and styled by 1130 . I highly recommend tgf hair salon and Irma as a stylist . read more

Went and got my haircut today and overall it was a decent experience. Only waited about 2 minutes before being taken back. Was charged a lot more than the sign of the prices stated. I had also had a picture of what I wanted done and she went ALOT shorter in the back than I had wanted. read more

This salon is probably the best of multi chain style salons. Extremely clean, the staff is happy and helpful. My appointment was a 12 noon and by 12:03 I was in a chair. I showed my picture of what I was looking to get and Steven my Stylist was a miracle worker! I felt like a million bucks. I will be going back and highly recommend this place to other. My hair was all the way to my waist. I decided to cut it off because the weight of it was causing me headaches and it was just too hot. After being frustrated with my hair I decided to go to the first place I could find. My hair grows back fast so I wasn't too picky. Big mistake coming here! First the lady ties my hair with a rubber band, then she grabs clippers, and shaves off the ponytail! Yes I said clippers! Yes I said shaved! Then she begins to chop away. I was annoyed and wanted to get out ASAP so I didn't get it styled. When I got home and styled it myself I noticed that in the middle where she shaved off the most hair in the ponytail was shorter than the rest of my hair. So with my hair straightened you can see a huge gap in the back. To get my hair even I'm going to have to get my haircut close to my ears. Right now it's in the middle of my neck. Btw I asked for shoulder length. I do like the front, thank goodness bc until my hair grows longer it will be stuck being pinned up with some side swept bangs. Customer service is very poor. Unfortunately I'm unable to leave an honest review based on service received; because I never made it to the chair. Brought my son in for a haircut and when I walked in, it looked like there were only two hairdressers and both were with clients. No one was at the front, my husband and I sat down and in the 10 minutes we were there not once received acknowledgement, not a "hello", welcome, or "we'll be right with you. No one said a word, it was going to be my baby's first haircuts so as it was, we were nervous. I waited a few minutes and decided that we should take our business elsewhere based on simply not receiving any help. I work In customer service and I know how far a simple hello, or simple eye contact, can go a long way. I'm usually a fan of TGF, but not this location and not today. read more

Horrible customer service and listening skills. Went in to have my sides shortened and asked to keep my bangs the same length. The stylist decided to instead cut my hair "the way all the kids are wearing it". Which was not what I asked for. She butchered it and then rushed me out even though they were dead slow. I'd recommend going somewhere were the stylists will do what you want. read more

I've decided that my original rating was too emotionally charged and did not fairly weigh in my previous positive experiences. I really, really enjoyed the first too times I went both in terms of satisfaction with my haircut and the friendliness of the stylist. The only time I felt like both of those things were lacking was my third visit, from which I ended up getting a large, purple mass that oozed thick, yellow discharge around my eyebrow piercing from where the stylist yanked it with her comb (and did not apologize). Overall, it's a mixed bag. I wish I knew the names of the stylists so I knew who to ask for and who to avoid. read more

If there was a zero rating that is what they earned. The atmosphere here is rough and the stylist apparently have very little training, as well as, manners. The worst part is the manners of the staff, which are lacking to say the least. Never come here for anything except a basic cut. Even when the hair is blown dry it is not the average accepted method. Ok came in Friday evening to get a wash, haircut and blow dry. It was a wait which I could understand since I was a walk in. There was 2 hairdressers working I got a young girl and she was very nice but seem a little crazy. She began washing my hair and was scraping and man handling my head I felt a little uncomfortable. When it was over she asked me how I wanted my hair she begins cutting great no problems and it was quick. Then she begins blow drying and again super harsh with my head like it was toy very uncomfortable. I probably won't go back but I will say that I loved my cut and she made my hair smell great and smooth. She was a little weird. read more

It was a wonderful experience. I received prompt service and the salon itself was very clean. My stylist, Armida, listened to what I was asking for and we discussed any changes she thought would be helpful. She showed me how she was going to achieve what I asked for, and I am extremely pleased with the results. I will return to this salon and stylist. read more

If you simply must go to this place do not trust Maribel with your hair. I hate to complain and always give people second chances. But no more the first f**k up was when my younger daughter wanted a angled bob so we described it and she agreed. As she began to cut it was looking more and more like a normal straight end cut that was just really short in the back. I finally had to stop her and get her superior next thing you know another young lady had to step in and fixed it in no time. Maribel later said sorry it's because I never do those. (Which would have been nice to know in the first place). This time my oldest who's hair is down to her bottom wants it cut between her mid back and shoulders. Well guess what now my daughters super thick and wavy hair is now above her shoulders and is extremely puffy. If she knew what she was doing this would have never happened.
