To my…read moredelight, I was greeted by a wonderful office receptionist/mgr , who immediately made me feel welcome and safe. Once back in the exam room, I was welcomed by the sweetest technician, who performed my MRI. He was really wonderful. I had to take a Saturday appt and I was not that happy with. But in retrospect, I'm so lucky because the tech that day, (whose name is Robert), was the gentlest, most kind man, who was understanding & patient with my fears & angst! He had an amazing bedside manner. His priority was clearly my comfort. He was gentle & explained each exam as it happened. I needed a knee & a lower spine MRi. After carefully getting me situated in the machine,, he gave me headphones to help distract with the noise of it, & placed a washcloth over my eyes, He also continuously checked in on me as the exam was being performed, making sure I was doing g ok. He made something I had feared into no big deal. I will be forever grateful for his kindness & gentle approach. In closing I'd happily recommend Palm Harbor MRI, to anyone needing this service. And, If I were you, I'd ask for Robert! Thank you Sir for your kindness & great care!

My doctor originally sent the order to BayCare, but the soonest appointment they had was a month away... at 5:45 a.m. on a Sunday. Absolutely not. So I started calling around and Gulf Coast MRI got me in the very next day. Immediate win. From the moment I walked in, the ladies in the office were AMAZING. This was my first MRI ever -- and I ended up needing two -- and they walked me through everything step by step. They were so kind, so patient, and totally held my hand through the whole process. They didn't take my insurance insurance (but they do take some), but it was $300 per body part, and honestly, between my HSA and what I would've paid toward my deductible anyway, it probably cost me the same (or less). For next-day service? Worth. Every. Penny. The machine is loud (no surprise there), but they let me jam to 80s music the whole time, which made it way less intimidating and honestly kind of a vibe. I walked out with two CDs in hand and they let me know my doctor would have the radiology report within a few business days. Efficient, friendly, professional, and just overall great humans. If you need an MRI and don't want to wait weeks while living in pain, this is your place. Total rock stars!

Made me pay in advance. My insurance covered all but 30.00 and they won't refund my 220.00. I finally got my 220.00 back. It only took 3 months. They lied twice saying it had been refunded but twice I never got a check. They kept saying it had to be approved. My insurance paid the bill why would it need to be approved. Avoid this place. They had the wrong number. Luckily I could pay for the test because I had over an hour drive there. Anyway, the lady at the desk was very friendly and I was sent straight back for the test. The lady performing the test was very nice and explained everything that was going to happen during the test. She kept checking in with me to let me know how long each portion would take. There was 0 wait time and everyone was super nice and professional.

Then i was directed to one of the staff members behind a long counter. I've been here before, so I used the palm scan. It verified everything about me! I brought scans from another imaging center, and mother friendly person took them from me. I filled out some paperwork and a volunteer took me to a separate imaging center for my mammogram. The only downside to this facility is parking. It's a busy place, and if you don't want to hunt or wait for a space, use Valet.

He was fine with this and would come back as he needed it for an appointment coming up. When he took it to the appointment he found that the disc was blank only had the prescription and the report no film. He called BayCare and they said that this may of happened but it could have been the doctor's fault if he did not know how to get into the disc. They told him he has to wait 3 business days and has to drive and pick up another disc. Definitely need to work toward ensuring discs work before giving them to patients as this is a large inconvenient for patients who live 30 minutes plus to pick them up again.

She came to get me in the waiting area, and put me at ease explaining what she was going to do. After my chest X-rays, she asked if I had any questions or needed anything. I was in & out in record time, without feeling rushed. I have been here many times since 2009 for X-rays, ultrasounds, and MRIs. I have always been treated with courtesy and respect.
