I ordered China Wok through GrubHub while staying overnight in St Mary's, OH. There are two…read morecomments I need to make - first about China Wok and second about the delivery. I ordered steamed dumplings and their Chef's special - Steak and Scallops. It was ordered through the GrubHub website and I was given a delivery time range, as they normally do. The food was okay, or at least what I could eat of it. When they packed the meal, they forgot to add any utensils. I tried to chase down the "Dasher" but even though I was next to her car waving frantically, she either didn't see me or chose not to. Dumplings can be finger food, but I'm afraid that any Chinese dish in a brown sauce isn't. The dumplings were well made and I did like the dipping sauce. As for the Steak and Scallops - I did try it using my fingers, which wasn't particularly enjoyable. The steak was tender and well flavored. There were ample vegetables in the dinner. The scallops were about pea-sized... I've never seen anything like that before. Typically, scallops are about an inch in diameter? They were kind of flavorless. Without utensils, I really couldn't eat rice nor eat the meal. So, I tried to contact GrubHub. They hid or got rid of their chat function so I emailed and did get a pretty rapid response saying they issues a $5 credit for the problem. We emailed back and forth a few times as I tried to explain I wanted either a refund or someone to deliver something I could use to eat the food with. Finally, the GrubHub rep told me to use their online form for faster service. I did and their autoresponder told me to expect a reply in 24 to 48 hours. I threw out the food. They simply could have contacted the restaurant, had them fix the problem, and take back the $5 credit. 24 hours, almost to the minute, I heard back from them. After a few emails, they won't stand by any sort of guarantee on this. How does a $5 credit solve the problem? As for China Wok, I would return again but would not use GrubHub. As for GrubHub, I don't suggest you use them for delivery from here.

In town for a single night and decided to check out The Side Rail. A railroad themed restaurant?…read more Not a hard sell for us! The Side Rail is located in downtown Wapakoneta, Ohio. It's about a downtown as one can get, and easy to find. Inside The Side Rail looks larger than it does from the outside. It's nicely railroad themed with train signage, photos, and memorabilia around the place. Since it was Thursday evening around dinner time, the place was kinda hopping. There were no table available so we sat at the bar. The menu is sizable and has a lot of really appetizing items and it was, legit, hard to chose. I selected the Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese (Texas toast smothered in jalapeno cream cheese spread and bacon, along with cheddar and pepper jack cheeses) with onion rings. They have, on our visit, about 6 different beers on tap, and from what we were told they're ever-changing. There were a number of screens behind the bar showing sporting events. The bar, itself, was adorned railroad style, of course, with real model railroad track. It was a very cool touch. Food delivery was less than 10 minutes, and it was served HOT, and the the Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese was exactly what I needed/expected. The onion rings were excellent (however, I did ask our server and they're not made/breaded their, but come out of a frozen bag. :( ) Nonetheless, they were fantastic. Our server (whose name escapes me) was great and answered all of our questions without hesitation. She also kept our iced teas topped off. The Side Rail is a fun, neighborhood kinda place with awesome theming and friendly staff. I wish this was closer to home. I could hang out here regularly.

My family and I were wanting some good Chinese food, and one of my coworkers recommended this place. Walking, place is open, comfortable and clean. There is a small area where one can place to go orders. We ordered honey chicken, general tsos chicken, chicken fried rice, wonton soup, and fried dumplings. We also noticed on the menu fried bread, which we also ordered. The wait was not very long, and the price was very reasonable. The person who attended us gave us also two small bag of fried wontons, fortune cookies and a container of jello. We took it home and we loved the food. The fried bread was heavenly. The rest of the food was delicious. That is all except for the fried rice, which we did not appreciate. Still, the vast majority of the food was great and we are resolved to come back for more. This is especially true as my mom is a soup person, and she will want more wonton soup in the future. I am very happy I took my friend recommendation.
