Saigon Noodle & Grill is a great contemporary Vietnamese spot in the heart of the Milk District. The staff was super friendly and helpful--our server gave amazing recommendations, and we ended up trying a little bit of everything. We started with the crispy chicken dumplings--crispy on the outside with a juicy, tender chicken filling. Perfect way to kick things off. We continued with three items: Beef Stew (Bún Bò Kho), Orange Chicken, and Sautéed Cubed Beef "Shaking Beef" (Cơm Bò Lúc Lắc). The Beef Stew (Bún Bò Kho) was heaven on a dish. The beef stew was easily the standout--rich, flavorful, and the beef was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. The vermicelli noodles were just as impressive. Just reminiscing about it makes my mouth water. The "Shaking Beef" was served over white rice (highly recommend), and every bite was better than the last. The garlic butter sauce really takes it over the top. Don't be fooled by the Orange Chicken--Boneless chicken, fried perfectly and coated in their authentic sweet orange sauce. The best Orange Chicken in town, hands down. No chance of leftovers here--you won't want to put your fork down. read more

Honestly, it's what you want in a lunch (in my opinion): Good food, quick service, chill atmosphere. Another thing I liked about this place is also that they have a decent amount of menu options. I'm a big pho lover and a total Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives fan, so when I saw Guy had been here, I had to check it out. I started simple with the summer rolls, cheap, fresh, and came with this sweet peanut sauce that hit just right. The waiter who helped us was super friendly and helped us figure out what to order. We went with the combo pho that had everything: rare steak, brisket, flank, tendon, tripe, and meatballs. The broth was flavorful and you can't go wrong with all the fixings like Thai basil, bean sprouts, hoisin, and a little sriracha. I love that it's clearly family-owned. The inside hasn't been updated in forever but honestly, that's part of the charm. I even noticed a party room in the back which is such a cool touch. Service was fast too. We stopped in for lunch. The restaurant is much nicer on the inside than the appearance of the exterior. We were greeted by Lee and taken to a booth. After reviewing the extensive menu, Lee asked what we liked ~ seafood, soup, salad? He took our menus and we left our selections in his hands. The Shaken beef salad bowl was the best of our two dishes. The beef was very tender, cooked a perfect medium rare and very tasty. The chicken shrimp dish was also cooked perfectly but the sauce was a little too sweet for me and the vegetables were mostly large slices of onions. The Shaking Beef was good but pretty standard, and the Guys pick was a unique taste but also good. I felt from other's comments I was expecting something a bit more surprising but I thought overall it was quite average. I have lived in Orlando for 18 years and I am mad that this is my first time dining at Saigon. What a gem! The menu is extensive, there is something for anyone from soups, noodles, rice dishes, traditional dishes, and all at a pretty reasonable price point. I started with the wonton soup which had 5 pork-filled wontons and a delicious broth that was not over-salted. For dinner, I had the shaker beef, which was the star of the show. With tender beef pieces in a sweet garlic butter sauce - YUM! My husband had the chicken pho and it was MASSIVE, packed with fresh vegetables and noodles. The kids enjoyed the clear noodles with chicken, also packed with vegetables. Mom approved! Now for the service. My kids couldn't stop laughing and playing with our waiter who was also the owner. What a nice guy. He made the kid's evening and was of course super attentive. All the staff help out throughout the restaurant. You gotta check this place out :). read more

Stopped by recently with some friends for dinner and everything came out delicious. We ordered everything from the pho, bo kho and bun Bo hue. Everything was flavorful and authentic. The broths were rich in flavor and did not have a lot of MSG. Our servers were attentive and kind. They have a stage where they host venues and events. The seating here is perfect for small to large sized parties. Highly recommend coming here if you want some great Vietnamese food. One of the highest rated Vietnamese spots in the area. Came on a Thursday for lunch. Not very busy but limited parking. Interior is unpretentiously decorated. Their menu makes a big deal about being featured in DDD. They even point out what Guy ordered or liked. So many varieties of pho offered on the menu. I selected the pho combo, mildly spicy together with a summer roll. Both are delicious. The summer roll is amply sized. The broth of the pho is flavorful not like in some other places where the broth is definitely bland. Serving is generous even for a regular sized bowl. Service was prompt and attentive but not intrusive. Summer roll came out with hardly a wait and the pho came soon after. I definitely recommend this place and in fact next time I'm in Orlando, I'll swing by this place to try something else. read more

Our first time here after hearing about it years ago and seeing it was on one of Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Parking lot is really tight and small. Restaurant is not that big and gives out real 80's style feeling. We came in a Wednesday afternoon about 1pm and it wasn't too busy. The server came over right away and it looks like he was the owner. Man with very little words. We ordered appetizer of egg rolls and crispy quail. The egg rolls were ok. Wasn't anything to rave about. The crispy quail was a hit. So delicious and came with salt, pepper, lemon dipping sauce. It had great flavor. Hubby was very satisfied. As for the meal, I had the special Pho which comes with everything. It was very good. Wish it came with more meat but good nonetheless. Hubby had the seafood noodles (Hu Tieu) and he loved it. Everything that I have ordered here has been delicious. The shaking beef rice dish, vermicelli with beef and lemongrass, Round eye beef pho, summer rolls and spring rolls... And I can't forget the ice cream sandwich shaped as a fish. My favorite! During the pandemic, I ordered one of these dishes at least once or twice a week. Including the ice cream. The ice cream came perfectly cold. And the meals are always spot on and tasty. The service has always been great. Greeted with a smile and always great recommendations. You can't go wrong with a stop at Saigon Noodle and Grill. Stopped in today for a late lunch and started with spring rolls and then had their amazing Vietnamese Iced coffee with our entrees. Our server asked what we liked and what we were in the mood for and then suggested entrees to bring based on our likes. Both of his suggestions were perfect! One was a the K2 Udon noodle stir fry combo with pork, chicken, squid, shrimp and plenty of veggies. The other was a Sautéed Beef and Onion Vermicelli with a slightly sweet sauce. Needless to say we'll be skipping dinner this evening and definitely going back again soon. read more

I love everything I've ever eaten from here. Besides the fact that this place has had the wonderful opportunity to be featured on Food Network's Triple D, they have a fantastic menu and incredible service. Lee was such a joy to chat with, make suggestions on the menu and share some secret hot sauce as well. I'm glad there are several vegan options on the menu including the happy hour menu too. The washrooms were clean and there's also plenty of free parking. It looks as though you can host parties here as well. Holy moly. Just wow! Now I know why Guy Fieri chose Saigon to feature in his show. I usually go to a nearby Pho joint that I adore, but we decided to give Saigon a shot and were NOT disappointed! The Vegetarian Pho is amazing, the broth tasty, and veggies plentiful. I just love Bok Choy which they add to the dish. We have now come to Saigon a couple of times, and also have had the Summer rolls and side soup, which again YUMMMMMM. Everything is so tasty! First let me address some of the other reviews: this place DOES have ambiance! It is just not fancy or high brow. And yes there is a small banquet space on one side of the restaurant. It's all part of the charm. Okay onto the food...we had summer rolls, vegetable/tofu pho, beef pho, and shaking beef all authentic and delicious! Portions were large. The waiter made a joke that people complain that they put too much meat in the soup- which was funny but borderline true! The service was excellent! All of the staff were friendly and attentive. Oh and a final ambiance comment: tik tok videos of cats and dogs play on a big screen in a non-stop loop adding to the kitsch. P.S. Guy Fieri featured this place on his show so his signed poster is proudly displayed on the wall. This is not why we picked this restaurant but a good indicator of how good the food is. read more

From the outside it doesn't look like anything special but once you enter it opens up into a charming space with Vietnamese decor, paintings, and of course, the famous Guy Fieri autographed poster. Which funny enough they were able to sit us under when we arrived. The owner is super chill, friendly, and helps first timers navigate the menu quickly and easily. He suggested ordering some dumplings to start out with so we ordered them crispy. They came out fresh, hot, crunchy, and paired nicely with the side sauce. I ordered the #6 Pho with beef & meatballs which was delicious and the best pho I have had in Orlando so far. The broth was savory and well balanced with the generous serving of thin fresh rice noodles and perfect portion of sliced meat for an individual. They also bring a plate loaded with fresh bean sprouts and other fragrant herbs. The price for their soup selections are very fair for the quality given. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping by for a meal! Their dessert menu looked yummy but I was too full that day.
