Literally the best pad see ew I've ever had! The noodles had just the right amount of chew and were shorter than I normally see. I don't know if they make them in-house, but I wouldn't be surprised! My friend ordered the Penang curry - also the best I've ever had! I've been to dozens of different Thai places around central Florida, but the curry flavor here turns up the volume a few notches. Stopped into this place on the way out of town after seeing it on the Michelin Guide, and I'm glad I did! The decor was very modern and trendy, the service was attentive and super fast (extra appreciated since we had our sleeping little one in tow) and the food was delicious. I asked our server what she would recommend and she steered my right with the stir fry basil with a fried egg on top. I decided to get some Pad Thai with Shrimp. It did not disappoint! The generous amount of noodles and perfectly cooked shrimp was a treat! I usually get the same dish every time, but I know that Isan Zaap won a contest for Pad Thai, so I knew I was in good hands. Another notable point is that this restaurant has received the Michelin Bib Gourmand for several years. Unlike the Michelin Star, which some confuse it for, it is given to restaurants with a more comparable price point than fine dining offers. The food is made fresh to order, so sometimes it can take a little bit, but I have never had to wait an overly long amount of time. I love this place so much, quite often I will order an extra plate of food like Panang Curry over rice and take it to work for lunch. Stopped by Isan Zaap Thai while passing through Orlando, and it's easy to see why they've earned Michelin recognition three years in a row. We started with the chicken gyoza and coconut shrimp--honestly, both were skippable. They tasted like something straight out of a frozen bag and didn't really set the tone for what was to come. Thankfully, the entrées completely turned things around. The chicken pad Thai, Chinese broccoli with shrimp, and blue crab fried rice were all outstanding--packed with flavor and clearly the stars of the menu. We ordered everything medium spice, which definitely had a kick. Even as people who enjoy spice, we'd probably go light next time. We wrapped things up with mango sticky rice, which was the perfect sweet finish. Overall, a bit of a mixed start, but the mains more than delivered. We went around dinner 6:15 pm and luckily did not have to wait too long to get seated. The place was indeed packed. We ordered sodas, Thai ice tea, gyoza, grilled pork neck, crispy fish in the garden, Tom Kha Seafood, and a few things to go. My favorite is the crispy fish. It was the right amount of crunch and came with 2 dipping sauces to complete the taste when I wrapped with lettuce and topped with vermicelli. The Tom Kha soup was the least sour off the menu from what the waitress told me. It has great flavor but probably won't order again. My husband ordered the pad Thai to go (no picture) and it was so good. I don't normally like pad Thai and I agree. He also said the noodle used in the Pad Thai dish is authentic to what is used for traditional Pad Thai. He would know since he is Thai. I also ordered the mango sticky rice (no picture) for dessert and I really liked that the ratio was more mango than rice which most places do the opposite. The only reason why I knocked it down a star is because the extra rice cost $3 a bowl and the sodas were $4 each. I get this is a Michelin star place and I expect the food itself to be pricey but for sides of rice and sodas? That really turned me off. Other than that part the food was great! read more

Hype is real this place is the best Thai restaurant I've ever had. Close to the parks I thought it'd be a tourist trap, but my wife and I been here twice and both times we were just blown away by the food. The flavors are just delicious perfectly balanced of salty, sweet, and SPICY. Mild medium or hot are the three options of heat and man, medium is already pretty spicy I don't think I'll ever want to experience hot. We've tried the seafood papaya salad, regular thai salad, pad see ew, pad thai and their thai milk tea is as good as anywhere. Mains: chicken pad Thai (Thai spice level) and grilled crying tiger . The spice level was enough to get your nose cleared a bit but yet tasty and made you not want to stop. The grilled crying tiger was perfect cuts of tenderloin with a delicious side sauce. Each plate was eaten clean ... we wanted to lie and said we dropped it just to receive extra portions. Dessert: mango sticky rice with a coco cream. This was by far the best sticky rice I have had in my 4 decades on this planet. The. Mango was perfectly ripened.. the rice was optimal Texture and the coconut cream was divine . Again , these were all recommendations from our server and she knocked it out of the park. This is my go to in the Millenia area for Thai food! They have ample parking and plenty of seating in the restaurant itself. I love the theming they have for the restaurant. It feels like you're walking into Thailand and also very relaxing and not overstimulating. The servers are also very helpful if you have questions and attentive throughout my dinner. I typically get their curry pastry puffs which is amazing, pad thai, and their fried rice. My latest obsession is Tom Kha Gai which they do a phenomenal job in! There was no wait when we arrived, but it steadily got busier during our meal--which is always a good sign. The food was delicious and tasted very authentic. I ordered the Tom Yum seafood soup at medium spice, and it definitely had a kick. If you're not great with spice, I'd recommend going mild. I also had the beef Pad Thai, which tasted great, though I wish I had asked if it could be made spicy--that was the only thing missing for me. We also tried the grilled squid. It was a good-sized squid and nicely prepared, but for a single squid, it did feel a bit pricey. Overall, the pricing is slightly higher than I expected, though that may just be the reality with inflation these days. The inside of the restaurant is decent--nothing super fancy, but comfortable. I love that they include shrimp, squid, and fish as protein options, although it is more pricey. I was a little worried that some of the portion sizes seemed on the smaller side when it comes to Thai food, like the pad see ew, but it was actually pretty filling! Special highlight for me was the Tom Kha, it was so creamy and flavorful. It came in one of those dishes that allows for a flame to underneath, boiling the soup, so I kind of wish they included that, but not the biggest deal. We chose this spot because they had boat noodle on the menu. We're noodle heads, so after having BBH twice in a row, we wanted something different. The boat noodle here is delicious. The soup is rich and flavorful, not overly sweet, and they top it off with hella pork rinds! Love that! You can ask for a spice rack and pickled jalapenos to make your broth spicier. My sister and I shared the pad thai and panang curry. The pad thai was cooked well, and the perfect size for two. The panang curry was delicious but the curry itself was on the thinner side. Highly recommend this one with beef. I love the addition of green beans in the curry. All the veggies were cooked perfectly too. We asked for everything to be medium spicy. The pad thai wasn't spicy at all but the curry had a good heat to it. Can't remember if we ordered a side of rice, or if it came with it. The fried wings were good. Party wings with a side of sweet chili dipping sauce. No batter on the wings. Kinda pricey for what it is though. I'd recommend a different app but my little one loves plain chicken. We had a fresh coconut and I love that they hot stamp it with their restaurant name. They're going for a modern, upscale vibe and I'm here for it. It's hard to find authentic Thai food outside of thailand and this place nailed it. The rare beef was so delicious that we actually ate here 2 more times. Also the laab croquets is something unique. You won't find these outside of thailand and it was a delicious surprise. The decor is very nice. When you first walk in, the place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Isan Zaap is the BEST Thai food I've ever had. So glad this gem is located in our city. We don't know how they do it, but everything we've had here has been amazing. Our favorite dishes have been the Papaya Salad, Grilled Squid, Pad See Ew, and Pad Thai. Be warned that if you order something Spicy, it's gonna be SPICY. The Spicy Papaya Salad made me cry, but I couldn't stop eating it. Highly recommend the grilled squid because they make it perfectly and it's tender and chewy, without being rubbery. I love the lime sauce that they serve with it -- it's amazing. Both noodle dishes are literally so tasty and honestly a joy to eat; the portions are generous and we always take stuff home. I stopped in and tried the Lao papaya salad, Thai papaya salad, Pad Thai, and the beef jerky. If you like spicy food, they definitely deliver. It had plenty of spice but almost no flavor otherwise. I was expecting the balance of sour, sweet, and salty that's typical, but it tasted mostly like heat, so I couldn't finish it. The Thai papaya salad was much better. It had more flavor and was enjoyable, although I still would have liked it to be a little more sour and salty. The Pad Thai was good overall. It could have used just a bit more seasoning to make the flavors pop, but it was still a solid dish. The standout for me was the beef jerky. It was delicious, and the dipping sauce was excellent--a sweet, tangy sauce with toasted rice flour that paired perfectly with the jerky. The place does look clean and inviting and nicely decorated. Staff was helpful given I placed the order in the last hour of them being open. But they also made it a point to let me know that they will be closing soon. Overall, the food was decent. This spot is right next to mochinut after grabbing dessert I figured why not grab food. Decided to give this Thai place a try, it seemed a little understaffed. It was also pretty busy. We were seated and waited a bit before anyone came over to assist. After ordering the food took a while to arrive, it seemed as though the chefs cook the other tables orders first for ex: the table next to me ordered about 4-5 different dishes and we waited till all of their food was cooked and then the chefs cooked our food. I ordered the stir friend Chinese broccoli with chicken - this was OK unfortunately the chicken and veggies tasted like they were dipped in soy sauce and that's it. Definitely one of my fave Thai restaurants that I have found. For this visit, I asked for recommendations, the server we had was excellent and highly recommended the green curry w/ shrimp. This is a dish that I honestly never choose and I was happy that I did. I loved the depth of flavor and I couldn't stop eating it. I did ask for it mild and since I am a woose when it comes to heat, I did still feel it, but it was just so good I couldn't stop. I loved the Pad Thai here also. I loved how saucy and sweet it was. Hands down best Thai food in the USA I've been too. Highlights: -I'm not a fan of pad Thai but it's good here - also, this is the only one that heats up well if you have leftovers -their squid is out of this world. Their dipping sauce just elevates it further -pad kee mao is so good! Normally I eat pad see ew at a Thai place because that's their most popular flat noodle dish but it's not my preference as it doesn't have a lot of other things in the dish and is a bit on the sweeter side - I'm a spice demon so pad kee mao is more up my alley. Spicy hot level is perfect for me! I dare not try Thai hot, I've been burned too many times before. I will say their beef protein for the noodles dishes err a bit on the dry side. Overall I was pleased with how fast and responsive the service was here. We called and within 5 minutes they literally had our orders ready!
