    Pad Thai and Green Curry
    Beatrice P.

The staff was very kind and knowledgeable about allergens. The place its wet log is clean and family friendly. It is located in a small strip mall next to Costco. The food was great. I particularly loved the Pad Thai. The green curry was also very good. Be aware that even the mild green curry had a kick to it. I will be stopping there every time I am in the area.

The staff was really nice, but the food was just okay, curry was runny & had too much green bell peppers as filler, the spring rolls taste like they were previously frozen, but the veggies were good. The drinks weren't strong enough.

Stopped into this place on the way out of town after seeing it on the Michelin Guide, and I'm glad I did! The decor was very modern and trendy, the service was attentive and super fast (extra appreciated since we had our sleeping little one in tow) and the food was delicious. I asked our server what she would recommend and she steered my right with the stir fry basil with a fried egg on top. I'm usually not a huge fan of pork, but I ate my meal so fast I barely had time to snap this photo!

I ordered to go. It's a perfect place for lunch. I ordered the Thai Rice with Chicken from the lunch menu. The food is fresh and well cooked. I really enjoyed the vegetables. Staff is friendly and polite. My ordered was ready within a reasonable time. I really enjoyed their Thai Ice Tea.

I decided to get some Pad Thai with Shrimp. It did not disappoint! The generous amount of noodles and perfectly cooked shrimp was a treat! I usually get the same dish every time, but I know that Isan Zaap won a contest for Pad Thai, so I knew I was in good hands. Another notable point is that this restaurant has received the Michelin Bib Gourmand for several years. Unlike the Michelin Star, which some confuse it for, it is given to restaurants with a more comparable price point than fine dining offers. The food is made fresh to order, so sometimes it can take a little bit, but I have never had to wait an overly long amount of time. I love this place so much, quite often I will order an extra plate of food like Panang Curry over rice and take it to work for lunch. The thai tea is delicious, but it has a lot of caffeine, so I opted for a soda this time.

Stopped by Isan Zaap Thai while passing through Orlando, and it's easy to see why they've earned Michelin recognition three years in a row. We started with the chicken gyoza and coconut shrimp--honestly, both were skippable. They tasted like something straight out of a frozen bag and didn't really set the tone for what was to come. Thankfully, the entrées completely turned things around. The chicken pad Thai, Chinese broccoli with shrimp, and blue crab fried rice were all outstanding--packed with flavor and clearly the stars of the menu. We ordered everything medium spice, which definitely had a kick. Even as people who enjoy spice, we'd probably go light next time. We wrapped things up with mango sticky rice, which was the perfect sweet finish. Overall, a bit of a mixed start, but the mains more than delivered. I'll definitely be back next time I'm passing through Orlando.

Place is unassuming but the food is great. The pad Thai was delicious. Server was nice. Would come back again.

I was basic and got the pad Thai. Tofu was cooked to perfection and the noodles were stretchy and silky. My mouth couldn't handle the "Mild" spice sadly so it was hard to finish the dish. The flavor was fairly sweet and nutty. Thai tea was probably the best I've had in my life.

    Crispy Fish in the Garden

We went around dinner 6:15 pm and luckily did not have to wait too long to get seated. The place was indeed packed. We ordered sodas, Thai ice tea, gyoza, grilled pork neck, crispy fish in the garden, Tom Kha Seafood, and a few things to go. My favorite is the crispy fish. It was the right amount of crunch and came with 2 dipping sauces to complete the taste when I wrapped with lettuce and topped with vermicelli. The Tom Kha soup was the least sour off the menu from what the waitress told me. It has great flavor but probably won't order again. My husband ordered the pad Thai to go (no picture) and it was so good. I don't normally like pad Thai and I agree. He also said the noodle used in the Pad Thai dish is authentic to what is used for traditional Pad Thai. He would know since he is Thai. I also ordered the mango sticky rice (no picture) for dessert and I really liked that the ratio was more mango than rice which most places do the opposite. The only reason why I knocked it down a star is because the extra rice cost $3 a bowl and the sodas were $4 each. I get this is a Michelin star place and I expect the food itself to be pricey but for sides of rice and sodas? That really turned me off. Other than that part the food was great!

Hype is real this place is the best Thai restaurant I've ever had. Close to the parks I thought it'd be a tourist trap, but my wife and I been here twice and both times we were just blown away by the food. The flavors are just delicious perfectly balanced of salty, sweet, and SPICY. Mild medium or hot are the three options of heat and man, medium is already pretty spicy I don't think I'll ever want to experience hot. We've tried the seafood papaya salad, regular thai salad, pad see ew, pad thai and their thai milk tea is as good as anywhere. Food is made to order so it is fresh and just really delicious, great portions and oh their service is really great.

In short : I could've eaten 3 times more ! This Thai spot scored a Michelin Bib gourmand but easily could've been a One Star. Isan Zaap Thai cafe is based on the northeast region with Laotian overlaps. Northeastern Thai food is known to be spicer and more flavorful. I found this to be very true today . The ambiance is nice and quaint . It's a small Establishment in a strip plaza. I'm not sure how other place survive next to Them. ARE PEOPLE UNAWARE OF THIS SPOT?!?! Anyway, I came here with my cousin who also has two stomach and we decided to order everything the server recommended. Appetizers: we ordered the Isan Sausage and Thai chicken and wings. My first bite of the sausage was like being in pork heaven.. the flavor profile was insane. The chicken wings were fresh.. perfectly fried and the dipping sauce was a nice touch . Mains: chicken pad Thai (Thai spice level) and grilled crying tiger . The spice level was enough to get your nose cleared a bit but yet tasty and made you not want to stop. The grilled crying tiger was perfect cuts of tenderloin with a delicious side sauce. Each plate was eaten clean ... we wanted to lie and said we dropped it just to receive extra portions. Dessert: mango sticky rice with a coco cream. This was by far the best sticky rice I have had in my 4 decades on this planet. The. Mango was perfectly ripened.. the rice was optimal Texture and the coconut cream was divine . Again , these were all recommendations from our server and she knocked it out of the park. I'm here in Orlando for work for the rest of the year and I will definitely be back.. if you want authentic Thai food at a decent price point Come here ! Try everything ! They won't disappoint!

Went to Isan Zaap with my mom and she picked a really good spot. Everything we tried was tasty and well prepared. My favorite was the pad Thai, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The highlight of the meal was the service. Super friendly and made great recommendations. Definitely a place I'd go back to.

This is my go to in the Millenia area for Thai food! They have ample parking and plenty of seating in the restaurant itself. I love the theming they have for the restaurant. It feels like you're walking into Thailand and also very relaxing and not overstimulating. The servers are also very helpful if you have questions and attentive throughout my dinner. I typically get their curry pastry puffs which is amazing, pad thai, and their fried rice. My latest obsession is Tom Kha Gai which they do a phenomenal job in! I love that their menu allows for me to request for something to be spicy even if it doesn't normally come that way.

Not only did they seamlessly handle our larger group with ease but they offered excellent service paired with amazing food and drinks all delivered in a timely fashion. Be reminded that the tip is already included with large groups. Talay is a Thai cuisine restaurant and the gorgeous interior matches the elevated menu. I was immediately in awe of the gorgeous interior design featuring wooden accents and furniture, neutral color tones and soft lighting. I felt like I was in Thailand at a resort on the beach. For drinks every single person had something visually pleasing and equally delicious. My drink was the Gimme Guava which is Vodka, plum syrup, guava and lime. It's a bit pricier for the quantity but worth it for the quality and presentation. For food they do have a seafood forward Thai menu but I stuck to a classic and got the Keaw Wan Gai which is white meat chicken in green curry, bamboo shoots, bell peppers, Thai basil, coconut milk. It was delicious and the portion was very fair sized in my opinion. Every single dish on our table was beautiful and each person LOVED their dish. I think it's really great that my vegan friend had delicious options as well. He ordered the Por Pia Tod which was spring rolls and they were delicious. He also got some type of grilled tofu and let me just say it was tasty and cooked to perfection. Overall it was a excellent experience and I am so excited to come back and try other dishes.
