Spring Rollls and Prik Khing. Nice light sauce.

A Real Gem south of Kansas City. Tucked away in a strip center just off the highway in Peculiar. Not a large place but Both booths and tables and typic Thai decor Varied, traditional Thai menu. Usually go for a stir-fried dish. They are accompanied with an oh so flavorful light 'sauce/broth'. Large portions! Presents a Good value. Friendly staff, all appear to be of Thai descent and speak Thai. Do a fair carry out business as well. I don't live here, but every time I can stop I do--at least six times. Looking forward to trying a Panang Curry on my next visit.

Phenomenal yellow fried rice... the best I've had in the Midwest. Incredible to have this option so close to home.

To look at this place driving up, think of a takeout Chinese establishment, but don't let that…read morethrow you off. Stepping inside I was quickly greeted and seated. The restaurant is simple but very clean and background music was at just the right level to allow for conversation. An extensive menu of Thai delights. I had a Thai iced tea that was perfectly made along with Crab Rangoon fora starter. Nicely crisp at the edges and warm and chewy in the middle. For the entree I had chicken pad se ew hot (they offer mild, medium, hot, and Thai hot). Servings were generous and the food was very tasty. The price is average compared to what I've typically seen at other Thai restaurants. Service was outstanding and the kitchen staff came out to make sure ever was to mt satisfaction. Definitely a revisitable place to get some delicious food in a casual setting for a good price!

But the rice was under-done, as were the potatoes in the yellow curry. The curry itself was less flavorful than I'd previously experienced, and the cream cheese in the crab rangoon was... suspect. I also noted that the rangoon were baked rather than fried, leaving them dry as well as pasty, with the coagulated, yellow cream cheese. It's not unusual for a restaurant to have a bad day - it's run by people, after all. I'll try them one more time before I write them off as a lost treasure.

Doing my best to keep up with everything.. But at least I'm able to post it now other than later. Life has thrown a Lot of me for sure. That awkwardly being included and whatnot, us girlies chose to have Thai food for lunch that day in between destinations and it was nothing But amazing! Everything was delicious and we all overate a bit now that I think about it. It's always hilarious to me when any of us allow ourselves to just Keep going. haha We all experienced food-coma for sure. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of our waitress, but she was super kind and welcoming. I hope to see her when I visit next time! I appreciate how private the tables and booths are in their restaurant as well. Privacy and space is very important to me.

Portions were really big and food was really good. Pad Thai was hot and the pad key maw was mild. Hot was hot. But the mild wasn't spicy at all. Sauce with the tiger cry beef was a little spicy, but really tasty. Definitely have lots of left overs. Word to the wise, if you like it saucy, order with extra sauce. Will definitely go back. Our usual place is the Thai Place on 87th in OVP, but we live in Lee's Summit so Mali Thai is a lot closer.
