Beware.....My friend was sold a faulty vape. When he went in to get a replacement. The worker startedgetting belligerent. my friend was ready to leave and then ask the worker for his name to let his friends know how he was treated. The worker literally kicked him out the door and then followed him out to the parking lot and started trying to beat him with the store sign that's in front of the building. He broke my friend's car fob in the process. Luckily my friend was not hurt. This is the way he was treated for wanting to get a trade for a faulty product. I had gone to "The Head shop" in Ferndale, and the guy was so rude to us. We are Middle Aged women who like high quality glass, and to spend our money. He criticized us for wearing our masks. Had the balls to tell us vaping is not bad for you. He was so arrogant. There is scientific evidence that vaping causes irreversible lung damage. Vaping is worse than smoking. So, we walked right out of there and went to BDT and I will never go back. Stay away from "The Head Shop" in Ferndale and go to BDT!!! read more

I've had great experiences here and some.... not so great. The guys I usually encounter working here are very nice, helpful, seem to care that I will enjoy and find use out of a product. There's a guy that smokes cigarettes here (that's not my problem with him) that is just... rude. For no reason. I asked him about returning an unused vape, he said no returns (then I noticed the piece of paper taped to the register that said no returns) so I accepted it and was trying to leave and... he started arguing with me. Like dude, I get it no returns I'm leaving don't argue with me. Why are you looking for a fight with a customer? Just really rubbed me the wrong way. Edit: not the same incident as whatever you're thinking of. The vape I was bringing back was bought the day before and hadn't even been taken out of the box. A business owner... I came in trying to figure out a solution. Not to pull one over on them. Was very upfront with him the whole time. After reading this review you can tell they have no intent on improving their flaws as a business. To correct a few things in owners response. 1. Again, didn't want a refund. Would have spent more money in the store that day for a better product. 2. Customer is not the expert on policies (1 month, receipt and used) and just listing policies as a reason for not solving a problem seems like an easy but costly cop out. 3. In the response, owner "LOLs" at the thought of the business contacting, or putting the customer in contact with the company to inquire about customer satisfaction. Hope for their employees, who make a living by working there, owner can improve the b business. Customer service is a real thing. read more

I recently purchased a vape pen to replace one I had for a year or so. Purchased a similar model of the same brand. I had some issues with it that weren't obvious until it came time to recharge. I would like to share my experience at this store. I also purchased a vape pen there. After 1 day it stopped working. I took it back to this store with my receipt. I told the clerk my situation and he informed me that he could not do anything and I would have to return and talk to the owner. I responded, that it is inconvenient to return and wasn't there something he could do. His response was, that he didn't like my attitude and he started to get loud. He then proceeded to come out from behind the counter and started to get right up in my face and state that he wanted to go outside and fight me. He proceeded to RIP off his shirt. He yelled that he wasn't going to take my shit and that he was going to kick my Granfpa Ass! At this moment I told him that he's awful lucky that I just had cervical neck surgery. I walked away and up to another clerk who just entered the room. I asked him if he saw what's happening. He said he didn't. He gave me the owners card. I called the owner. He told me he was aware of the incident, but his employees don't act like that. I told him that if he has video, it would be advisable for him to watch it. Then I would expect a call and apology. He told me to go to the manufacture and report my problem and hung up. Never heard from him! What a crappy way to run your business. Spread the word! read more

Today (3/23/16) I stopped in Tha Head Shop during lunch, and experienced the rudest/worst customer service of all time. The employee didn't greet us, answered our questions in a checked-out, annoyed, tone and wasn't friendly at all. A few minutes later I reached out to check out an item, and I was promptly told "no touching the products!". Of course I said "I'm sorry, how much is this?". The employee responded "$65". At least a solid minute later, the employee tells me "You don't see me coming to your house and touching your stuff". Additionally, I have shopped at this store a handful of times, and have even recommended it to my friends, but I will never shop there again after today's experience. read more

I am not going back to these guys, everytime I go in with a set plan on what I want to vape they come at me with some new delicious vape flavor that has me second guessing my life decisions. Ok, so I bought this pollen press for $50 in store. It has an aluminum body, and steel threads, for the pressing handle. It is made of metal, so one would think it would last a long time. I used it MAYBE 20 times, and the threads for the press stripped right out, and now it will not work at all. I looked online, and this exact press is like on amazon is $14.84, and the reviews are horrible. I tried to return it to either get a replacement or return it and get a better one for more money. When I told the man, (I think he is the owner) that I used it 20 times maybe and it stripped, he just said " I can't do anything for you. Not apologetic at all, did not even care, and I think he knew it was a junk product, and that is why he won't do anything at all, he is trying to get rid of the junk and keep the profits as the customers suffer the consequences. So he probably paid $10 for this junk from his distributor, and sold it to me for $50, pocketed the $35, and went on about his day. I was a new customer, and figured I would try this store, and I now regret it. And all this from the store that put "for we are a business that is going to break our back to please the customers"... in the yelp description, I beg to differ, stay away. Why would you even carry cheap Chinese junk, and then not warranty or at least replace the crappy product, which you should not even be carrying anyway. enjoy your first review, thanks I wont be back ever, thanks for letting me know how it is.
