The MRI Technologist wss very friendly and explained the exam/procedure in detail. I was expecting to be in there for over an hour based on ChatGPT. But I was done in maybe 30-40 minutes. I did have to sit in the waiting room in a while because I wasn't warned thay the contrast could make me feel dizzy and brain foggy. They were kind enough to make CDs of the MRI images for my physicians while I waited in the waiting room. It was a pleasant experience, but next time I know to have my husband or a friend drive me for a contrast study.

They'll call you up to supply insurance and ID and give you the paperwork you need to fill out. The day I went they just experienced a power outage so their machines were in process of restarting so the wait times were taking longer than expected and they were not even sure the machines would be back up and working. But the staff didn't mention this to anyone or call anyone with appointments to let them know. The only reason I knew was because of overhearing staff talk at the front desk. And when 1 lady asked about the wait time they told her. This type of information they should disclose to patients so that we are aware and should a reschedule be necessary because someone cannot wait then they can take those steps. The place is also FREEZING COLD! It literally felt like I walked into a meat locker. Finally called back and the nurse taking the mammogram was very nice. She even agreed about the coldness of the place. They walk you back to a room where you get undressed and place a gown on. You can keep your belongings in the little room while you go get scans done. They then walk up back to the dressing room and you are on your way. Quick and easy process.

They were patient with me while I called the office and had them refaxed over. Waited probably another 30 minutes then they called me back for my mri. The staff was nice and accommodating. They have rooms for you to change and lock your belongings while they conduct the scanning. I did freak out during my scan so they pulled me out from the machine and allowed me to breathe then were patient with me while putting me back in. I kept my eyes closed the entire time which helped the second time around.

So, I drove there to see what the holdup was. They just told me that they use a third party radiation team to review the MRIs and it takes 10-15 days to get them read. The doctor who sent me here is appalled. says it should never take that long. If you're looking for your imaging results quickly, definitely go somewhere else!

Whomever this employee is needs to work on his communication skills he didn't have to angrily record me without my consent he could have nicely asked me to move my car. Mind you no one else was in the parking lot and the building was closed and I was doing no harm just waiting for my husband to come get his lunch.
