I was driving through Lima, OH on a biz trip. I travel extensively and have tried several Thai restaurants. I'm also half Thai and half Filipino. I say this not to boast but to give some kind of confidence to the readers that I know great food...and this place absolutely knocks it out of the park for authentic Thai, great atmosphere and decent pricing. I had the Crispy Roll (needed a little fish sauce or garlic), Pork Laab (excellent) and the mango with sweet rice. I will definitely stop in again and even drive from Covington, KY just to eat here. This is our go to place for take out and dining out in Lima. We absolutely love the vegan options, portion sizes are huge, and everything is amazing. I usually get the curries, pad thai, or just tried a new vermicelli noodle salad that was amazing! It's my new favorite. So fresh! We love the tofu deeping appetizer with the delicious peanut dipping sauce. My husbands go to is the pad pak. Love eating in as it's clean and a nice ambiance. Service is a bit slow but I will absolutely take that for the fresh food! A decent selection of drinks as well. We usually get some white wine. Our son likes the mango juice. Can't go wrong with the Thai iced tea. read more

The green curry was hot in a perfect way. They say they are not a fast food place and because they cook to order, you may have to wait, but our food came in a timely manner. There was a problem with one of the entree's, but they made it right immediately. I do wish they had a version of Tom aka Gha without meat - even so, I would go back if we are passing through again. read more

Stopped in for lunch and had the spring rolls and the lettuce wraps. The spring rolls are tiny (picture largish sushi rolls) but very flavorful! I chose the chicken lettuce wraps. They had peas in it with other veggies too. While the taste was great, I am not a fan of peas. If it is listed on the menu, I missed it. Otherwise a good meal. read more

I've had a good experience here in the past, but this one was "meh" so I averaged to get 3 stars. I like this place because it is vegetarian friendly, and it is calm and peaceful inside. Many of their dishes can be made with tofu, and there are a couple of vegetarian appetizers. So 5 stars to the menu! But this time our service was pretty bad, and there were only two tables of people. The waitress kept walking away from our table before we were finished interacting with her. For example, my friend wanted her curry spicy so she started to ask about spice levels, and the waitress cut her off and said don't worry it's not spicy and walked away as she was saying it, so my friend never got to ask for spicy; then it was so bland she was dousing it with salt and pepper and didn't like it. I don't like spicy and was happy that my Pad Thai wasn't, but the sauce was goopy and syrupy and not like a usual Pad Thai sauce. Otherwise it was ok. The tofu was fried perfectly, and the two vegetarian appetizers were good and also fried well. Prices were fine, bathroom was clean. I'll go back but order something else and hope the service improves. read more

A great Thai restaurant hidden in a small town! The vegetarian options were welcoming. The fresh spring roll portion size was a little disappointing, but the flavor was great! Highly recommend the Pad Ka Pow, beware tho it is Spaiccyy. We also got some noodles, we have preferred to omit the egg. We got tofu for all the dishes. Overall, great flavor and I would recommend trying it if you are fine with a little heat. Otherwise, there are several other great options on the menu as well! My first yelp review! I love this place, but I only get here when my husband is busy as his pallet is less adventurous than mine. I love the flavor of the soup with coconut milk and lemongrass. I just wish they would pick out the inedible bay leaves and lemongrass shoots before serving. I love the curry - I've tried the red curry and mussman curry. The mussman curry is really mild ( I think my husband would like it if I could get him to come.). The red curry may be a bit spicy for midwesterners. The service can be very good or not-so-hot, depends on the waitress. Food comes out quickly. Thai Jasmine is the best Asian restaurant in Lima. I highly recommend!! read more

Thought I'd give this restaurant a try by the high Yelp reviews. Ordered the Mussman curry and a Thai ice tea by phone to go - COVID and all. The street to the restaurant was being torn up so had to park 2 blocks away and walked around just to find the place. Mask on to pick up my order, it was pretty dark, not a lot of ambiance nor decor, that's ok I had a to go order. Went to pay for my meal, and didn't even check my order...my bad, they forgot my Thai ice tea, dang it...Minus one star, no attention to detail. Got back to the hotel to dig in, curry was complex with spices and flavors, slightly on the sweet side, but no heat - disappointing, wish they would have told me so I could request more chili...minus another star. Was headed back from a trip down south and stopped here for lunch. I was looking for an awesome Thai place I ate at years prior. I'm not sure is this was the place but moved or a different place. It's as awesome as the one I remembered. The other was near the railroad tracks closer to the interstate. The fresh spring rolls, entree and dessert were all terrific.
