    Ginger vegetable entree
    Aaron C.

Very disappointed in the value and taste of this restaurant. $16 ginger vegetable entree and barely received half of a bowl ( photo attached) and it was salty. I didn't get a picture of the chicken satay that was suppose to be 5 pieces but it was more like 3 cut up into uneven pieces that didn't resemble what a typical satay looks like. Even the side of the jasmine rice that came with the entree was barely a scoop of rice. Disappointing to say the least, looked as if someone are half our food.

We had triple seafood, drunken noodles, pad thai, yellow curry, and Thai sampler. Food was fresh, flavorful, and hot. Atmosphere was homey and the staff was friendly. We got a few cookies and small cup of hot tea after dinner that was so yummy.

I needed dinner for Christmas Day and this place delivered ten fold! They were so nice even for how late we came in, we got the Pad Thai and Tom Ka! It was done so quickly we had to finish eating the delicious complimentary drinks and cookies. The food is delicious and I'm very grateful they provided their service after hours :) I'm 100% coming back!

The staff was welcoming and service us fast. The place was neat and clean. Food was really good, Pad Thai was cook perfect even with the tofu was crispy on the outside and soft inside. Green Curry was really good my partner enjoy it! The portion was small but taste great! I loveee the Thai Iced Coffee, not too sweet which is good. We will come back for more food to try.

    Cashew Chicken

Cashew Chicken is the best we've had! FULL of flavor!! Her "special tea" is great (no sugar needed). Place is very old and not update. But who doesn't like a great hole-in-the-wall?

The inside is not anything special. It looks to be a long time. Family run restaurant and there isn't anything new and shiny about it but I enjoyed my meal and it was tasty. I like heat so I asked for a medium spice and I enjoyed it. My husband asked for mild and he thought it was super hot lol. I'd say if you truly like spice, you will enjoy the flavors here. This was also my kids' first time trying Thai food. Surprisingly, they liked it as I left out the spice from their orders.

They always go above and beyond at Thai Island. From the minute we walk in, I feel like I'm walking in to visit family. It's comfy and welcoming. The food makes me do a happy dance the whole time. The way they care for us and bring us little things to try or recommend sauces just feels extra special. It really is a whole experience, and it's forever one of our favorites!

Stopped by Thai island because we normally get take out from here but wanted to have it fresh. I missed getting photos of most things but we ordered Thai Spring Rolls to start which never disappoint. I also love ordering Larb because it's so refreshing! Then for my entree I had pad ta Kari which is a stir fried lemongrass chicken and shrimp. It's served with rice and was so delicious and full of flavor! The sweet surprise came at the end when the owner gave us some tea and cookies. She said they're home made and it was the sweetest thing. Stopped by to dine in made it feel like you were visiting someone's home. The service is also quick and kind. Highly recommend trying to dine in one day if you normally order take out!

The place in a strip mall, with ample parking. Our order turn around was fast. They gave us cookies to nimble. The pad Thai was good. It was tasty, but too soggy. The spring rolls was what I expected. The tom Yang soup tasted like one. The only down side was we ordered one spicy and one not spicy. Both came spicy. The fried calamari smelled so fishy when it arrived, I tried it and it tasted bad. The owner took it off our bill. The service recovery was good. Another thing that I noticed once you enter is the restaurant looked like the owners living room. One corner has plenty of clutter. The staff/owner was very friendly and personable.

I am a self proclaimed pad Thai connoisseur and this one is GREAT. Perfect flavor, sauce tasted amazing, big portion size and only $15.

    Jasmine tea

My girlfriend and I both have a bad head cold and the sweet old lady greeted us with patience and love. We ordered a haul order to go but she could hear our cold from our voice and she hospitably served us some hot jasmine tea and some crackers. The whole experience felt like a warm hug from my grandma.

    Total waste :/

Was ok. We ordered quite a bit of the menu and was not overly impressed. The portions were good sized, the vegetables were fresh and crisp.

What are the hours? We are here at 8:30pm on a Saturday & it's closed. -_-

This is a question that can only be answered by the owners! Why ask other customers? I hear your frustration, though. Now in Korea, I find this situation almost daily! ...with no hours posted. Or hour posted but nobody there during posted hours.

We ordered the oysters, which were delicious and came with a green sauce that had just the right amount of spice. We also had the Yum Ta Krai Salmon, which tasted incredibly fresh. The Goong Prik Kluea shrimp were large, flavorful, and perfectly cooked! Our favorite dishes of the night were definitely the chicken Tom Kha soup and the Pa Nang scallops. I love a good Tom Kha soup, and this was easily the best I've ever had! It was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, served over a special dish with a flame underneath to keep it hot throughout the meal, such a nice touch! The other standout was the Pa Nang scallops. Whoever makes the sauce for this dish is a genius! I almost wanted to grab a straw and drink the sauce by itself. The scallops were cooked perfectly, and the flavors were incredible. Wow! They also have a great drink menu, but we took advantage of their happy hour specials and ordered a passion fruit mimosa and a coconut mojito. Both had authentic, fresh fruit flavors and paired perfectly with the meal. There is also a speakeasy bar called NOIR, where you can hang out before or after dinner. Great music, great drinks, and definitely worth checking out!
