Bought a thai combo package with cupping add on as a birthday gift and specifically included a note that this would be the person's first time ever getting a massage and asked not to tell them the price. However when the birthday person arrived for the massage they not only told them the specific cost (ruining the gift) and gave him no choice as to what would be part of the combo. They picked for him with no explanation and the massage was not tailored to his needs or desires whatsoever (unlike what the description on the website specifically states). When he asked for them to reduce pressure and voiced the pain they said that's just how it is. He could only describe the massage as painful and that's never what you want to get out of an experience like this. They can barely speak English which did not help. It's definitely different from a spa that you might over pay for the amenities, but the quality of the massage and their willingness to accommodate you is above anything I've experienced. I've walked in, I've called half an hour ahead, and I've scheduled in advance and there has never been an issue with accommodation. I always feel relieved and been treated with a personal touch. You don't get that at most places where the massage therapists go through the motions of their massage. I've never gotten the same massage twice there. I like that it's a little more lax and informal. I love that they incorporate stretching into the massage. You get a hot tea or water before and they give you a water bottle after. I have gone here many times over the past year or so and love this place! First and foremost it is clean and comfortable. The therapists are friendly and highly skilled, as one would expect. I don't have a particular therapists that I use. However, so far all of them have given me a great massage. All of them are capable of giving a great deep tissue and Thai massage. My experience has been that they also are very receptive to feedback. So if the massage is a bit too hard or soft, they can adjust accordingly. The stretching is awesome as well!
