We decided to eat here on our 1st night in Boracay. We ordered the Thai egg rolls for an appetizer, my bf ordered Thai chicken fried rice, and I ordered the chicken pad Thai. The eggs rolls were ok. Oily. Should've been drained before serving. There was a lot of oil on the plate. The chicken fried rice was also ok. Nothing spectacular about it. My pad Thai was so-so as well. I've been to many Thai restaurants. And I know how awesome thai cuisine can be! This place just didn't really hit the mark. And I don't get why it took so long to get our food either. American perspective, we dinned at Thai-Basil this evening and the food did not disappoint. My favorite dish was the cashew-nut-chicken, but the others were good, too. Started with the coconut-chicken soup, the spoon doesn't fit the bowl, but soup was flavorful. Chicken-satay, I did not try but all was eaten. For dessert we shared the vanilla ice-cream with fried banana. While I would have preferred coconut-ice-cream, it was still pretty great. The service was good, albeit slow. Located in D'Mall. This was one of the better eats I had in Boracay - and it came at a high price. $17 USD for 2 entrees, w/ 2 beers $20. It wasn't better than good Thai spots in LA, but it was a nice break from the other overpriced meh-restaurants. The dessert from the lunch set was heaven. Order more of that if you love sticky rice & mango. read more

I like Filipino food a lot, but sometimes I crave that flavor explosion in your mouth that only Thai food can provide. We had passed by Thai Basil in D'Mall many times and finally went for dinner a few nights ago. The space is very clean and inviting and the cheerful hostess seated us immediately at the last available table. I was happy to see fresh spring rolls on the menu so I ordered that as a starter and then spicy pork and basil for my entree. My gf had spicy chicken wings and a rice dish. The generous portions were nicely presented and the food quality was excellent...fresh and delicious. I shall return for sure! read more

Cool little spot at D'mall where you can have a bucket of beer and a free appetizer and people watch. We got a combo of Red Horse and San Mig Light which came with fried spring rolls. I also ordered a Thai iced coffee. I would definitely go back and try other dishes. read more

This place has a very large option of authentic Thai dishes. You can order options that vary from all corners of Thailand. The only downfall is the high price tag of every meal and the drinks. 2 mains and 2 not so good teas set me back almost $20 US. read more

Hello. We ordered chicken phadthai and yellow curry. As a desert we've ordered sticky rice with mango. The phadthai was tasting good, well not the best I have ever eaten, bit still delicious. The chicken yellow curry was good (medium spicy), but for a hungry person definitely too less. The sticky rice with mango was as to imagine. Good tust they separate the sweet condensed milk. All in all able to recommend, for those who are into Thai food. read more
