Got here at 9:30 for my 10 am appt. Was taken back at around 10:50 (10 am appt) where I overheard one person who had already gotten a mammogram and was waiting on ultrasound and said she had to leave because she couldn't be any later to work. After my mammogram I waited for the ultrasound where another person had to leave between these two services because she was also so late for work. 2 people missing diagnostic exams because the examiners were so far behind. And that's just in the 2.5 hours I was there! I understand imaging places are understaffed but to already be running a full hour late at 10 am is terrible planning. Two women leaving between two imaging sessions because they couldn't be any later to work is terrible health care administration. I have to come back in 6 months and I'm going to try and find a location that isn't run this poorly. Wish me luck! read more

When I walked in the receptionist was rude and condescending and talking loudly at me. She demanded my insurance right away and would not listen to me when I explained that I am using a special program benefit through my work to pay. Finally she let me in. Then a lady called me up to collect payment. Unfortunately she also was exceptionally rude. She could not accept a digital payment so she had to enter the card information manually. She did it three times yelling out how it's being declined loudly for everyone to hear. I decided to call the provider who pays and she put them on speaker again for everyone to hear and was quite rude to them. She also complained loudly that I am now late for my appointment due to the errors manually entering the payment information. They read her the number and payment information, which was exactly the same as before and it finally worked. I think she just didn't enter the payment information correctly the first few times. I was so embarrassed. The only reason they get any stars is because my tech who did the imaging was fine. I do not recommend this facility and the way they treated me was horrendous. I do not know why they have such rude office staff. read more

This is the WORST PLACE for Service. I don't know how TGH puts their name on this stupid place!!! 15 people sitting at desks, on cell phones, talking to each other & the line is seven people long with only ONE person for a receptionist. Then they call my number... 504 at window 7, & the lady named ESTHER says... I didn't call anybody... then goes around in circles, then sits back down with my paperwork like it was SOOOO MUCH fkn work. Sorry to take your free work time away from you. Then she has an attitude like she was bothered to do the work. I will NEVER come back to this fkn place!!!! The staff & management SUCKS!!!! Get a makeover & fire a bunch of MF's to regain control of your "Professional" business. TGH.... a leader in medical technology.... with this place thats absolutely a sh!t hole. I had to go in and get my annual mammogram along with a bone density scan. I read so many poor reviews to the point where I was regretting even going, but my appointment had been scheduled for about a month before I even read the reviews. So, I just went with it. And to my surprise, the service was great. After filling out the forms, I waited about 10 minutes before they called me. When I went to the back they had maybe 5 of us together and we all were called back individually by different medical staff. It was very organized and efficient. After doing my mammogram, I then got dressed and was sent over to do my bone density scan. The bone density scan result came back the same day in MyChart. And the mammogram results came back maybe a week and a half later. The quality of care was inline with other places I've gotten mammograms. The entire process took me about 45 min. If I had only gotten the mammogram it probably would have taken 25-30 minutes. I say all that to say this. Make sure you're reading ALL of the reviews. And make sure the reviews are written by reputable reviewers. read more

Easy online scheduling through MyChart. I was surprised to see the earliest available for the test I needed was at least 3 weeks out, but there were a lot of available time slots beyond then. Check in was friendly and quick, just had a one page form to fill out. After a brief wait I was taken back where a staff member confirmed the test I was having and asked about 10 more questions. The scan itself took less than 5 minutes. The entire visit took less than 30 minutes. I was told I could expect results in 2-3 days but actually had my result in MyChart in less than 3 hours! read more

Overall, the experience I have had with TGH Imaging medical providers has been excellent. The experience with TGH Scheduling and "administrative" staffs has been TERRIBLE AND WORTHLESS. On Jan 30, 2026, I received a VM to schedule an appointment recommended by my Physician. However the name of the caller and phone number to return the call were garbled. I called the number associated with the VM and after 20 minutes, the "operator" came on and said she would connect with a scheduler. After another 10 minutes, I was connected to a scheduler. However the number was now listed as a High Risk SPAM number. I had to provide my Medicare and Secondary Insurance information EVEN THOUGH i HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF TGH, TGH IMAGING, AND USE FOR OVER 9 YEARS AND THAT INFORMATION IS ON FILE!!! However, this scheduler stated she did not have access to that information. I requested her name and recorded the number as I did not feel confident in providing that info over the phone since it was ALREADY ON FILE with TGH. read more

THey don't answer phones, there is no way to get in touch with them. They are known for this. I tried all last week to set up an appointment with them, even went personally to N.Dale Mabry office and still couldn't get an appointment. I have visited this location 3 times and if another place was closer to my house and insurance approved it- I would have switched long time ago ... they tell you to come 30 mins prior to your appointment but NO MATTER if it early morning , afternoon or evening, it takes 1 hour passed your scheduled appointment time! So now 1.5 later you are still in the lobby. Ohhh and let's not blame Covid for it because I did tests before covid too same thing happened. Except now I sit in the lobby with a mask on. Not only did I get a scolding for being frustrated at having to wait almost twenty minutes to schedule a test that it took all my courage to call and schedule Shame on Tower Radiology for having such poorly trained people communicating with people who are facing possible life threatening diagnosis. read more

Professional, courteous service, with minimal wait . Have visited many times and this is the Radiology center of my first choice.

If I could give them a zero I would. First, they don't answer their phone to schedule appointments. I was on hold for an hour, and had to leave a message. Someone called me back two days later. I had to wait a month for an appointment despite the fact that I was referred for an abnormality. I pre-registered on-line. I arrived 45 minutes early. I had to fill out 5 more papers for registration. After waiting for one hour they told me that they could not do the imaging because they needed previous imaging. They blamed the mistake on the scheduler. No offer to call for previous imaging or rescheduling appointment was made. Horrible service! read more

They never tried to reach out to find another location or even make me another appointment, I waiting 3 desperate times for 25 minutes on hold. I just went for a chest x'ray. Since they only take a few mimutes, you are unable to make an appointment. With my luck on the day I stopped in to get the c-ray, they informed me they had several patients having scans & it would be a 2 hour wait, what fun.... The waiting ro is dingy, old & crowded. Once you get behind the closed foors, the treatment is excellent. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant & professional. What's a girl to do? I have visited the N Habana Ave location for numerous imaging (PET Scan, CT Scan, Xray, Ultrasound, and Echocardiography. The site can be busy due to its geographic location during business hours, but the wait is short once you are checked in, and your insurance has been verified. Two weeks in a row I showed up for my appointment a few minutes early ( 7:30am and 7:15am). After waiting a while I was told that their computer system would not let them access my records to proceed and I would have to reschedule. If this situation had been reversed and a patient did not show up for an appointment, or cancel in advance then there would be charges. I was not offered a free service or discount if I'd be willing to give them a third chance. Staff seemed more concerned about how this was an inconvenience to them than to me. read more

Terrible service. My apt was at 1 pm. Checked in on phone at 1245 then the email miss advised to sit in car when they really want you to stand in line. Well all would have been fine but I waited 20 min in line and bus loads were coming in. I checked in early and people who came in after got in quickly. I had to arrange a quick MRI cash the marketing director Frank worked with me, he was great. Both of us were athletes, and he understood the urgency of my needs. Great guy, great facility helped solve a situation, when others don't care of are only interested in the money.
