These tests can be stressful but they know how to get it done! Most tests require an appointment but an X-Ray is walk/in only. I got lucky and the wait was not too long... I had an appointment scheduled for a specific ultrasound, and from the moment I entered the room, the ultrasound technician, Mary, conducted herself in a highly unprofessional manner when i showed her the concern on my body. Her facial expressions and overall demeanor communicated visible disgust rather than professionalism, neutrality, or clinical concern. As a patient already experiencing anxiety about my health, this interaction was distressing and made me feel ashamed of my body. I work in healthcare and I have never treated a patient in the manner I was treated today. Patients are entitled to respectful, compassionate care, and this experience fell far below acceptable standards. As i am already concerned with what is going on within my body, i don't need to feel insecure or ashamed of myself due to a health care professional lack of sympathy for a patient. read more

Had a 1 pm appointment for an ultrasound procedure. Was back in my car at 1:20. Nanette at the front desk was exceptionally helpful in finding some old records as well as making a future appointment. Staff were pleasant and efficient and answered questions professionally. read more

I checked in at 11 for my 11:30 mammogram. I was done and in my car by 11:27! I completed the paperwork online before coming to Tower. That's one reason I was checked in and out so quickly. I also had a wonderful technician. Caitlin was patient, professional, friendly, and super efficient. She worked with me, to put me at ease and to be sure I was as comfortable as one can be when one's breasts are squeezed so tightly that you definitely need to take a breath once the scan is done! I will continue to return to Tower for my annual mammogram screening. I hope Caitlin will be here next July!!! read more

I showed up and my orders had not been sent and they were able to get in touch with the Drs office and get them sent over in time for me to have my appointment. The technicians were terrific, I would have to say it was the most painless mammogram I have ever had. read more

I did not really want to have to have an MRI of the brain and inner auditory canals but I HAD to! And I am so blessed to have been assigned to Tower Radiology - Oldsmar location. The staff is kind (thank you all for working through this whole pandemic with masks on - not an easy task). The facility is super clean and you feel safe. Best of all was my technician, Rose. She is so kind and caring. She is great about explaining the procedure and making sure you know what to expect. Best of all, I have no bruise from where she had to inject the contrast dye! I am grateful for her gentle and efficient way of getting through a not-so-fun procedure. Thank you all - from scheduling (which was easy to do and with a smile over the phone) - to leaving with my MRI on disc in hand (again, thanks to Rose)! I had a 1 pm appointment. I arrived at 12:40 pm, had prefilled all my paperwork the week before. At 1:25 pm they tell me they don't have the referral. I get it faxed writhing 5 minutes and now they tell me they have to do the 1:30 appointment first. They were already running late. Why they didn't tell me they needed the referral when I checked in or the 45 min I was waiting. For this test I was instructed to drink 32 oz of water. I was in pain at this point and they can't tell me when I will be seen. This location always is 30 min to 1 hr behind. Will not be back. Very disorganized. Blaming it on being too busy at the checkin. Perhaps space out your appointments. Not respectful of your patients' time. read more

Very difficult time getting an MRI quickly before the holidays. I called around Pinellas and Tampa 2 week wait at some places. Difficult with work schedule. I knew of the Marketing Director Frank C. from a doctor friend. Frank made a call I got it done ASAP in time to meet back with the doctor and plan a strategy for treatment of my knee and shoulder before Christmas holidays. It was very important to use the holidays to my advantage to heal. Tower Oldsmar was close to where I was on the date so it worked our perfectly. The radiologist Dr. Rao called my doctor and discussed the MRI while I was in the office. Very cool because my doctor is great Sports Medicine Doctor and he thought it wasn't as bad when the initial swelling from the injury went down. Top marks 5 star for Tower, The radiologist Dr. Rao for an immediate read and call to my doctor, and Frank C. the marketing director he made it happen. Old school work values still exist and it's nice to see when you get it. Thanks Frank! read more

Got called back from Tower Radiology but basically said I have to go through the steps of a potential reimbursement from my insurance. Tower recognizes their mistake but punted it to me to spend time correcting their mistake. Just horrible service and seriously feel like you took my money from me with reckless regard. read more

Between two exams on same waiting room, , waiting time is longer than expected , what staff and manager responded was " today is unusually busy , crazy schedule ". But inside is staff running around , no one came up to finish 2nd exam until voiced them for reminding . read more

This is the best radiology center I have ever been to. The people are very friendly, considerate and helpful. I am EXTREMELY CLAUSTROPHOBIC so I was extremely anxious about having to have a brain and orbital MRI. I am also very sensitive to medications and just 10 ml of valium will knock me out... so, they started me with 5 ml of valium and it was just the right amount. They notified me right away when they had a cancellation and I was able to get in the same week I made the appointment instead of having to wait to the following week. Everyone, from the front desk to the tech who handled the MRI was wonderful. Thank you. read more

Worst experience at a radiologist appointment EVER! I've got several medical conditions, so I've had my fair share of X-rays, CT scans and MRI 's. I was told to arrive 1 hour early for sedation, so I arrived at 10:45am, my appointment was at 11:45. At 11:15 I asked about the sedative. The front desk responded with,"oh, there was no note in the system ". I let her know that I had marked it on my paperwork. She said they don't look at that, it's for the tech, but they had no issue finding my email address on the paperwork to send me information to the their portal. Once I asked again about the sedative, I got it at 11:45a. I waited another 1/2 hour before the tech came to get me. She said I told them to tell me when you were ready. I never got that message....I got out of there at 12:50p. Bottom line, their customer service is awful, communication is poor and they really could care less how long you wait for their service. To add a side note...I called prior to see if a specific area would be evaluated in the MRI, and was told it would. When I reviewed my report guess what....it wasn't. Am I surprised, absolutely not! read more
